Aah. Wish I came back earlier and saw that post! I've been searching for hours for updates.

I'm not seeing any tweets or media updates though, and there was someone asking at court chatter earlier about what happened to the feed. So maybe the hearing didn't take place after all? Or has someone here seen something?

Donna Scrivo, 60, appeared in court Friday, where attorneys said psychological evaluations deemed her mentally competent. She waived a District Court hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to send the case to trial...

The next hearing is scheduled Sept. 22 in Macomb County Circuit Court.

Donna Scrivo’s attorney, Elias Muawad, said Friday following a court hearing that while his client is sometimes depressed, she is “adamant” about her innocence.

“She denies she killed her son and is ready to prepare to go to trial,” Muwaud said, noting that she told police she was not involved in killing her son.

Donna Scrivo will get a court-appointed attorney after Elias Muawad withdrew as Scrivo's counsel today...

Muawad said he was retained by Scrivo following her district court arraignment. He said Scrivo no longer has funds to continue to retain experts for her defense.

The hearing hadn't concluded as of 3 p.m. Monday and is scheduled to resume at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 9 with testimony from the medical examiner and other law enforcement.

There were seven bags of body parts, containing a dozen different specimens of Ramsay Scrivo's body.

His remains were carved away with a saw. Some had charring. Though some of his organs, including his heart, were found with his remains, his right arm was not.

That was just some of the gruesome details that came out in testimony today by Macomb County Medical Examiner Daniel Spitz during a preliminary court examination for Scrivo's mother, Donna, who accused of killing her adult son and sawing apart his body with a circular saw. His remains were left in plastic bags scattered across rural St. Clair County last January, found days after his mother reported him missing in St. Clair Shores.......
