Yeah but even if she did hit him, who is to say it wasn’t a hair from a week ago? I mean clearly hair can stick to a bumper for a prolonged time in extreme conditions. JMO
Yeah for sure. I see the hair as meaningless to the CW's case. Imo it has no evidentiary value whatsoever.
JO and KR were together as a couple so there are many reasonable scenarios for a random hair being there. And given there was no blood or skin accompanying the hair, it's not reasonable imo to infer it has any connection with the CW's flawed theory that KR hit JO with the Lexus. Jmo
Remember KR was laying on John's body trying to warm him that very morning. She could have easily been the transferer of a hair later that day after returning to Meadows post hospital. Or, like you say, JO may have shed it earlier on 28th.
Also, Idk if anyone lurking around the tail light in the Sally Port had been in the Meadows residence earlier on the 29th, or had contact/touched JO's clothing at the hospital, but if so, well heck even Proctor himself could have been an inadvertent transferer. I mean his DNA was recovered from the same vicinity, right?
I'm assuming the defense will lay this out for the jury in some form so they can make the necessary inference that the CW harping on about this singular, random hair is just a distraction from what is NOT there ie blood and skin. Some jurors may even infer Proctor planted it by the time we get to the end of this farcical ( moo) trial. Jmo
* If it really is John's hair and I'm not sure that is proven but it appears the CW showed a reasonable likelihood it is in trial x1.
