Did you then proceed to city hall

Right after that I notified the mayor. I went them to my office at city hall

Do you recall seeing any images or video

The first time I saw a video is after I was notified that gf was deceased. I asked him to pull up that videotape so I could review

I watched it. When I first vowed this milestone video. What I was able to see Tom a distance. All I could see was he backs and no audio. I viewed in its entirely. Nothing in the actions that jumped out at me. After a few mins. The paramedics placed him on the gurney

I think the defense is doing a remarkable job thus far with prosecution witnesses - seems all we have from the prosecution is emotion based opinions and more opinions on policing

@Linda7NJ, No_Si, Iluv mua, Magnolia, BayouBelle La, Ruth Bulll0ck, MsBetsy, Ranch..

I too think that the defense is doing a remarkable job as this posts states.. as the saying goes... they only have what they have to work with.

Yet I will disagree with "seems all we have from the prosecutions is emotion based opinions and more opinions on policing"

Last week, the prosecution put up facts, put up video.. so that we can see for ourselves the situation.

.. yes they were emotional... but they were facts. MOO

The prosecution 100% have him on negligence but is he even charged with that? Reckless indifference to human life needs to be proven which so far it has been evidenced by the negligence and now not following policy for what to do with a person in crisis, however is the negligence classed as an action or inaction? Failure to render appropriate medical aid yes. Murder? I’m not sure yet...

3rd degree murder is "depraved heart" murder when a person has done something that results in death where they have not shown regard for human life

From media thread, cut/paste here as I always had though asphyxia was due to windpipe:

"MEDCRAM video on Floyd autopsy -

Just came across this in feed. Dr. Hansen is with MedCram, one of the two sites (other is Dr. Campbell) that we at WS have followed for science on the COVID thread. They give videos that a "normal lay person" can gain knowledge from vs. speaking to other scientists/doctors.

I learned sooooooo much from this video, so sharing here knowing he is approved by WS. e.g. asphyxia isn't just lungs breathing, it's medical terminology is also "no oxygen to the brain". He also goes into compression and positional asphyxia, how there may not be postmortem signs (e.g. bruising) for such. Also, most deaths have multifacted reasons not just one. Who knew?

Close to midnight. Chief have you see the video of your officer choking and killing that man. I just knew it wasn’t the same video I saw

Few minutes I saw the bystander video. I was able to see the occurrence. See the officers involved. I was able to hear. I was also able to get a better judgement of length of time

Reviewed all footage

Witness: yes I have

First i any toshow you ex 17 image taken from bystander video

Do you believe defendant followed de-escalation

I absolutely do not

Is this a MPd technique

Witness: No it is not

Policy mentions light to moderate pressure. That does not appear in any way or form to be that

Does that violate policy

Witness: Yes it does

Even if a car was not running that exhaust pipe is just the end of an entire exhaust system where gases would be diffusing out as the manifold and pipe are hot even with a vehicle turned off. Even the residue left on an exhaust pipe is gross. I have never laid any patient by an exhaust pipe that i remember, especially anyone who states one time "I have trouble breathing". Same thing by the ambulance exhaust. Load them asap. Especially by a diesel engine. His head was so close to that pipe.

George Floyd’s facial expression is not evidence

he was screaming and looked worse before anyone put a hand or knee on him -

Ex 17
Witness:
It has to be objectively reasonable. That is not what we teach. That should be condoned

View when it should be stopped

Witness:
Once gf had stopped resisting. And certainly when he verbalise he was struggling. Once there was no longer resisting and once he was even motionless. To continue to apply that level of force to a person probed out and in handvuffef and that is in no way shape part of our training, ethics and values

Yes it does

you have no way of knowing the amount of force deployed - none

There are so many huge errors as regarding basic standard care in today's testimony.

I was aware officers were not able to find pulse
Did you see any of the defendants try to apply first aid

Witness: No I did not

Sustained

Defendant violated policy in regards to rendering aid

Can just anticipate Nelson's cross now. "When was the last time you had to detain someone", "Your job is just a desk job now correct?" - he has to be careful though - the jury is going to like this witness I think. Trying to discredited anything he says is going to be very difficult.

Ha! You called it.

Nelson asked re policies

When was last time you actually arrested suspect

Witness. It’s been many years

Link to video, please. Respectfully, I have watched video from the officer’s approach to his vehicle and what you say is not accurate.

General in a sense. Formulating plan for your police dept

When you talk about trainng you may go to other trainings

Witness: yes

Am I correct understanding he originally watched police footage, in which he didn’t see a “issue?” It wasn’t until he was notified of a witness’ video which was sweeping the nation that he “saw” the situation differently?
