One thing that bugs me about chain convenience stores - they can build them and have them functioning in about 8 weeks. I do not know the frequency that MSN updates their super pages data base - we could be off .

That's the one thanks RC. The city the medical center is in is Duffield so my understanding from that article gives no idea of an exact location for Jason's business in relation to it. He could've used a conference room in his hotel for all we know. We do know he got gas near there though.

Hi Otto, I did think about that and then thought I remembered the step father was so mad at LE for taking their belongings and thought that is when he told JY to get a lawyer. I don't know, and think I will go find that link agtain to see what he really said. Good thought though and they could have hired him on the 2nd. Did we ever hear exactly when?

I had it in my mind that the decision to lawyer up was made on the 5 hour drive home. Jason already had made up his mind (or his lawyer or father did) that he wasn't going to speak with the police any more than the 15 minute conversation at 3 in the afternoon (probably informing Jason of his wife's murder). He clearly didn't speak to the police on the scene ... according to reports.

I remember all that Otto. I also speculated on whether he left that luggage at his parents house as well as a laptop.
The laptop mystery is solved now where is the luggage and how much did he take? Make that originally and what if any returned to Raleigh with him?

Fussell was the one who mentioned the luggage and I read it at CTV as soon as the friends started posting there. I think it was someone with the nik and initials CC that said that. JTF mentioned the 11pm phone call to Michelle. Rumors of divorce and possible marital problems were mentioned by several friends, and I don't think anyone but JTF said they had a happy marriage.

One reason I can think of why a woman would leave a marriage behind her is if he was not sexually faithful to her.

A pregnant woman will consider her options and being on her own, pregnant, 2 year old, lots of responsibilities and so on, I think most women will opt for waiting until after the baby is born to make a major decision to dissolve the marriage, but that's just my opinion.

Could be, sure. The MC is in Duffield according to the article and that and the gas station on hwy. 58. Seems logical to me if he's trying to sell them software and according to that article they have high technology internet mentioned he'd be going to that medical center for the meeting.

I had a bit of trouble with this as well - why would there be a meeting in a building that was scheduled to be totally redone - HMG ( Holston Medical Group) actually has its business offices located in Kingsport (there are of course Hampton Inns in Kingsport).

I think this may be a more likely location, however if ChartOne was going to bid on this - of course a look at the facility might be in order when you think about it. Then I ask myself why would anyone head west on 58 to buy gas out of town when it is pretty much the opposite direction of going to Brevard ? hmmmm....this is why I wonder if the fill up at a Get it Market might have actually been one in TN unless there is a new store in Duffield itself? More questions arise...:bang:

That makes sense ... that he had a whole bunch of luggage and left it in Brevard because after the news of Michelle's death, he knew he would need some help with Cassidy and decided to stay with his parents for a while. That would also mean that friends were at the house when Jason left and means he left close to 8:30.

You are probably right Otto. In fact, I don't remember any statement in a link that JY actually went over to his house when he was in Raleigh. Just that he went to Michelle's grave either Thurs or Fri after her funeral. I've been looking for a link to this with no luck so far, but just read a post at
CTV where a poster also thought it was after his luggage was seized the S-F hired a lawyer.

I can't believe we are only 2 months into this case. Doesn't it seem like it has been open a lot longer? Probably cause Nov seems an age away to me now. LOL

If Jason checked into a hotel 3 hours away, I have a hard time believing that he checked in just before midnight, then drove 3 hours back home, committed the perfect murder, got back in his car, drove 3 hours back to the hotel, made an appearance to perfect his alibi, went to a meeting 2 hours away, then drove 2-3 hours to his parents house, then drove the 5 hours back home. It's wild! Even with amazing stamina, this is really pushing the limits of what is really possible.

i just called the Get It Market on Hwy 58 & the girl said she didn't know the actual address there?????....she said it's just listed as HWY 58...
