YAY!! my favorite TA pic!!!!![/QUOTE]

And I have heard all my life if you find a guy that loves his dog/cat and is good to them they will not be abusive to humans either.

IMO

Yes, so true! If someone tells me they don't like animals (cats are my favorite animals, but I love dogs, rabbits, mice, birds you name it), all kinds of red flags go up. At least for me. I'm not saying everyone should love them as much as I do (but that would be great, IMO), but to not like animals just strikes me as being the type of person I want to avoid. Again, JMOO.

In the Flores/Arias interrogation video (orange jumpsuit), I find some of Jodi's narrative authentic. Mostly, when she becomes animated and speaks quickly, it seems she is actually doing genuine recall of her memory.

One of these instances is at 2:52:00. Just prior to that, she started talking about taking pix of TA in the shower, laughing when remembering him saying "I feel gay." I felt that was authentic. Then at 2:52:00, she talks about the close up shot of his face. She says:

"It's a great picture...he hates it..." then,

"I don't know what he hates about that picture..."

What I find interesting about this, is that photo was taken at 5:29:20. After saying "he hates it" (present tense), Flores said "you were showing him the pictures?" and she said yes.

So in 44 seconds, between the time of the 5:29:20 face shot, and 5:31:14, the time of the ceiling lights picture, she had 1) taken the picture, 2) pulled up the image in the camera, 3) shown TA the picture, 4) TA responded that he hated it, and 5) dropped or otherwise shot a picture of the lighting indicating a loss of control of the camera. All that happened within 44 seconds.

I believe this part of her story, that she showed him the pic and he said he hated it. What I wanna know is what happened in those 44 seconds? She showed him a photo, showed it to him to get his opinion and then commenced her premeditated murder assault with a knife or gun? The sequence makes no sense to me. Why get his opinion when you're ready to murder him?

Thoughts?

I think it could be that he hated it because she was scaring him in some way for that photo. When she says 'he hates it', she acknowledges that at that moment, he was feeling something (scared, threatened, sad, being threatened with death, mutilation, something) negative that she induced.

Good morning!

I have finally given up on trying to catch up! I do try to read every post when I am following a case or a murder trial, but these threads move too fast.

As I sit here reading these posts and watching the trial my heart breaks every day for Travis' family and true friends. God, please bless them and give them strength.

I am watching IS prior to trial this morning. The defense computer (so-called) expert testimony is being replayed. His smacking before talking is driving me nuts. He really looks like and reminds me of the defense computer expert in the Brad Cooper case who was not allowed to testify. This guy is so happy to be there and help the defense. After the way this witness was shut down on Friday, I am really looking forward to court today!

This case makes me physically ill. I'm always here .............just not posting. I appreciate all of the posts, links, and the updates!

AMEN, ocean!

And conversely, someone who can leave a kitten in a dark room alone for two weeks can easily abuse humans and have no remorse. IMO.

Interesting to ponder, Boodles. I have also wondered about the close-up photo of Travis' face, where he looks threatened/worried/frightened(!). How could she take that photo (holding a camera) while also holding a gun or knife? And if she is only holding a camera, why does he have that look on his face? Is it then only because he is annoyed and/or upset about the shower photo-taking? Or perhaps because she surprised him and he was unaware that she was there? The camera is a larger model camera - not easy to hold with one hand. It doesn't seem likely to me that she would have been able to operate the camera while also holding a gun (but I could be wrong). I wish we better understood the sequence of events. Perhaps it will be clearer after today's testimony.

Does anyone know if Juan showed this clip to the jury?

If not, I think he should end his closing arguments with a side-by-side of the picture of Travis neck slashed while playing this video.

Wow!! What is the deal with her face? It looks like a silicone mask. Her complexion is so smooth and flawless. It is just not normal looking to me. jmo

Hiya, everyone! I'm a frequent lurker on this thread, but I rarely post, and I've not yet been able to see any of the trial - I work 6a-4pm CST weekdays.

But, today I have a sniffly/sneezy/'Mommy-I-don't-feeeeeeeel-good'/7 year old son - and accordingly, I'm also off work.

I wouldn't say I'm excited to take a day off (or that my lil guy isn't feeling well.)

I would say, however, that it was darned good timing. Now I get to see the trial!

:rocker:

I'm looking forward to joining you guys today!

BBM - Oh my ... I think you could be on to something - ??? perhaps JA handed TA the camera to look at the pictures and that distracted TA enough for JA to make the chest stab and TA dropped the camera ???

I certainly NEVER insinuated he was abusing her. Where did that come from?

That is the defense's case. She killed him in self-defense. No, I was not talking about you I was commenting on the recording that defense is claiming shows he was abusive. Really, nothing you said. jmo

Is there a YouTube link? I would love to re-see it when I need a giggle pick-me-up during the day

Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

I found it on youtube, fragile (is that Italian? TM "A Christmas Story :) )

It is trial day 10. Jodi Arias Murder Trial day 10. Part 1 - YouTube

I just started it and he's already creeped me. He's a silver ring holder, who makes 100,000 a year whether or not he gets out of bed.

Yuk.

But it does help give Jodi motive, IMO. She surely thought Travis was going to be getting richer and richer, and wanted to be a part of that lifestyle.

This defense is just making Jodi's case look worse and worse, according to me.
