o god this is a bit nerve wracking to watch. (In Tobin's head "don't screw this up" don't mention test results" "don't screw this up"

unfortunately they often do not...things are held back for legal reasons...always bothers me but that is what happens in courtrooms...it often leads to a verdict that may not be justice.

I completely agree. Legal rules drive me crazy at times. It almost makes me wish that jurors would watch the news to get a broader picture of what’s happening. (Not that the news isn’t full of disinformation...)

At any rate, DC held him down next to the tailpipe, so even if a juror gives CO undue weight regarding death, DC is still the one who forced GF’s face toward it.

Pulmonologist & critical care Dr. Tobin just sworn in. Blackwell is reintroducing him to jurors.

Blackwell asks if Dr. Tobin heard Dr. Fowler’s testimony yesterday.

Blackwell asks if he agrees w/the highlighted portion in this image. Dr. Tobin says he does not.

JB: Would you tell the ladies and gentlemen, why that statement is not reliable?
DT: I base it on the arterial blood gas that was obtained when Mr. Floyd was in Hennepin County…

Nelson objected. Now in a sidebar.

This is like watching someone walking on a tightrope over the grand canyon.

My anxiety just went through the roof. Would the judge have declared a mistrial at that point? Or would he continue THEN do a mistrial?

Blackwell should not be handling this, Schleicher should. JMO, he has more finesse and I think he is better suited to walking the very thin line prosecution is faced with right now.

hemoglobin oxygen was at 98%
the maximum of other gases could be 2%

Yes. I agree. Blackwell is determined to bring in that new evidence. And it’s going to ruin this whole thing!

Tobin provides some of the research that Fowler states didn't exist.
