A law enforcement official briefed on the case said the video shows Marr on a walkway over the water before he apparently disappeared into the water.

The video shows a male heading toward the water and disappearing, said Boston Police Commissioner William Evans. We believe that is him. Its a sad case.
i am visual person. I get such different images of someone " entering" the water". I shall enter the pool now.
Or I "dissapeard" from the pool.
Or we saw him jump,
Or we saw him slip
or he was walking very sloppily
In this sitution someone seen "entering" the water , does not sound to me like a guy that accidently started walked into a body of water.
If this were an accident, posted details of drowning ealrier, folks that frozen, dont just stroll into a lake or whatever
IMo entering strikes me like behavior with "intent."
We also know he was not familiar with area. So we would have to say he could have gone north east west or south - so he had a 75% chance of going a way further from water.
If we go with accidental becasue he is so obliterated, He "informed them of his intent to smoke. (Organiized at that point - again thinking to some degree), as oppossed to just going out for smoke without letting anyone kno. He advise of "plan" Sounds oriented to me.
He had the cognative capacity to know he ought to let them know he cant get back in (logiical organzied/aware of what is going on around him, and responding to things, that, around him are changing /problem solving and adaptive behaviors) .
when asked he told them he was out front. He was able to provide intent of future plans "Let's leave""
We all know alcohol diminses just with the pasage of time. We also know that a blast of cold air when stepping out , with no jacket would zap ya back somewhere, yet with the passage of time he becomes less oriented.
Does any of this cogntive organization sound like someone who would in what 25 minutes being so blitzed that he enters a body of water?
That does not sound like drunk IMO - it sounds orgainzed, intentful. In his alleged so messed up that he accidetly ends up dead in a body of water - not jiving.
If he that messed, and walked that far, in that condition it seems unlilkly that a passerby that night would remeember a sloppy drunk walking around for a mile in sweater.
It sure seems as if the next morning a passerby who passed, learned what happened would certainly recall a guy stumbling undressed..
Boston is big. The notion that nooone saw him, on Friday night , right after clubs letting out, for a miles well.........................................
where as a person walking with intent, like he seems to be in the second pic, i would think a passerby would just think he is homeless wondering the street cause he is not wearing normative clothing for conditions that night.
