Anybody remember what the SC thing was about? In the beginning someone on ctv I think posted that's where his business meeting was. Taking the h as a m for hampton motel I found a Hampton SC. also last night and that is way far away down by Georgia. I'm just wondering about the other state if not NY because I do remember some discussion about SC early on. Then there's Denver is that accounted for RC? Would they go there?

i can't say i remember anything about SC being mentioned, but there's several things that i've apparently missed....

If Jason checked into a hotel 3 hours away, I have a hard time believing that he checked in just before midnight, then drove 3 hours back home, committed the perfect murder, got back in his car, drove 3 hours back to the hotel, made an appearance to perfect his alibi, went to a meeting 2 hours away, then drove 2-3 hours to his parents house, then drove the 5 hours back home. It's wild! Even with amazing stamina, this is really pushing the limits of what is really possible.

That's why I said earlier that when he dropped plumb to his knees at his parents house it was out of exhaustion.

And just one point - we've read that his brother-in-law drove JYs vehicle back to Raleigh. JY was probably sleeping in the back!

heck yeah jilly.....i'd be willing to bet that JY got zero sleep that night ....i'll even go as far as to say he probably looked 'rough' at the "meeting" too...

Yes Otto, I agree it would be great if he didn't do this. I've read so many stories and seen enough crime shows that I can get into the head of a murderer - I think In domestic murders I've learned they never seem to look like our idea of a killer!

If you post with Ihadcabinfever you will quickly learn there is a crazed killer roaming the freeways on the east coast, killing young women. But he doesn't go into homes.

Remember JTF's post coming back to clear up all the wrong info. She/he said it was a burglary as there were things missing from the home. I might bring that post back over for us to see if there is anything there we might have missed.

My7 other thought is by the time of the funeral, if it was JY he would be in the mode to throw people off looking at him as a suspect. I wonder if what he told Fussell was the truth. I know JTF said they were happily married and yet I read on another site they did a lot of fighting. All interesting because we know so little.

I'm at the point where I'm forgetting particulars too and have to go back and refresh.

Sleeping after learning that a loved one is murdered would be a very strange thing to do, I think, but it certainly provides Jason with some time to sleep and if he is guilty, he certainly would have needed sleep.

Close - did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, if JY was in that vehicle when it arrived at MF's, the police were watching exactly how he interacted with Meredith ? It may have been very telling in reality...JMO

i had never even thought about this, until today....but yep, IF JY was the one to go over the MF's house, then i'm SURE LE listened to/watched him very closely.....i have a feeling that one of the other family members went to get her though...(unless we hear otherwise)....i'm sure JY was just too distraught to have to deal w/it, ya know???

i had never even thought about this, until today....but yep, IF JY was the one to go over the MF's house, then i'm SURE LE listened to/watched him very closely.....i have a feeling that one of the other family members went to get her though...(unless we hear otherwise)....i'm sure JY was just too distraught to have to deal w/it, ya know???

Absolutely! Only a guilty man would send someone else, imo. And who knows how well she even knew all these relatives? That could be very traumatic for the little girl. Trauma on top of trauma. Cruel.

If he had a black eye or cut head whatever he wouldn't want them to notice any injuries. Bothers me that the sheriff said he only talked to Jason on the phone so it's hard to imagine them taking his SUV, phones etc. and he doesn't say a word? They took pics at the funeral of cars, maybe other stuff and people too and he still hasn't talked to anybody in LE at any of those encounters and then there's a warrant for the fingerprints and dna etc?

It could be there was some fire there. I just reread Just The Facts 2nd post, and she did have a key to the house, spent a lot of time there, and she not only was nanny to Cassidy but caregiver for the dog. They must know each other quite well.

Friends say he was unfaithful and not just once. I think he was entering male menopause early in life, and fantacized himself as God's gift to manhood. Meredith was probably fun to be around, and so it could be. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

It could be there was some fire there. I just reread Just The Facts 2nd post, and she did have a key to the house, spent a lot of time there, and she not only was nanny to Cassidy but caregiver for the dog. They must know each other quite well.

Well, I certainly didn't mean it that way. I can't say it is not possible after the gf was found to be a sorority sister but I really have doubts about that one. I was thinking more along the lines of MF having a good knowledge of the marriage and if it was troubled she could have suspicions, especially being called in by him to get the faxwhatever. He could have felt set up by her if the place was crawling with cops and then been angry for having his vehicle detained.

At that time LE knew he was supposedly out of town - why would they be scrutinizing his vehicle to such a degree to find two drops of something is what I am asking myself. I think he was at MF's JMO.

There was a rumour (don't know where it originated) that was brought here about Michelle's friend saying something about Jason leaving with 2-3 pieces of luggage. This, I believe, was the beginning of theories about the marriage being on the rocks and Michelle likely leaving Jason. Personally, it would surprise me if a pregnant woman with a 2 year old would want to dissolve the marriage. If there was a marital problem, it's more likely that they would want to work through it for the sake of the children or at least wait until after the birth of the child to see if things sorted themselves out.

That's because you aren't a independant, able bodied self supporting woman who may be fed up and disgusted with her husbands affairs. Straw to break the camels back is another affair with a long time friend and while she's pregnant no less. There is the possibility that Michele got pregnant to try and save her marriage or more likely to me he was a sperm donor to her at that point because she wanted another baby and knew he would screw up again. He gives her what she wants and then she's gonna divorce him and get half of everything and support for two kids now instead of one.
