Man seen carrying diaper clad baby

  • #261
I did too but I can not say word for word what was said. I do remember they showed a man with his back to the camera by a car and I assumed it was her husband. It might have been labeled raw video.

That's the video I saw too. I remember her husband told her she should could the police and she decided not to. And I wondered why in the world he would tell her to. I mean you either call or you don't... but if HE saw it, which was the impression I was taking from the video, then HE should be the one to determine and decide if it is worth repeating.

In this video, it is the reporter stating that the woman's husband was going to work, however, the woman didn't state anything at all about it.

In this video, around 1:50, the neighbor doesn't say anything about her husband going to work etc.

Is there a video of the woman saying herself her husband was going to work or coming home from work?

I have issues with reporters stating what others are saying.

I say the media knows just what they are doing and are downplaying the sightings of the guy with the baby because if this was baby Lisa the story would die.

This is a big story because of the mother period.

WE need to find that video.

Walking/standing at a busy intersection with a baby clad only in a diaper in very chilly weather.............................he must have wanted to be noticed then......

I remember reading that the weather there had been unseasonably warm when Lisa disappeared... but, carrying the baby, without making any effort to hide the baby,or cover the baby, is not what one would expect,if this man had Lisa with him...MOO

I didn't ever hear his race until this morning, but there are two articles posted about the woman/husband sighting at midnight that the man was African American. I didn't hear the woman say that in her videos. The baby looked like Lisa, which would mean it was a white baby - she's as white as babies get.

I had posted this link back on page 1 of the media link thread. It was the first and only report I saw that stated the man was African American. Note this article does NOT have a direct statement OR a video of the person saying that it is only in the reporter's article.

I saw a much different video on the first day, same woman. I think the media has edited the original interview and the one online now is not the one I remember. The first one I saw the woman said her husband was going to work, then came home and told her about it and "they" couldn't decide whether to call police or not. It was very early on Oct 4th and the coverage was live (I believe).
It stuck out to me because I thought it odd that the husband was on his way to work, but apparently went home to discuss with wife.

Here is the full original interview with the neighbor

the interview was on the 4th of Oct.

I'm starting to think that the voiceover "reporters" are just doing a speaking job and weren't always the one who actually did the interview. Thus all the mistakes- it's easier to misinterpret 2nd hand info.

The woman explains it as her husband who saw the man with the baby, not her and her husband like she says in the interview today.

this is the full 1st interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0ueuIH63G8&feature=youtu.be

I guess none of the homes on this street have security cameras? It would be worth a shot to find out if they did, and if this person who had the child, appeared on their tapes. However, I'm quite sure that LE has thought of this and has checked that possibility out already.

The witnesses described seeing arms and legs - when I picture what that must have looked like, in the glare of headlights, it seems Lisa would almost look like dayglo white. To me, IDing the race of the adult might be a little harder - if it's a light skinned black man he might actually be Native American or Mexican, Asian, Indian, or very tan caucasian. (Obviously a very dark Black man would be easier to ID)

I wonder what kind of street lighting there is. I've noticed that it is difficult for me to distinguish any colors if the street lighting has an orange glare.

The adult's face is probably easier to see than the baby's when he's walking upright. Depending on how the baby is carried you might not see the face at all.

The motorcycle man indicated that he thought the baby resembled Lisa so much it could be the same baby. I wish they'd asked him in which position the baby was carried.

And that's sad.

Maybe this explains why DB keeps throwing herself under the bus. Every bit of "mama done it" came from her mouth. Maybe she thinks if it gets controversial more people will watch (liek CA), and there will be more pressure to do a good investigation.

I don't really believe that, but it sounds good in my head.

he had to think about that question though, and when commenting on similarities he said "same age, same size" so I imagine his conviction comes from deductive reasoning rather than "it's either Lisa's face or her long lost twin" sort of visual confirmation.

My heart is breaking to think of Little Lisa out there with a strange man and barely any clothes on. Even if it isn't little Lisa, that poor baby whoever she is!!

BBM: but what if this man was mentally challenged?

There's an article posted a page ago, bolded in red, stating LE has not discounted these tips and will be investigating. Published today.

Funny, they've had ALL this information by about the 11th of October - they've interviewed the witnesses - why sit on it if they've not discounted it? Why does it take going to the media to make LE take this a little more seriously? This is EXACTLY the type thing the public is so good at - confirming that yes they saw the man or they were driving through the area right then and saw nothing. OR, of course, hey that was me and here's the baby that's not Lisa.

Would have thought that LE would have requested in one of their press conferences that anyone seeing a man walking with a baby around these 2 times and 2 locations to come forward.

Also I wonder if LE has done any ground searches near the 2nd sighting location which from the reports is 3 miles from the 1st.

I still think they are all looking for their 15 minutes. Lets just hope that whoever it might have been walking down the roads at that time of night comes forward even if they dont have a child and says, " I was walking from so and so's house that night", "You are more than welcome to check me out in case it was me that someone saw". Once again, people need to be proactive and get involved. The more people they can clear the better off we will be and the closer we will get to finding Lisa IMO. I feel like we are never going to find this baby and it breaks my heart. It really does.

Thanks uvamerica.
This was from the evening news. Elizabeth Alex (the lead-in) is only on at 6pm. There was an interview earlier in the day with the same neighbor that was longer. I think the online releases are edited. I haven't been able to find the longer interview.
