Thanks for all your posts and updates. I just saw the latest it certainly looks like it could be from the main body of the plane. Hopefully it won't take long to confirm whether it is from a plane or not and if it could be from MH370.

I read about the Chinese passengers families believing their loved ones are being held captive. It's a pity grief specialists can't help them because long term it's going to cause even more distress. They won't be able to move forward which is what their loved ones would want for them. It's a nightmare situation and I can't imagine what they are going through

Extremely heartbreaking.
Very well said, gregjrichards. Thank you.

Godspeed MH370

The plane debris found on Wednesday near the Malaysia northeastern coast is not from MH370 either. A new picture was added. This debris was in addition to the one found on the Thailand coast earlier.

Hi watcher9, keep meaning to thank you for keeping this thread going!!

So am I correct that the only evidence of MH370 was the big piece found on the Reunion coast? And was it just that one piece or did they find more?

I'm trying and thank you. Anything to keep it going. Sometimes I wish we could get Tomnod involved again and search all of the coastlines and shallow water.

Yes, the debris discovered on Reunion was the only piece found so far. I keep hoping something is going to happen any time so the plane can be located.

IIRC, it was just the one piece.

Saw this article this morning. Interesting!

On Jan 7, an Airbus A330 took off from Vietnam headed to Dubai when something happened.
In the article, it also mentioned a similar problem encountered by MH132 on Dec 24. I found an updated article on this.

Instead, the plane flew south directly toward the internationally recognized aviation navigational waypoint known as IGARI, between Vietnam and Malaysia — the exact point where, 22 months earlier almost to the day, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 took its own shocking turn off course, cutting off all ground communication.

Ok...that's just plain (hehe pun intended) weird...and kinda scary!
So TWO planes have headed towards that exact checkpoint since the disappearance of MH370?

Have to wonder why.

I still think it was a cloaking test, something to do with the employees on board and what they were involved in. You know the stealthing radar part etc. I have always thought this....a test run..no survivors needed.

I'm sorry, I'm not following you? ^^^

What do you mean by 'cloaking test'?

Thanks.

It was talked about a lot at the beginning the free scale employees who were on the plane and what their work was etc. I did PM you about it.

  • #1,254
Oh yes...I forgot about the FreeScale employees who were on board!
Tons of speculation in the earlier threads about them/their work.
IMO, though, they had nothing to do with the plane's disappearance.

I still feel this was a terrorist attack.
Except no terror group has stepped up and said it was them...unless the attack didn't go as planned and no one wants to claim responsibility for that.

I don't know if you would find many people prepared to die for their job but I respect your any everybody's opinions any discussion is appreciated. Sadly I think this is one case that will never be solved I never thought this case would turn out to be such a mystery when starting the initial thread. It's tragic 239 families still have no answers and cannot grieve properly.

I go back and forth between terrorist attack and just plane malfunction. I do feel there was a fire as witnessed by Kate. If a terrorist attack, I wonder if it was directed at the Free Scale employees since there was way too many of them for it not to be considered (IMO).

I do hope that they go over the data to see if they did miss the plane. I know how I feel, I can't imagine having a relative on the flight. The incompetence of the Malaysians when the plane disappeared still floors me.

Me too...I go back and forth as well.
One day, I say terrorists, the next I say plane malfunction.
Maybe one day we will get answers!

I hope they find the plane soon so that we can! I'm not sure how much of the flight would be on the black boxes, hopefully all of it!
