So the question becomes, who's vehicle was she really seeing at 12:45 in the exact spot where she thought KR's SUV was? Was it the jeep that she was looking at at 12:45? Or someone else's vehicle? Her story did not make sense.
MOO

I think she was probably trying to cover for all the calls she made to John's phone. "I saw they were still out there, so I was trying to reach him!"

Except no one was still out there by then.

I swear, a book could be written about the shenanigans of LE, supposedly "friends" of John. And the bias shown in court.

Really think now that John was an outsider, at least to the men.

IMO
He knew the women bc of the kids - play dates, carpools, etc. The men ? Not so much. Plus he was an eligible attractive bachelor that the women all wanted to fix their single friend up with or something.

1. I think he deemed that there was nothing of value on it. I can’t remember if he showed it to another cop and it was that cop that said it or the cop that was the homeowner.
Ex cop was homeowner. Iirc he was the ex chief of police. JMO

Well, she wasn't seeing any vehicle at all at 12.45am Imo. She made that up deliberately to fit with the cw's timeline prior to trial X 1 and to make her text messages to John during that time frame explicable ( the Lexus was still there so I continued to text). I believe it was a calculated fabrication. Jmo

The Canton PD got their red solo cups from him. To collect evidence in a sterile manner, of course.

Another interesting fact is that law enforcement told local media right after Karen's arrest that they had ring camera video of her hitting John. They clearly had no such video, so why lie so blatently unless they were trying to poison the fact well right off the bat.

I must be watching a different trial. Karen Read seems incredibly guilty. The things that are treated like some sort of conspiracies seem very typical to me. If you ask me what time I ate breakfast this morning, I can't tell you. Especially if you ask me was it 7:37 or 7:52? And did you talk to your husband about it? I mean, yeah. It's normal life. I don't think she thought she killed him, necessarily, but she knew she hit him. It's why she called 53 times. I'm so confused by all the people who want her to be not guilty and have others blamed. Of course, we just finished Delphi. So nothing shocks me anymore.

Which bring to mind....maybe too friendly with the women in some of the men's opinion?

I do wonder where BH's jeep really was, or did he have his Edge? Who would park in the middle of the road in a snow storm? BH and BA walked in together....did BA tell BH where to park? On the far right of the driveway.

John's injuries are completely inconsistent with him being struck by any vehicle.

Exactly!

I think the "beef" that night was likely between John and Higgins. Based on Higgins' interest in John's girlfriend and whatever the heck was going on with them a few minutes before at the Waterfall.

Not saying Higgins was the one who delivered the fatal blow to John's head. Just that the spark that started everything was probably between those two.

Exactly how I see it as well, he was the instigator to what went down.

I didn’t see the entire T1, so I’m curious as to how it feels different for you, having watched all of T1? 😊. Thanks!
In this trial the CW feels more desparate, even Brennen. Could be a blip to his illustrious career. They know they have the same set of characters as the first trial where they came dangerously close to an acquittal on the 3 charges.

Difference is these characters are all they have to work with and for whatever reason are changing/defending their previous testimonies. Scrounging up experts look to be a problem already. Kind of running scared. Although this time they undoubtedly have the judge helping them, so who knows??? All JMO.

The Canton town IT guy also testified that the CD Lally handed to him as evidence was NOT the same CD he handed over to law enforcement.

Unless you were trying to make it seem that someone never even arrived inside the house when in actual fact he had.

Jen said she saw Read's car still there outside at 12:45.

However, Read connected to Wifi at John's house at 12:36 a good 2.5 miles away.

Well if she had kept to a single story she wouldn't have to be grilled over and over again. Her lies came so easily to her that she immediately lied to the FBI on 1st contact!! She's lied so many times in multiple trials and Grand Juries that there is no way to know when or if she is telling the truth. Watch any police interrogation video and you will see different detectives ask the same questions over and over and over again. Why? Because that is how they get to the truth! When stories change every time they are told, that is an indication that someone is lying. If a person is telling the truth the story should never change. jen mcabe lied so many times, to so many different people that I doubt even she knows the truth anymore! Jackson had no choice but to go after her because she was lying over and over and over again. Her pathetic need to see what she said was an obvious attempt to make sure she got her lies straight.

And make no mistake, it is because of jen mcabe that KR is on trial. Her version of things and her manipulations of the truth led police to charge KR with murder. Jackson had to go hard at her in order to show the jury that mcabe's lies are what put Karen Read on trial.

As far as her being a solid witness are you kidding me? EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY is wrong according to her. Let's see, of the top of my head,

She blamed her phone for consistently making phone calls and texts ON IT'S OWN!!
She blamed trooper proctor for not taking proper notes and writing things down properly.
She said officer Lank was wrong
She said officer Tully was wrong
Cellebrite data is wrong until she needs it to help her cause, then it's right.
Apple data is wrong
Kerry Roberts is wrong
Google is wrong
Verizon is wrong
Axiom is wrong
The court reporters from the Grand Jury were wrong
The forensic evidence is wrong
The weatherman is wrong
Life 360 is wrong
The FBI was wrong until jen spoke to them and now they are RIGHT and owed a debit of gratitude to her.
All clocks on all devices are wrong. Only her own internal clock is right, ALL. The. Time!

I can go on and on. Just looking at all the polls yesterday and today about how jen did on the stand the overwhelming consensus is running about 90/10 in favor of her being horrible. Personally, I don't see how anyone in their right mind would think that jen was being a beacon of truth. What she displayed the last 3 days on the stand was textbook narcissism and manipulation. She came off as a vicious, ugly person who lies just as easily as she blinks her eyes. She could not just answer a simple question. She had to orate and craft her words in a way that made her look good and to make excuses for all of her lies. I said it earlier in the thread yesterday. If I had just walked in out of the cold without knowing a single thing about this case and saw jen mcabe's testimony, I would convict her of murder. She was THAT bad!!

Which coincidentally lines up with Matt McCabe et all on the group text, the following day or two discussing the media being at D&E....and what to "tell them". It was the same media who initially disclosed the false report of a ring video. Imagine that!!!

She was very nonchalant about that specific officer. “Could have been a police, I can’t tell what is on ‘the’ jacket (not ‘his’ jacket), I don’t remember who it was that I was talking to.” The next photo cue was on the right side showing the person she was talking to was in a police uniform.

It’s ludicrous that she didn’t run inside to get manpower, both in form and function. Professionals trained in handling this stuff. A man larger than JO may have had more success in cpr.
I think JOK was beyond the help of any CPR at that point and JMc knew it. KerR and KR were not IMO.

That is one area of testimony that I do not recall well from T1. As I recall, BH arrived before anyone else and he seemed to make some joke about plowing their driveway before the Alberts arrived. I think he said he then moved his Jeep w/plow to the street by the mailbox. Said he did not want to get stuck in the driveway if someone parked behind him. But the rest of his story made little sense to me as his timeline after leaving 34 Fairview was too muddled.

I haven’t forgotten about this ie when Karen’s father stated that Karen told him, she thought she hit something. How the story has changed now!

She did hit something JOK's car. There is video of it, and the event was not in the Alberts yard and prior to that her light was not broken but John was already laid out in the yard.

The entire story about the tail light IS crap and that evidence from the light had to have beem planted. IMO. I think that has been proven. You can prove that by what is know factually already with video to validate it.

What scientific evidence have you seen (including T1) that proves Mr. O’Keefe was fatally struck by a vehicle? Moo
