There was no activity at the house the day he was reported missing per neighbor. Pull up equals nap or sleep, in this case it would be Friday overnight as Friday nap might be too early.
Either the 4 to 6 on Friday INCLUDED Lucas which is why there were original charges and that would be his last seen time... Or that time did NOT include Lucas but they wouldn't then be sure Iggie last seen time.
So IMO, he was seen somewhere, somehow.... related to drug use mind you....4 to 6 on Friday. Going with 6 then let's say EG comes home, gets high, passes out. I would say that something more like negligence happened except for the pull up. That tells me she was awake and functional up through his bedtime even tho on this particular night it could have been 7pm or 1am.
So in the overnight hours of Friday is when he disappeared. Have they checked nearby cameras for her truck leaving then following it? Of course they have. So they lost the truck at some point IF EG was driving. I'm still not sure about that. Especially if she was freaked out and strung out. Who would she call ASSUMING JH was indeed out of town. Not her ex... Who else? Black man and white woman? Smoking man? Or did she indeed chance driving him herself?
That also opens up that he could be HOURS away if someone else took him or a lot longer than a few mins if she took him. Looking like I was way off about him being walked nearby. Hmm. What time was the toll road sighting?
So sorry for the disjointed thoughts. Just thinking out loud.
Abby? Is that you? [emoji6]

I drive this way from Andover into Wichita everyday and get the same feeling daily. Completely agree with you.

What about Pawnee? Do you ever go that far down to cut across?

Can I make a suggestion, how about we move away from the pullups? We're not going to understand their significance, if there even is one. Ultimately the pullup doesn't help us find Lucas, it reminds me of the extra details included in a mathematical word-problem, the detail is thrown in to muddy the waters of the question and make it more difficult to answer. It's best to ignore the detail if it isn't pertinent to finding the answer. Let's focus our efforts on finding Lucas and leave the motive or lack thereof of the diaper to the prosecutor. JMO.
In this case, it leads me to thoughts about her being out late at night, which leads me to theorize where she would go. So while they themselves are not a topic to discuss, their use is certainly a motivator towards forward thinking.

I usually don’t but in the last week have here and there. More time spent near Pawnee and Woodlawn due to Cessna Park. I think I’ll take that route tomorrow morning and leave a little early. The wheels are turning now. It’s pretty open as well. More than Harry I think.

I could do this. :) It is funny you say this though. When Mr. Pink and I were leaving the other day, I said, "Watch him be right here."

ETA: I think it would be difficult to go unnoticed around the lake though. There are a ton of homeowners with dogs and I know one particular person knows EVERYTHING that goes on in the neighborhood.

I probably could guess who that person is! Yeah I don’t see that pond as a real possibility but after BTK, I believe that anything is possible now.

LOL Totally O/T but this reminded me of a scene in the movie "Serial Mom." Kathleen Turner ("serial mom") is in court on charges of multiple murder and a detective is testifying about the true crime books he found after surreptitiously searching her trash, trying to lead the jury to think that because she reads true crime she must be a murderer. So when Turner's character starts to cross-examine the detective she asks what would be found in his trash and he throws out a few benign names of magazines, Turner then opens a folder and says "Well, detective, we found these when searching your trash" and she holds up hermaphrodite and midget 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 magazines to the laughs and jeers of those in the courtroom.

BTW, if you've never seen "Serial Mom" I highly recommend it, it's a funny take on society's obsession with true crime. It was directed by John Waters and stars Kathleen Turner, Ricki Lake and Sam Waterston.

LE seriously does that. They will have the trashman clear out everything in his “bay”, lay down a special bag, then the trash gets picked up and dumped into the bag. They then don’t pack it, meet up with LE and they take it from there. The drivers sign something stating where the trash came from. And then it’s inventoried by LE. I find the whole process a little creepy but once you put your trash at the curb, it’s free game to be used against you in a court of law.

And I have seen that movie! Love that scene [emoji23]

Yes! I totally understand the precautions! You never want to jeopardize anything, that's for sure. That's why I was thinking maybe they would be able to use it just for the sake of narrowing down timelines and where to search for him. If they used info found inside her voluntarily surrendered phone to locate him, they woudln't necessarily need to use that for prosecition purposes, though it would be ideal if it served the dual purpose of searching and locating as well as evidentiary. Now, if they *did* get a warrant to search her phone, would that be public knowledge for sure, or could it still be an unknown to us sleuthers? Thank you for filling me in!

Warrants for evidence during ongoing investigations are typically sealed and not part of public information. It’s killing me that no one has released a copy of the formal charges because I know what it is that should be there.

Oh good. Thank you for that info!

I'm glad you brought it up, though. At least it was discussed and ruled out. Good thinking and keep your ideas coming.

How about these 2 spots on Harry and South Andover, where 4 mile creek goes under? Is it out of your way?

Not out of my way at all. Some mornings I do take that route. I’ll take it tomorrow and be more observant. [emoji57]

I love trash talking!

You are the best, ESO!

(you think that's bad, try listening to an electrician trying to explain how the ballasts at one store burned out all the others because the yellow wire was hooked up to a red wire and almost caused the entire store to lose power. I sometimes sit there looking like a deer facing headlights......)

All kidding aside, thank you very much for all the info on trash pick ups and the great drone photos. Much appreciated.

Something about Lucas has grabbed me. LE searching the places so close to my home has been unnerving to say the least. And using my endless knowledge of trash for good is just a bonus!

Wait. Have they really not searched any landfills? Do we know that for sure? I would think that would have been one of the first places LE would check. Sometimes even in so-called "runaway" cases we hear about landfill searches, just to make sure.

I have thought about the container idea. But I don't know how much weight EG could lift or how much she'd be willing to lift. I was thinking about the blue plastic barrels from the Stacy Peterson case, but those are quite large.

Super....looking for clear ability to pull on side of the road and have access to the area under the road to put something.

Be safe... :)

I thought of you when I saw the bridge! I will never look at bridges the same. Ever. They completely freak me out now and we have way more than I ever imagined. That was a poor search on my part when I should already be sleeping. Lol

I'm sorry for causing you to freak out about the bridges. :blushing:

That is actually for the construction landfill and often want to check to see what you are throwing away. I won’t say it’s impossible but since the big landfill closed and they started hauling it an hour away, it’s not as common for people to haul their own trash. I did check to make sure there wasn’t any neighborhood cleanups the city and county will sponsor where they leave out dumpsters for neighborhoods to fill up. It’s too early in the year for one.

in Sedgewick county you can take trash especially like old furniture to one of thentransfer stations. Wichita will occasionally do free coupons up to a certain amount especially after a bad storm that tears trees up. They did one last year I think. The website says to call for prices but the last time I went after cleaning out my garage it was $50/Ton

I’ve asked my exhusband if he’s aware of any searches at the landfill and he’s not heard of any. Since it’s an hour away, they could search it without the public knowing. And since the driver’s dump at a transfer station, they won’t actually see anything either. I’m just hoping that sweet little boy isn’t there. It’s definitely a possibility.

I definitely hope Lucas isn't in the landfill, but I'm shocked if they aren't at least looking to be sure. Even if it's an hour away. I hope LE has or will check and maybe we just haven't heard about it.
