Police did go door to door to solicit this information but no one has come forward to say they saw anything and the police have not said they saw anything on any video.I guess the surrounding homes don't have ring doorbells or cameras? JMO
Security footage shows Sandra getting out of the car and going into a Cumberland Farms to buy cigarettes, after which she was taken home.
There is no evidence that Sandra, her shoes, or purse, ever made it back to the house after Cumby's.
Aren't these two statements contradictory? Or am I reading them wrong?
And why are her shoes mentioned?

Whoever dropped Sandra off at home after buying cigarettes needs to come forward and confirm that they dropped her off and she went in the house and everything seemed normal. Otherwise, by not doing this they are casting suspicion on themselves.
for some reason, this person is not identified in the news, but the person also drove the children home. the family and LE knows who this is. wonder if the mechanics first tried to call SC about the car parts and got no answer. also wonder how far ahead one cuts up watermelon for kids. the night before? early morning?

Yes, the statements are contradictory. It keeps getting repeated by the media that she made it home, but no evidence has been shown to verify this. So it can't be assumed she made it back from Cumby's.
I think the shoes are mentioned simply because the daughter pointed this out, and there is so little else to report on. It suggests that Sandra would wear one set of shoes most of the time. So if the shoes were found in the house and Sandra wasn't, that would be highly suspicious. No shoes and no Sandra suggests that when Sandra left the house for the last time, it was voluntarily.
It would not be a typical money or drug related robbery, if part of the plan was to make Sandra disappear. Getting rid of a body usually means deeper motive, or a more complex coverup, IMO.
Mechanic was instructed to call the daughter. Yeah, kinda weird to cut up watermelon on Wednesday for kids she wasn't going to babysit again til Friday...but then she might not have cut it up til Thursday because we don't know exactly when she went missing. Daughter was not alarmed enough by Sandra not answering the phone to go over there Thursday. Let's also not forget about the wooden bed frame slats being knocked to the floor and the boxspring/mattress in disarray.
'We just want answers' -- Hanson woman still missing after 5 weeksI read that the bed frame slats were moved. Did one of the articles say they were knocked to the floor and the mattress was in disarray?
and this to me is very odd IMO. Something happened - but what?'We just want answers' -- Hanson woman still missing after 5 weeks
“All the lights were on. The air conditioner was on. I walked to the back door, it was unlocked,” McMahon said. “The dog didn’t have any food or water. Nothing really seemed too out of place other than that all the bed boards were off. It appeared someone lifted the mattress.”
My immediate thought is that there was a struggle but IIRC, LE doesn't seem to think so? MOOand this to me is very odd IMO. Something happened - but what?
I wonder if they dusted for fingerprints - the door, the bed, the bedroom door etc? at least that may help determine if no one else was possibly there? I don't know this is a weird one IMO. She's obviously missing - I'm assuming they have checked her debit and credit cards but if they aren't treating it as a crime, maybe not? Yes, they've checked banking activity - there's been none. I hope they fingerprinted but they are saying they have nothing...I wonder if they dusted for fingerprints - the door, the bed, the bedroom door etc? at least that may help determine if no one else was possibly there? Yes, could be that too. MOOMy thought was not a struggle but someone looking for something. Something valuable- and perhaps not monetarily valuable.
