I may be reading into this too much, but why not all of the hired help, just some? Unless they have a specific reason…?
They seem to be testing a variety of help.

Perhaps the use of the word “some” could reflect say: main and current employees.

Depending on the organization / size of the landscaping, pool, house cleaning businesses, the number of people with access to the home could be small and relatively unchanging, or relatively large.

For example, pool and landscaping companies have many accounts, and rotating crews, including new hires , people who have left, etc. If so, the number of pool and landscape guys over a 12 month period could be relatively large and lead to:

LE: Did Jeffery ever work the Guthrie pool? Business Owner: Yes, probably, but was usually on another route.
LE: What about Jose?
Business Owner: Uhhm..... probably not, but maybe when we had alot of sick calls that month. He only worked for us for 9 months, then moved on.

Yes, I understand that. My question is what is the point? If you're supposedly so close you attend the same event (in person or virtual) but don't acknowledge each other? What is the point of attending then?
People don't necessarily attend chuch for each other but rather, more importantly, attend church to get closer to God. Anyhow, I think they have posted a lot on this site about this already. I believe NG was supposed to have met up with a friend to livestream the service NY.

Yes and when I mentioned that yesterday, I was made fun of. I said yard worker. Regardless of their title, they would know an elderly wealthy woman lived alone and may have known she was related to a top news star at NBC. I mentioned maybe that person owed a cartel and received rude responses. As many years as I have been a member here, I am still amazed at how hateful others can be.
Funny, it’s not so funny today. Glad LE is finally gettting dna from the workers.
things move so fast here and admittedly if 30 pages behind I just go to latest so I missed some of that ridicule you received. Those workers or anyone with access to home have to be completely looked at. Could be them or people they known. I am suspicious of any of them and especially wonder about that camera on the roof and what the story is. Building permits for the last years will reveal who did serious work and my guess is AG and TC organized a lot of the work done at NG's home.

What is the point of attending the same service without communication? Wouldn't you Facetime beforehand a, "Good morning! It's so nice to see you! I'm happy you're joining me for service!" Or a quick check-in afterwards?

Maybe its just me but getting ready for church with kids and getting there, in my case to get a good seat, I'd look forward to talking to mom later on!

I'm not sure if SG did try to be in touch right after to say hello to the group only to find out NG was missing from the gathering and the upset already started back in Tucson.

In my culture a quickish exit to a restaurant lunch to get ahead of the church crowd is usual and a better setting for a check in to say hi to everyone.

I love the thought that SG would talk to them that have joined her worship service how proud they must have been of each other for their efforts to stay in touch and share their faith.

all imo

Not to sound cliché but would people outside of the family know the relationship between members of the family? I keep thinking about the usual "they kept to themselves. We've been their neighbors for 30 years and never talked to them other than a wave."

I think the fact that there aren't people coming to their defense probably says alot. I didn't hear SG plead with people to stop spreading gossip about AG/SIL. Not that it means she thinks they are guilty - but it certainly is odd no one, even the family, seems to be speaking up for them.
Very possible some might. When you interview a friend circle or distant family members you get a lot of hearsay, but information that might peak your interest.

Say they interviewed a few friends and they reluctantly disclosed that AG hated her mothers guts or has been arguing lately, and her husband is very controlling and she'd do anything he said. Well, there's no smoking gun there but it would certainly give you an inclination on how to proceed.

But people are reluctant to disclose such things, and sometimes they divulge when pushed but qualify it with "but I don't think she'd ever hurt her...." etc. Some people are more guarded and don't have a huge friend/family circle -- it is something we haven't really heard much of and as an investigator I'd really want to know.

I would imagine they did personal interviews, maybe even some financial forensics, phone records of the family members, but again you have to tread lightly in this victim/potential suspect balance.

I love this site because everyone has such creative thinking.

I believe that they used TMZ because they were confident they would release the information. Reliable news, sources may not have.
Also, many have surmised the prep is local to Tucson

Does anyone else feel SG could have made a more explicit statement to take the heat off AG? For example, "I know there is a lot of discussion right now and people are trying to help - but please, my sister had nothing to do with this - she is hurting just like I am, and I would ask you to be respectful"?

So if LE asks for a sample and someone refuses, will LE get a warrant?
I dont think you CAN get a warrant. Think about people who refuse to give a sample and they have plainclothes detectives following them around and taking their cups out of the trash at McDonalds to get a DNA sample. Not arrested? No sample can be forced to be submitted by a suspected perp. moo

she just can't do that....she is saying what LE approves and not getting into the case.

So, the NY church service was Good Shepherd that NG and her friends tune in to.

She seems to have stopped caring what LE do and is taking matters into her own hands. Even a "my sister and her husband are victims too" statement?

Why did Chris Watts take his wife and childrens' bodies out of the house? Why did Scott Peterson take his wife's body out of the house? And so on, a hundred times.

My opinion only.
To destroy evidence.
And to remove a dead body.

"[NG] was supposed to go to a friend's house on the morning she went missing to watch the church service being streamed online, a source told NBC News. When she didn't arrive, friends notified her family that she was not there."

I am sure LE is talking to people that work with AG and TC and anyone that came in contact with NG on a regular basis. It usually provides clues or valuable leads. I just have to believe they are closing in on someone or group of people involved here.

For all we know she may be blaming the sister or had some turmoil w/ her. I am not privy to their relationship but humans interact and react in many ways in crisis (shifting blame, guilt-tripping, whatever). Maybe she doesn't feel that is necessary or she would. We don't know the real dynamic there at all.

Yes.

If NG wore dentures/partial, she most likely would have worn them for dinner at her daughter's on Saturday. If LE found such dental apparatus at NG's home, that would be an indicator that she did return home after dinner. (This assumes she habitually removed the apparatus to clean it before going to bed).

The same could be applied to her hearing aid. Assuming she wore it during the day and took it out at night, a NY Times article said they were in her home. Would indicate she did make it home and was in bed.

I believe this is the article but it's behind a paywall. If you search 'hearing aid nancy guthrie NY Times, you can see it's mentioned it was found in the home. (no idea if it is true and AFAIK, it's the first mention of it)

I'm sure she was told not to say anything that might interfere with or compromise the investigation. Even if she felt that way, she wouldn't have been able to say that.

I agree and that opens a whole other can of worms for people to read into

I feel so bad for Nancy, she had cameras installed but not the software that records data, she probably thought she was safe at home :(
