this has been hashed over before but SG has relationship with her bank and investment people and could come up with that cash in a more speedy timeframe than most. She can and probably has got the cash required together.
There is no way of you knowing if SG is liquid for $6M in one weeks notice. Her entire net worth is est. at $40M. We don't know her equity, investment ties, etc. She could probably come up with it eventually more than your average lower tier millionaire but she's not a centi-millionaire+ with that liquidity.

Are they just now canvassing her neighborhood?
It was not related to NG. See the comment on X. It was a trespassing complaint.

Two sheriff vehicles are at a neighbor’s house. They knocked on the door, but no one opened. The neighbor’s house is at the top of the road behind Nancy’s house not AG’s.
I believe there was a letter sent out that they would be contacting neighbors

Think about it. If someone died in your home and you weren't calling 911 and felt you had to "get rid of" the body, you have a limited bunch of options in an approximate 12 hour window. Once LE had the vehicle data downloads, they would likely know the mileage/range the vehicles traveled. So, within that time frame and the mileage data, you have a search area. Where do you look- septic tanks, old mines, desert areas, etc. It's a simple logistics issue, which is solvable. Just my opinion.

ex FBI on TV said the blood droplets on the front porch belonged to Nancy who would have been standing upright and not carried.
This is probably farfetched but I was thinking -- it's extremely dry where i am (Midwest) due to low temps and constant running of the furnace. My humidifier stopped working and about a month ago I got a nosebleed (sorry!) which has never happened before.

Until I could stanch it, there literally were big round blood drops all over the bathroom floor, an amazing amount. I wonder if NG could have experienced similar or somehow had a facial injury that caused dripping? It would explain the volume and the appearance of those blood droplets.

Because if the injury were elsewhere, it likely would soak into clothing and not cause round droplets on the bricks. (my elderly neighbor some years ago bashed the side of her head on her open car door and bled profusely, but it all soaked into her blouse and jacket. she didn't realize how badly it was bleeding and walked to and fro unloading groceries for some time until she looked down at her clothing.)

Has there been any description of her attire?

Basis Oro Valley. It’s one of the best schools in Arizona, I think even in the entire country. Known for extremely rigorous classes and a lot of homework, and students experiencing burnout/transferring schools if they can’t handle it.
Do you have a source to confirm he is currently working at BASIS. Teacher names are only available through their internal portal. Thanks!

I don't think SG is terribly worried about freaking MONEY, right now. She wants her Mom back in any way.

They posted an update,
“UPDATE: just spoke to one of the sheriff deputies on the scene, he confirmed this visit was about a trespassing complaint”
The same trespasser a neighbor complained about, the neighbor who said as soon as he approached the trespasser, he took off?
(from before the disappearance)

Could someone with a New York Times subscription please check for an article posted 3 hours ago: 7 Days No Suspects
The goggle snip says when someone from church didn't see her in the pews they called her family to check in.

Here's the link that has the church goer alerting the family. It says approx. 11 am someone who attends church with NG called to report that she never made it to services.

- ABC News Nancy Guthrie abduction: New timeline emerges in mysterious disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's mom

So Mrs Guthrie was attending in person if true or its a big fib by someone who wasn't aware she was watching services on line these days.

Maybe the sheriff feels that alert is not worthy of a place in his timeline or time offered was not accurate or couldn't be confirmed.

It may be where the time discrepancy of getting a call about NG and the time of arriving at her home and finding her gone.

11:00, when its time for it to begin ?, seems accurate time to note she hadnt arrived at church as expected and call the family to check on her.

Imo

I'm totally lost. Just logging on.

Watched last night: They towed NG's car
They went do AG's house. Did they tow any cars there?

That's all I know between that and several hundred posts from today.

I don't have time to read all the comments, but it looks like discussion of little details like types of septic tanks etc.

I don't see much referring to specific action in the case that have happened today.

I apologize, but I have searched and read the posts and re-read the posts and the watch/phone/pacemaker connection is something I don't understand. I am not at all familiar with pacemakers and any app/monitoring it would connect to.

Can someone explain how the pacemaker/watch/phone thing works & what it detects & doesn't detect & what it means when it "disconnects"? I mean explain it like I'm 5. Please.
If I were explaining it to a child….maybe a little older than 5 :)

Pacemaker is a little device in the patient’s chest that helps the heart beat steady - it may also have a defibrillator to send a gentle shock if the heart races too fast or dips too low - to get it back in normal rhythm. The doctors need to monitor it from time to time - sometimes monthly and sometimes more often. They can do this when the patient visits their office but like to see it between visits too. An app on an iPhone allows them to do that without the patient needing to hook up to anything or call in like they used to. Typically it will send those reports to the pacemaker provider who will send the reports to the cardiologist who will contact the patient if there is an issue. But there are some things the patient can use it for such as checking their pacemaker battery. The pacemaker connects to the iPhone via Bluetooth so it can become disconnected in the same way any Bluetooth device does - getting too far from it - the phone losing connection to cell tower or wifi - or the phone being turned off or the battery dying.

Hope that helps

Why is everyone so hung up on money and financial worth of the family? It really sounds mercenary. IMO, it's been a week and only last night did they say "we will pay". They know no more now than theu did when she disappeared and no money has changed hands and 530 tomorrow is a deadline

I diasagree.

The mercenaries here are whomever took Nancy and are demanding millions.

The financial worth of the family, specifically Savannah, provides the motive, which cannot be obtained from someone without $6,000,000 to pay.

And we do not know at all if “they know no more now than they did when she disappeared.”

How can we assume that when they have read the ransom notes and we haven’t, and they are working with the FBI and we aren’t?

We all want the same thing—the SAFE return of Nancy Guthrie, which IMO is more doubtful as time is ticking.

I can’t blame the family for any moves they have or have not made. Who among us knows for a fact that if they’d paid earlier, Nancy would come home alive?

JMO about this heartwrenching tragedy.

Does anyone remember early on when the ransom note was reported on, that it was mentioned somewhere about the Thursday/Monday deadlines. But then in the last 24 hours people were responding like it was new information. I could have sworn I'd already heard that somewhere earlier. From what I recall, it was ransom to be sent by Thursday and to be received in their account by Monday. When I heard that I thought well maybe they are allowing time for the transfer - so pay by Thursday and it better be in my account by Monday.

Maybe I'm wrong, there's been so much swirling around

Thank you for sharing this information. I can't keep up with this fast-moving discussion and haven't read any posts that refer to a Will/Trust. DH and I have had various Wills since we were in our 30s, but now that we are in our 70s, we have a Living Trust for the reasons that you outlined in your post. It was a costly endeavor but well worth the expense to know that our affairs are in order and that our wishes will be carried out with specific details.
