You and probably thousands of other curious people. lol

They probably shut it down. IMO
Hmmm I’’ve checked it pretty regularly too including just now and have not seen that

Agree. I find AB's claims much less relevant than LE's return to AG's home last night (I watched the livestream of it). The length of time they were there, evidence collection gloves, photos being taken in the garage and home, etc. I am just not sure what it means. It could be circumstantial (collecting evidence on NG's perhaps shoe imprints, clothing worn, biological evidence like that), or if there were others there that night that are relevant, timing of things, etc. Or it could be more related to an actual crime. I think those are the only two options? Unless I'm missing something.
AB’s claims are most relevant because she’s been on this island for 4 days and nothing she’s said has been disproven yet, in fact the opposite seems to be happening.

Honestly, I have a really hard time believing the family is involved at all, but maybe I'm just naive.

I think AB may have been given information that she should have sat on for a bit. And I also think the world just latched on to her words as truth, and it got out of control (as the drama is bound to do). It seems like a lot of people are taking everything that any source of authority says at face value, and it's causing a lot of unnecessary harm.

But I get it. The circumstances are so strange, and LE is trying to keep things so close to the vest, that it's bound to set the rumors and speculation flying.

IMO.
I’m with you. I feel this is a retaliatory attack on Savannah or kidnap for ransom. I don’t think family involved at all.

I was only getting that message on SIL's name. Other inmates came up just fine. It's now blank again when I search SIL.
If SIL is involved, where would he hide the body, or do you think he is paying others?

Inmate lookup is no longer accessible for Pima County (Tucson). I've been checking it on and off throughout the weekend and this is the first time I've seen this message. Can check for yourself here. Personally checked for myself in Chrome and Firefox incognito.

EDIT: ITS NOW BACK UP.
I tried earlier today too and thought it was me. Isn’t this an odd coincidence? Hmmm

Do we know what time the church service started? If it was at 10, and a friend saw she wasn't there and called the family after it was over would make more sense than if it started at 11 and the friend alerted the family 2 minutes after the service started.
Great question. I found her church and I believe the specific service she was supposed to attend might be this one here. The website says live streamed services are Sundays @ 9:00 am & 10:45 am, so I may be wrong with the specific stream.

Difficult to say which service it could have been given the timings.

Same question I keep asking. Why make a video saying they will pay the ransom when they could just quietly pay it?

I think the purpose of the video is to tell the kidnappers they will pay for their mother dead or alive. They want a proper burial.
I think the messages are more cryptic than anything. The wording has been beyond strange

Or the author of the RN has specifically requested the videos...
Yes that is possible. Why do you think he wants videos?

It increases the possibility he will be detected and arrested. The only thing he should want is the money hitting his bank account.

Unless he is sadistic, controlling, attention seeking? Also narcissistic and thinks he can get away with the crime no matter what.

Does anyone fact check anymore? It feels like if a mistake is made, all they have to do is update it online. No need to even issue an explanation. Online news outlets also contribute to incorrect information.
Earlier today Yahoo posted an article from Parade about a search taking place last night (Saturday) at 10:30pm, stating it occurred at Nancy Guthrie's home. We all know that it took place at Annie's home. This is part of the reason this thread and case is so confusing for me.

Rarely posting links here, not using IMO and opinions ending up fact, sleuthing anyone, speculating without any basis.
I just do not know the actual facts of this case. If the facts could be pinned to the top page that would help a lot with repeated questions and discussions. MOO.

I have been here since 2009 and never seen a thread like this.

I did not want to link the false Yahoo article to not confuse things even more but will if needed.

Per the DOJ, "murder" involves intention. IMO

Justine Manual - Murder Definition

"...defines murder as the unlawful killing of a human being with malice, and divides it into two degrees."
Auto accidents are manslaughter. Example: Kim Potter, the former Minnesota police officer who mistakenly drew her handgun instead of her Taser during a traffic stop in April in which she fatally shot Daunte Wright, was accused of manslaughter, not murder.

Yes a forensic linguist would have a field day. Or be utterly confounded.

They don’t have that money to come up with on the fly. You can only have so much in a bank account (that will be insured) and the rest usually goes into investments. That’s how people with real money do it. Savannah would have to start liquidating. At most she could have $250,000 in the bank at her disposal. $6 million takes time to retrieve. I doubt Savannah has gold bars just sitting around in her home. People have this idea that rich people live like Scrooge McDuck jumping into piles of gold.
$6M won't take that long to get her hands on if it's all invested in a brokerage. You can have your money available in 1 day. I recently bought a house for cash so I know how long the process takes, but that'll have to be JMO. So as far as liquidating... it just takes 1 day for the settlement of stocks and/or funds to occur. As for the crypto part... that appears to be even quicker.

On average, though, it takes around 10 minutes for a transfer to confirm on the blockchain. But, again, this can vary. SOURCE

What's going to suck is the tax hit she's going to by cashing investments out. And what's going to really suck, in the event she can somehow get her money back in the end, is that if she has to liquidate an IRA, Roth, Traditional, or Rollover... she can't get that money back into those accounts. What sucks about that is if you can buy and sell to your hearts content in an IRA, with NO tax consequences, but you can't do that in a taxable brokerage account. Change your mind and sell some stock to buy a different stock? The tax man holds their hand out. So no changing your mind if she can get that money back. It has to go into a taxable IRA. I don't think the IRS is nice enough to allow her some grace and just put it back. But who knows? Maybe there is some sort of loophole she could utilize.

My thoughts on opening the garage door... if someone is dropping me off at home, I would walk in through my front door. If I'm not parking a vehicle in the garage its not likely I'm opening that door. Do people really do this? Maybe it just makes more sense with the layout of her house. Was it opened because someone knew there would be a record of it being opened?

MOO
I agree it likely relates to the layout of the driveways and entrances.
Also, at our house we always come in through the garage, We have a 'mud room' there where we can take off our shoes and hang up our coats. No pile of shoes at the front door. For some, no doubt, the front entrance enters directly into the living room. Not a place for muddy shoes, etc.

Everyone's set up and situation is different. Others have likely covered this topic better than me, but I know this is a long and fast-moving thread.

Yes, and the legal definitions will vary by jurisdiction, too. IMO

Justice Manual - Manslaughter Defined

"...defines manslaughter as the unlawful killing of a human being without malice. Manslaughter is of two kinds: voluntary and involuntary."

Is this pure speculation or are you getting info from somewhere?

If the first, maybe consider placing an "IMO". If the latter, sources would be nice. :)
No, I looked up who lived in the house they were knocking on today (present and prior). Still lists as their present address but I do not think that is the case. And their profile is on LinkedIn as well as documented large tax liens (since resolved) on the county website. Could just be a random coincidence but it sure got my hamster wheel turning as it raised my eyebrow. That is why I asked earlier if LE was seen going to any other house today. It says it had to do with a trespassing complaint.

I had initially wondered if she was lured out her bed and the house by something she heard but if she wears hearing aids that is less probable
She may have not heard someone rummaging around either. My friend can’t hear her master bath toilet running without her hearing aids.

She is most likely going to suffer big financial hits. Another issue is if she is going to be able to return to work. She may lose income. There may be other costs associated with this crime before it is all over.

Inclined to think it's a catch-all for any sort of errors, then, if it was sometime outside of the last half hour for you. Just hadn't caught it yet myself and was surprised!

I dont think you can walk up into someone's home and search it without their permission or a warrant.
I believe there are consent forms that can be signed. I don't know what would happen if someone got a lawyer and withdrew their consent. I would imagine a warrant would be preferred.
