Nancy's house now.
This picture actually makes me so sad. That tent should have been up since day 1. Aside from protecting the scene, it helps communicate a back off to media and lookers. Unless their goal was really to see if any suspect returned to the scene, what was the harm of treating it like a crime scene while the case is so ongoing? No one else lives in the house. No one else needs to get personal belongings or needs a place to sleep. I don't know enough about preserving crime scenes, but when you have a victim still missing, I just don't understand what the rush to turn the house back over almost immediately was.

Ok but if they're checking for DNA at front door, other people have been to the door - Brian Entin was. What about the pizza delivery recently? How would they even know it's the nappers DNA with the traffic that has been up there?!
Yes, the crime scene really was contaminated so that's a worry.

Has anyone here compared the single photo of suspect without the backpack and holster to the videos and still of them wearing both? The shoes look a bit different. It almost seems like there’s a black strip on the shoes of the suspect without the backpack that I don’t seem to notice on the suspect that actually walks up to the door.
Hmm could that be from the other date LE is asking about

They have to try. I suppose they'll check any DNA against the CODIS database and check out any matches. It would be simple to rule out BE and the pizza guy.

They may find Brian Entin's. That crime scene shouldn't have been released so soon especially when Sheriff Nanos said they were still working on trying to recover the nest cam videos.
But it cant hurt to try and see if there is anything that can stand out. I imagine there is a ton between family, reporters, LE and also workers ...

I'm not sure about that guy they arrested either..there is more to the story about him in terms of being turned in by his mother or whatever it was and his background and the delivery situation. Hopefully they got DNA from him someway, during the interview.

it just seems like the are doing everything in reverse and it's really weird. mOO

I also think it’s strange they had enough for warrants, sending SWAT, etc and released him after a couple hours? Even if he had an airtight alibi, you think they’d want to check it. I imagine that would take a bit of time.

I saw someone else suggest maybe they let him go to see if he would lead them to more evidence? Maybe. Or maybe his role was smaller than others and he quickly agreed to be a CI? Seems far fetched but I really can’t figure out why they would release him so quickly.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's not necessary or helpful to respond to every comment re-stating the same thing. This thread is already fast moving.
Thanks I'm new at this

Maybe they are setting up a replica camera in the same spot and filming someone with known measurements to try to hone in on better height estimate for the mask guy. Like establishing a baseline.

Great thinking. They now have the video of the suspect at NG home. At that front door. This is a treasure trove of information they just got this week. I also suspect (like many) that what the FBI has from the extracted video was not all released to the public. IMO

This person has clearly never walked along the side of the road, or anywhere, lol. I walk past shoes, pants, jackets, underwear, shirts, socks, gloves, hats, and everything you can think of on my walk home from work. I always have questions, but I never get answers from the universe.
When the kids were little and we spotted items (all the time!) on walks, we made up stories about how the things were lost. It was an ongoing story for years on end.

Finding one single shoe is always a curiosity.

Possibly. Didn’t even think about that. The shoes definitely look a bit different to me.

Swabbing the floor for DNA in the exact sample places where the perpetrator was seen walking on in the video!
Perfect, environmental DNA from every rando who has walked on to that porch will either be found or the eDNA left by the perpetrator 11 days ago has now quite possibly has fully degraded only lasting days to possibly weeks. That won't taint a prosecution. IMO

Wondering if AB's source's opinion has changed now. 🤔

How irresponsible for one to leak possible POI / Prime suspects BEFORE authorities decide to do so publicly.

apparently they haven't really cleared him per se but who knows at this point if that is just poor communication at this point. Now it is seeming less and less likely to be him given the information even publicly known

Can anyone tell me where to find the WS list of approved sources? Or a list of those that aren’t approved or some guidance on what is allowed besides main stream media? I keep seeing people in this thread post a caution to them that their source is not allowed and the only thing I’ve found is places that say only MSM are approved sources but then I see posts using other true crime sources that I wouldn’t consider MSM that don’t seem to get that caution. I know Tricia is friend with and often has other true crime hosts on the live broadcasts so I’m guessing those would be allowed as sources but just wondering if there is an actual list that we can review when we’re unsure if it is approved. TIA
