I did think about this, but the issue is that wallet is now forever tainted. It will be monitored and each withdrawal/transfer will be closely scrutinized for the rest of your life.
One would theoretically want to move everything out of the wallet as quickly as possible to somewhere as secure and anonymous as possible. That’s where the big issues come in.
I hope they’ve investigated the man that has seemingly showed up to the scene twice (correct me if I’m mistake ). He said he lives 15 minutes or miles away. Really wanted to direct blame to the SIL. I think he was in both the sisters neighborhood and Mrs. Guthrie’s neighborhood.
Sorry if I'm being thick, but has this been analyzed on here? Trying to keep up. I think that has major relevance if the case - so he had the backpack/gun at one point in time on the front porch and then in another point in time did not? I can't even start to know why that's the case but it seems like it would be relevant. Did he leave the backpack and gun inside? In the getaway car? Why did he take them off?I think it's from a different time period. The FBI said it was of "the individual." So it must have been before and not after, because he disabled the camera before the crime.
I sort of thought that before, but I think that would be too risky for the original perp - bringing in a third party/more people which is risky if they are caught or if they give away the crime for a plea deal, etc. I mean it's still possible, it just doesn't seem smartI am beginning to think this was never a kidnapping. The person on camera was hired to clean up the crime scene and perhaps dispose of the body, and Nancy was murdered before his arrival. I won’t speculate on the murderer, though. I think we all have our thoughts, and that is enough. Still doesn’t explain the Apple Watch sync, if it happened earlier in the night, though. The kidnapping theory has just gotten weird and is going in too many insane directions.
I also want to note that individuals with mental illnesses are much more likely to be victims of violent crime than perpetrators of violent crime.True. But, IMO there are cases where the perp was deemed mentally ill/psychotic, but still carried out a planned a targeted attack (like Holmes, the theater killer, for instance).
How can LE rule out an inside job when they have no clue who took her??That's the part I've been thinking of since I heard it. Since an inside job has not been ruled out by LE officially (or has it? Correct me if I am wrong here). But the what if. What is someone DOES or SHOULD recognize the person, but says the don't? That would mean horrific things.
John Wick does it all the time.Sorry if I'm being thick, but has this been analyzed on here? Trying to keep up. The way they usually rule out suspects, I suppose...JMOHow can LE rule out an inside job when they have no clue who took her??
Yeah I definitely agree, very risky. The reward would have to heavily outweigh the risk, which doesn't track and highly doubtful.Sorry if I'm being thick, but has this been analyzed on here? That man has been released. Catch up!
I'm wondering if there's someone like that in the family. I've been thinking of the Reiner situation. The young adult with problems. That person on the porch acts like he belongs there. I also think they might be intoxicated on some kind of downer. Maybe they've been accustomed to family bailing them out. Maybe they think, or know, that NG keeps pain killers or cash in that house.Which leaves me wondering if NG did any volunteer work or befriended a young man in the neighborhood who was challenged.
Agreed.I also want to note that individuals with mental illnesses are much more likely to be victims of violent crime than perpetrators of violent crime.
That's how a lot of people get caught. Either Walmart or Home Depo! What if this guy just grabbed gloves from his doctors or dentists' office? There are boxes of them everywhere in medical offices.
Or, at a restaurant, if he works in one? When I worked in a restaurant we had a storage basement with no cameras and would go down there all the time to get stuff. No one would notice if I took one box (or one pair, for that matter) of the many boxes of gloves.
The backpack is from one of the largest retailers in the US. He could have had it for 15 years.
I just am highly skeptical that the clothing/gloves/bag, which are all incredibly generic, will lead to an ID. Not to criticize those looking into those things! I'm glad people are and it would seem irresponsible for LE not to. I just think if I were to commit a crime I wouldn't go into my local Walmart to buy all the supplies a few weeks before... MOO
I’m worried that the perp is now terrified of the very real possibility of being identified and will do something rash. Then make a break for the borderI am worried that with all of the attention on this case, more innocent people will be arrested.
There is so much attention and manpower being spent on the case.
Well, given that they’ve already detained the wrong suspect, I don’t think skepticism is out of line..The way they usually rule out suspects, I suppose...JMO
