AZ Nancy Guthrie, 84, (mother of TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie) missing - last seen in the Catalina foothills area on Jan 31, 2026

Maybe they did not have probable cause for the warrant yesterday but they do today.
Maybe I'm not understanding this. Don't they need probable cause to get a warrant? I'd be surprised if they went there last night, parked, and then suddenly realized that they didn't have a warrant. So maybe they were there last night for some slightly different reason?

Three Deputies have left.

One seen with gloves on

Piles of media there

They are clearly focusing on her daughter's property

Items have been taken from the property

Light flashes from the photos seem to be coming from the right side of the house, and possibly where the garage is situated

If what we are all starting to think, if they are involved then most of the timeline is moot
I think the hard thing regarding the timeline is distinguishing between the latest, much sparser timeline from Thursday’s PC, versus the initial timeline, which was much more haphazard. The initial timeline was essentially pieced together by the very frequent random details given out by the sheriff during his media appearances and interviews in the first few days.

The timeline from Thursday’s press conference left a LOT more holes than the initial reports, which was definitely noticed and seemed to be intentional as discussed by a lot of posters here at WS.

With that said, I still think the latest timeline has some holes if only one person was involved, but does seem a lot easier to fill those holes in if we leave out some of the earlier “details” reported on by MSM, many of which were walked back or “unable to confirm/deny” on Thursday.

As we endlessly speculate about what the latest tidbit of information may mean, or tediously parse each word of a statement (myself included), perhaps we should pause and take a moment to reflect on the bigger picture: That a sweet, kind woman has likely lost her life and her family is being tortured and being made to grieve and suffer (all in the very public spotlight).
And that "there before the grace of God go anyone of us".

I don't follow any religion per se, although was raised a casual Christian.

"There, but for the grace of God go I" will bring a tear to my eyes... we never know what nightmare situation could be around the corner or what we may have narrowly escaped... sliding doors!

Whilst I've answered Qs relating to TC and AG, I've not really put my thoughts forward... mainly because I am always open with theories until corroborative evidence is available.

I am a bit surprised that theories regarding their involvement/knowledge are quite rampant now as I was under the impression that here, family are considered victims, unless or until LE states otherwise. Just saying

Hold up. I worked 3-11 and am just catching up. I thought all this was outside the Mom's house. This is the SISTER's house?
Yes. Deputies were there this evening for approx. 3 hours.

It seemed like NG cherished her grandchild (all of them, of course, but AG's seems to be the one she spent the most time with due to proximity). I really hope SIL wouldn't do that to him, and the rest of the family. I hope there's an innocuous reason LE's taking photos there, but I don’t know. 😞

And if SIL was involved I really hope AG wasn’t… it’s possible she wasn’t if he planned it with a friend or something. IDK what to think anymore. Really hoped the family wasn’t involved.

dbm, sorry, I'm getting tired and being too argumentative. Need to get some sleep.

Just a general query, but how often do you think a parent might try to cover for a child's actions? Would most parents, some parents, not at all; what do you think, in general? Just curiousity, fwiw.

Suspicion raised here after journalist AB reported a very high level LE told her that he may be their prime suspect on Day #2!

Well, as SIL ( TC) appeared to be the person that took NG back home from the dinner at the home of AG and TC, that would be a very natural person to be the prime suspect.

LE always has to look carefully at the "last known contact" and apparently that would be him.

I wonder if the Uber driver was able to provide any helpful information. Was NG picked up at her home? Did the driver see her exit her home? Front door? Garage door? Was there a car in the garage?

It hurts to imagine her having dinner, playing games, unaware of what was ahead...

Agree! :(

Apologies if answered, but how did LE enter the house tonight? And are we certain that no one is home?

My opinion is as soon as she was out of the car they likely took off. Time is money in gig work. But I could absolutely be wrong.

They were taking photos inside the house and garage. One of them left with boxes from inside.
This is more of a general question for any LE or LE-adjacent who may know- in these high profile cases where time may be of the essence, do the detectives on the inside of the cases work overnight to go through evidence collected? Or are there multiple shifts coming and going, who comb through evidence, pictures, traffic cams, paperwork etc? Obviously it would depend on the size of the LE agency and regional resources, but curious as to how quickly things like this could move and if it really is a 24/7 operation at this point in the investigation.
