There is a slightly positive explanation if AG is involved. What if AG and her husband were resentful that they had responsibility for her old mom while SG was free and rich and famous. They may have felt they were owed something in that scenario. A part of SG’s fortune as ransom. In this scenario, NG is alive - they are just hiding her to make it look like a kidnapping. They may not have expected this case to blow up like it has. If AG is involved, I hope it is something like this and NG is recovered alive.

I think unlikely NG is alive, but just my opinion. Family dynamics can be difficult in a lot of families. Sibling envy and resentment may be real; parents may cover up a child's actions; there may be a ton of elements not applicable to this case; or possibly relevant. Just speculating and MOO.

The door camera went out? I thought it just didn’t save anything because she didn’t have a subscription. It noted movement at a certain time.

The watch was charging in her bedroom. It was connected via Bluetooth to her pacemaker. After about 30 feet, Bluetooth drops out, so as NG was removed from her house, her pacemakers connection to her watched disappeared/dropped

Searching AG’s house could simply mean it’s the most important location for reconstructing the timeline and finding physical/digital evidence not because NG died there or anyone who lives there is guilty of her disappearance.

Yes it was the last location where she was seen by multiple witnesses. It is only logical that the area be examined?

I have been asking the same question. Do we have proof NG actually came home that night? Did she leave the house of her daughter and SIL??
Could any evidence at her have been staged after a possible crime at another location?

Meaning that they staged it using her blood pouring it in the house and outside the door?

The signal from the pacemaker syncing with her phone and/or watch at 2am just means she was alive at that time. Nothing indicates she was home at that time. The phone and watch that were left behind could have been placed in the home anytime after that, up until family arrived the following day at 11-something in the morning.

Doesn't mean she was alive, does it? All the timeline says is that "Sixteen minutes later, at 2:28 a.m., Guthrie’s pacemaker app showed it had disconnected from her phone." Wouldn't this indicate that she was taken away from her phone at that time? Could she have already been deceased at that point, but still have her phone on her?

I don't know how pacemakers work, if someone else could chime in here. Would the app show activity if she was deceased and was still wearing the watch?

I’m sure by the time I finish this thought, there will be about 30 more messages posted here, but for now I’m caught up. The one thing that’s bothering me (and I agree with the majority at this point the direction this is heading in terms of potential perp) is the amount of coordination this would have take to have so many things staged at NG’s home. Yes the blood drops could’ve been from some other unrelated earlier injury, or maybe even put there by the suspect to stage that she made it home. But then, add in the clues of the time of the garage door opening/closing, camera(s) disconnect and motion detection timing, watch/pacemaker sync ending time, etc… it just seems like a LOT to coordinate in a relatively short amount of time.
Although… add in a possibility of an additional non-relative being involved as accomplice and I suppose it could add up. Just doesn’t feel like it would’ve taken THIS long for LE to put these pieces together.

I find it hard to believe if SIL and AG are involved, that they would be able to send these ransom notes without it being figured out by LE before now. Especially since it involved the bitcoin account and IP encryption. I feel like her death may have been heat of the moment if it was SIL/AG, so it seems off that they could throw together an elaborate ransom situation that quickly. I don’t know. This case is really crazy. So now I’m leaning towards the ransom notes not being really connected.

Would be compassionate of AG, if she actually has knowledge of this alternate scenario to prevent any money being paid to the ransome note senders who don’t have her mother, so that her siblings don’t fork over a ton of money. MOO

If SiL did kick this off he must have had help, and maybe this help is now running the show, because you'd have to assume that communication between them after the fact would be impossible. Whoever is running this now can't be sitting in the same space as that family day after day.

Could they know that? Might that be why family are engaging with these ransom notes and sending videos? Could it explain some of the weird wording and phraseology they're using?

My mind is like a hive of angry bees right now. Chaos.
