Sadly, there is a major outbreak at this nursing home in Bobcaygeon Ontario (Canada). A significant minority of the staff are infected (40%?), and 9 residents have died. This is a town of only 3500. (My brother and his wife just bought an Inn there less than a year ago. They are devastated.)

A family is mourning the death of Vinnie Coons, 27.

Vinnie’s brother said when Vinnie showed symptoms of COVID-19, he called a doctor who told him not to come in and to self-isolate. Vinnie’s doctor did not direct Vinnie to get tested. His family said Vinnie was symptomatic for about nine days before his death on Saturday.

A 'fit and healthy' nurse on the frontline of the battle against coronavirus has died.

Areema Nasreen, 36, tested positive for the virus after developing a soaring temperature, body aches and a cough.

The mother-of-three, who had no underlying health conditions and had worked for the NHS for 16 years, was taken to Walsall Manor Hospital in the West Midlands after her condition worsened.

She was put on a ventilator in intensive care - being cared for by the medics she usually works alongside.

The 36-year-old mother, identified only as Galina, is said to have been infected with the virus at a perinatal centre in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, in western Ukraine.
