Child endangerment charges are set up in a way that they can cover a wide variety of situations. It could be she admitted to taking a sleeping pill herself and falling asleep while the children are home. It could be something very small but LE saw an opportunity to detain her and took it. They may have done a hair follicle test on the infant and it came back positive for marijuana, charges her with endangering and then dropped the second charge because they couldn’t physically test Lucas at the time.

Are you out that way of will you be driving into Andover?

No, not at all. I actually live in Andover and my office isn’t far. I can always go after work as well but need others to go with me just to be on the safe side.

That is a very good thought!!

SM is very rarely used in that scenario for lots of reasons. We would certainly check out SM, but weren’t able to use it in court. It’s too unreliable.

Yes, thank you! That was kind of what I was trying to say in one of my comments, you were just a little more succint than me, I think. When my brain gets going sometimes the words don't come out the way I need them to. Maybe she told them something not realizing it was something she could get arrested for. I know there is good reason that we don't know, but dang if I don't wish we did!

I am looking around on Google Maps right now, around the N. Brookside St area, and there's a ton of stuff in that creek and creekbed.

The problem with using things from SM is that the person could always say "I didn't post that." Or "XYZ had my phone." Creates reasonable doubt.

Google Maps says "Dry Creek" is the creek I am looking at right now. LOTS of culverts. Some are around crowded areas, other parts are not.

Hi- ESO, I believe, might have been another fabulous member, sent a drone over this lake over the weekend. I've not seen confirmation of any other searches.

Yes, we did. I posted some pictures there and we didn’t see anything. But it is a big area........I am wanting to go back because it is accessible at night, it’s dark and very private. LE searched the park, but it’s not clear if they included the pond in that search. You can see it from the highway and you drive by the Humane Society to get there.

Is it completely unrealistic to think that she would take stuff to the landfill on her own? Butler Co is more lenient than Sedgwick Co is. My ex used to take stuff there all of the time. She did just move. What if she took boxes and what not? Ugh. I can’t even imagine but I also would never do something like this.

We did not search this, but we did see what looked like a detective searching it.

Maybe we should check out the Bel Aire pond in Bel Aire Heights!

I just don't see her risking that. Too easy to possibly get caught if they try to dispose of it for her, know what I mean? JMO.

Can I make a suggestion, how about we move away from the pullups? We're not going to understand their significance, if there even is one. Ultimately the pullup doesn't help us find Lucas, it reminds me of the extra details included in a mathematical word-problem, the detail is thrown in to muddy the waters of the question and make it more difficult to answer. It's best to ignore the detail if it isn't pertinent to finding the answer. Let's focus our efforts on finding Lucas and leave the motive or lack thereof of the diaper to the prosecutor. JMO.

I have to politely disagree. I actually think it could be important to finding him. According to the VI, he only wore them at night. Also, we're focusing on Friday-Saturday. This leads us to believe that he disappeared the night before. The lack of crime scene tape at the house makes me suspect that it, well, wasn't a crime scene. So he quite possibly died somewhere else, at night. So now we're looking at maybe her sleeping over at someone's house, or at least staying there so late that she put the kids to bed there. Where would she go to maybe party? It WAS a Friday night, afterall. If it wasn't February, I would say maybe an outdoor area and they could've slept in the car. But in winter, maybe someone else's house. Then I wonder who her friends are... and I start thinking that maybe since she grew up in Andover and maybe knows more people there, maybe that's the key.

I'm just rambling now, but my point is, I think it could be a very important clue to actually finding him.

I thought that too but who knows. Some days I feel like I am over analyzing all of it. Lol

Thank you to everyone who is keeping Lucas' thread updated and continuing to search and brainstorm! I wasn't able to do anything today (I had to get my brain rot covered) and I won't be able to tomorrow because I am going to the doctor with our daughter to see baby and find out if she is having a boy are girl. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, perfectingpink! How exciting, a darling grandchild!

You've been amazing, and so has your hubby Mr. Pink. You are certainly entitled to a few days off sweet lady. Enjoy your day tomorrow with your daughter! :rose:

So late Friday night would be my guess that something occurred. It's dark out, so people tend to either be in their homes eating dinner, watching TV, going to bed. That would be probably the best time to do something in terms of hiding a body, versus daylight, when people are more apt to remember seeing someone more clearer. When it's dark out, unless you have neon clothing on, colors tend to blend together from clothing, hair appears darker, etc.

Assuming she didn't drive away with Lucas in her own vehicle, she would, I would imagine either have had to walk with a stroller or carriage, as I can't imagine her carrying him for even a 1/4 of a mile without complication. He would be too big for a back pack or baby carrier, and even in the dark, I would think someone would remember seeing a woman carrying a suit case. They would also think it odd if a woman was wheeling a wheel barrow down the street, so that's out.

Did they go out to eat that night, then went for a walk close by on a walking trail or park? I wonder what restaurants would be within walking distance from their new house.

Did someone visit her and help her remove Lucas from the home in their vehicle?

Steelslady-I’m thinking it happened Friday night. Who was at the home Friday night? Where was Emily on early Saturday morn and all day Sunday? I wish we knew if the stroller was missing.

I could seriously talk about trash for hours. 18 years of hearing “I picked up trash there”, “look what I found today” and “that guy throws out 🤬🤬🤬🤬 at that house” tends to stick with you after awhile. Company parties are super fun [emoji849]

This is just a tad North of Andover near Towanda. The bridge gave me the creeps. I was trying to think outside of the box so I looked up abandoned farms in Butler Co. I’ve lived here a long time and don’t know most of these. Not sure on all of them distance wise.

Would they need a warrant if she handed it over voluntarily? Say she didn't realize how much they could find or thought she had wiped enough to cover herself?

It depends.....we had a case get thrown out because we didn’t get a warrant even tho it was voluntarily turned over. But it’s been about 4 years and some of the laws have changed. I just know how overly paranoid the DA was when we would do case review about having every base covered. Getting convictions thrown out on appeal is every prosecutors nightmare. The problem you have is getting the phone because they are looking for evidence about Lucas and stumbling onto something else unrelated. They can use the info to investigate but not to prosecute if that makes sense. But just because EG would be arrested with the phone on her doesn’t mean they can check it. If EG did turn it over, she had time to alter it.

Oh, okay. I didn’t realize anyone thought it was an accident. Thanks for clarifying.
As much as I want to hate her, and whatever happened is - as she puts it, on her - it's possible she didn't do anything on purpose, and Lucas died via negligence. That's as close to an "accident" that I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for, and that's how I interpreted it. jmo
