You can see the Ozark Trail logo on the backpack in some of NG’s nest footage. That logo is missing from both of these backpacks. Additionally this guy’s jacket has a hood that is not present on the coat seen on the Nest footage either.

Sorry to be annoying but can you screenshot where in the TMZ video footage we get a clear shot of the spot on BOTH of the backpacks where the Ozark Trail logo would be? I tried watching it/pausing the video multiple times before and wasn't able to sufficiently tell, specifically on the hoisted backpack.

Re: the jacket, I think this would be another guy involved, not the guy in the Nest footage, IMO, based on what I posted about the FBI saying there are likely multiple accomplices, and the fact that the guy in the Nest footage does not have a backpack on in some of the footage.

Sadly, I don't think she will either. There's no incentive to give up the body, even if the family pays. No matter how careful a criminal is, there's always a chance evidence was left behind at the dump site. Hair, fibers, footprints, tire tracks, DNA, etc. The more contact they have with the media and law enforcement, the greater the chance they'll be caught. They're gone.

1. Struggle prior to securing her in body bag. The suspect went up to the front door with steel welded security door, brandishing what looks to be a firearm. He may have threatened her to come out and a startled elderly lady may have panicked and complied, opened the door and struggle ensued.

2. Body bag rips as he drags her, leaves trail of blood drops. (more likely due to the blood trail). We're talking about a guy who buys a $15 backpack for his "kit". Any body bag or tarp probably wouldn't be a premium investment and low quality thrown together like everything else.

This was not an abduction, IMO. It was likely a planned murder or intrusion gone bad for an unknown reason.

Either way, sadly I suspect NG died 2/1 early AM as I opined up thread. And porch-guy-fixer's job was to get rid of her body with stuff in his backpack.

Maybe there was a sick or evil plan that would ensure her kids would never know where their Mother ended up. Torture.

Nancy was likely killed the first night, dumped( very sorry) in the desert outside of town.
Why is the question, who would want her gone.

I speculated earlier in thread, NG saw something, maybe as simple as drugs in a workers trunk (his moonlighting job), he was at her house working on a job, maybe the roof. Maybe she even said “ is that drugs?”, he waved it off, “no worries, just materials for a job”, closed trunk.
Later, The person decided it was too big a threat to have her live, she might turn him in.

Just another idea to think about, JMO.

They’ve also offered a $50k reward. One bitcoin is roughly $67k. They aren’t going to do the right thing over $17k?! Honestly, tell what you know and then get a reward, period. If they start giving money to any random person, who claims they know something about a case, it will set a huge precedent for the future.

Also, I’m somewhat surprised that the family hasn’t added to the reward. It’s only at $50k. You would think they would, but that’s just my two cents.

I find this strange as well. One the one hand, they're looking at paying a multi-million dollar ransom. On the other, there is a 50K reward on offer for her return. I'd think I'd go with a few hundred thousand as a motivator for info myself.

Occupational hearing loss is often in one ear only. Age related hearing loss (presbycusis) is usually in both ears but is seldom identical. Most people who experience hearing loss have one ear that is their “good” ear even if experiencing some degree of hearing loss in that ear. Usually they will use a hearing aid in only the ear that has the larger degree of hearing loss, although some people do prefer hearing aids in both ears. Individual preference.

As a severely hearing impaired person, it depends on the degree of decibel loss. I used to have a good ear lol. Now, I don’t. I'm way past one hearing device. I use 2 when I wear them.

Apologies if this has been answered here, but regarding the news that the blood on the porch likely indicates that she was bleeding from "either her hands or face". How would they know this? A poster upthread thought they'd read that the blood had been aspirated, but how does that track with bleeding from the hands. Can anyone shed light on this? TIA!

Looking in my garage right now:

-roll of painters plastic sheet 3mil 10x100 feet
-10x12, 10x20, and larger plastic tarps
-numerous large drop cloths including poly
-contractor grade 60 gallon garbage bags 4-5 mil heavy duty
- plastic mattress bags and furniture covers
- old vinyl shower curtains (use them as drop cloths or to drag field dressed deer)

Any contractor/landscaper or even low end day laborer could throw something together,

I think the bag was full because of rope, gag, body bag, to get her out of the house more easily.
I’ve moved away from the ransom/ kidnapper theory. I think the ransom people were just opportunists. No proof of life, etc.
I think, someone wanted her gone, ( dead, sorry) but why?

What do you make of the ransom author saying per Harvey Levin that Nancy's watch was at the foot of a bed?

Unless LE can pinpoint that NG hand or face blood is from early AM 2/1, then as I've suggested ^, I wonder if that was blood from an everyday bleed for an 84 year old likely on an anti-coagulent (my suspicion per recent pics).

She could have had a bleed that started when she got out of a car in her driveway - maybe caught her hand on something... or maybe her return from her mailbox where she bumped her had.

Then in this scenario, when she stopped at the door to get in (get keys?), she would have dropped a concentration of blood, likely from her hand. IMO.
