He is looking rough this morning. No one bringing him a suit or clothes. Who is his attorney? Still public defender? Moo

So does this jail issue grey sweatshirts? Or same sweater he came in with?

I know next-to-nothing about the way the prison system works (in the U.S. or anywhere else). However, I've read/heard that in some cases, high-profile criminals like BW are put in a sort of isolation or "protective custody" to protect them from other prisoners. I.e., someone like him would draw a lot of unwanted attention from other prisoners - especially given that he's been accused of doing something extremely heinous & cowardly: I.e., killing a woman who was significantly smaller/weaker than him - and who was very possibly completely caught by surprise.

I know that when the infamous <modsnip> Whitey Bulger was killed in prison in 2018 - his relatives were complaining that he was unprotected & that it was the prison's fault, etc. So, I suspect that in cases like this the prisons go out of their way to ensure high-profile prisoners' "safety".

That all being said - to those on here who may know more than I do about these things, please correct me if I'm wrong here.

Late last week, an August 2014 police report from Washington, D.C., came to light. In it, Ana Knipp, the now-deceased woman’s maiden name at the time, told the Metropolitan Police Department that Brian Walshe "made a statement over the telephone that he was going to kill [Ana] and her friend." The report did not specifically name Brian Walshe but police confirmed to WCVB that he is linked to the complaint.
