I don’t think I expressed myself very well concerning LE. Thanks for pointing it out.
I have no doubt LE was working hard the last week, but I think they were being pulled in too many directions, and could not focus on things because of the kidnapping think.

Reports indicate that LE seems to be reassessing predispositions and reworking theories, which suggests they concur with your analysis. Hopefully they'll have viable information soon, and if they don't hopefully they'll open up at least some of the information they have to the public for more attention, scrutiny, and leads.

I wonder if the digital service is available on YouTube for later, non-live viewing.
The church does have a youtube channel:

if NG is like many seniors she wears the hearing aid when she remembers it or feels like it and not all the time.
Agree. Also, with the price drops - some people have more than one type of hearing assistive device.

missed this development, can you point me to a link or give me an idea where in the thread this info is linked so I can check it out? Only one I can find is Fox news or outlets quoting Fox news as their source. Fox news digital is not allowed via TOS. TIA
it was discussed today on NBC Today show.

I don’t understand why they reported what the president said when he has no clue as to what’s going on that was so embarrassing
This case has garnered national interest and it doesn't surprise me that the President would comment on it. I would be more surprised if he didn't.

Thank you.
So perhaps the viewing group would gather later than 9am on Sundays & watch the recording.

Yeah, I've been thinking about this too. And how odd it seems that they sent this out, proactively, and then... As far as I have seen, virtually no activity at those houses (someone, please correct me if I've missed something). The police clearly can just show up at the houses without announcing it. Why announce it and then not show up? There's probably a mundane explanation (e.g. they are planning stuff today and just announced it early), but it just seems like yet another example of poor communication here. Another self-inflicted wound to credibility. JMO
Did an employee , work at both homes ? And that's why both homes are being analysed?

Yes and when I mentioned that yesterday, I was made fun of. I said yard worker. Regardless of their title, they would know an elderly wealthy woman lived alone and may have known she was related to a top news star at NBC. I mentioned maybe that person owed a cartel and received rude responses. As many years as I have been a member here, I am still amazed at how hateful others can be.
Funny, it’s not so funny today. Glad LE is finally gettting dna from the workers.
I’m sorry to hear some people weren’t respectful to you, no matter what their opinion is, we can agree to disagree. Kind people are my kind of people ❤️😊

As one of the people obsessed with the “churchgoer call”, I’m observing the latest explanation with a grain of salt. It answers questions but introduces others (for me, at least), which I won’t get into unless others care to discuss.

Why was all this hidden?
Right? The first info was a “church friend” called NG, then AG. In timeline, out of timeline?
Yesterday, MK revealed NG was actually in an in-person church watch group, where she usually went to someone’s home, to watch together, in a small group.

It is interesting that NG watches a live stream from her daughter's NYC church instead of one in Tucson area. It seems like SG is very much the golden child. I was also watching some clips on SG's social media and she made Jenna Bush the godmother of her first child, which I thought was notable that it wasn't her sister. It may be that her sister does not share the same religious beliefs. On the other hand, SG called her sister her "spiritual life partner" in a clip of the her 2018 book that someone posted here.

I'm sure the family dynamics are interesting. Just like in all families I'm sure in addition to love, there are tensions and resentments and jealousies. It seems like AG probably did most of the heavy lifting with NG and, if it is anything like my experience as a caretaker (also to an mid 80s family member who is basically "independent"), the faraway siblings have no idea how much work it can be-- and I don't mean physically. It would be hard to see them traveling the world, having summer houses and NYC townhouses, and seemingly having no money worries while I stayed in my hometown.
yes I am currently watching a situation of family with most out of state and caregiving including home maintenance falling on one family member that is local. Resentments can build up.

I think the person or persons that did that has infiltrated into their lives somehow someway. It’s possible whoever has Nancy has been inside AGs house as well and that’s why LE was there for 3 hours on Saturday taking pictures. Has it been confirmed that there was no warrant and the search was consensual? If LE did not get a warrant I find it hard to believe that they would consider anyone in that house a suspect -MOO
Again - I'm just giving some perspectives here:

It would not be unusual for families living close to each other to share certain helpers. For example, a trusted house cleaner might clean both houses. HVAC guy might be reliable and used by both NG and AG. I suppose another possibility is a family friend of AG/SIL is a roofer, lets say, and thats the roofer who worked on NG house.

I believe there was a warrant because LE seemed to know what they were looking for and removed those things as evidence. BUT a warrant doesn't always mean the evidence being collected incriminates the occupants. For example, your car may be seized with a warrant to collect evidence if police believe your mechanic used it in a crime. However, the fact that LE seem to keep going back to AG house is the part that makes me lean towards there being incriminating evidence there.

SIL is a full time teacher and has a child with AG. I am sure that NG had pool service probably weekly to balance the chemicals and clean. I also don't think "84 year old sick mom" is accurate description of NG who seemed to be an active senior with friends and not sitting around being sick. Her meds indicate some chronic conditions and walks with cane. In her plea to captors SG stressed her fragile health to make it more urgent to return her now.
I have two jobs and two houses and kids and am roughly the same age as TC. I still help out with my moms pool and other things (provided it's equally close). At the very least I'd think he'd come by to manage subs and bids and help with things. I wouldn't leave a health compromised 84 year old to get job estimates and oversee work of contractors, and she supposedly had her entire roof re-sealed, sealing (roof and driveway) is a classic rip off quote scam done by low end contractors (a job that would take a few people and a decent amount of time)

As to her health you don;t think a person with a pacemaker and is on" life sustaining meds" as described by the police and SG is sick??? Yes, she is health compromised and elderly and your own statement points out "SG stressed her fragile health" which is not a ploy but a fact. Her own family described her as an "elderly lady that can't walk more than 50 yards". She's almost 90 with a freakin pacemaker and high blood pressure!

I saw your original post and when I went back to comment, couldn't find it. But I did want to say that your idea isn't that far fetched. Something with this entire case is off.

I'm sorry others made fun of you and that is something that should NOT be allowed. This site is supposed to be a safe place for everyone. I too am amazed at how rude others can be when a viewpoint, that is different from theirs, is shared. This is why I don't post a lot, because I have a very low tolerance level for that sort of thing.
Thank you so much. I appreciate your kindness.

That is something to consider, excellent question!

Bbm.
This is a new development !
Should have been conducted earlier, imo.
Sorry you were made fun of ?
Doesn't matter who the perp is or where they're from-- the employees should have been scrutinized from day one.
The only thing that matters is apprehending the perp, finding Nancy and getting justice for her !!
Imo.
I agree. No one should have to leave this world in violence or live in fear.

I'm interested in the drips running down the door frame.

It appears to me to just be runs in the paint, steel doors like this often need to be repainted. I'm sure the AZ heat/sun can be harsh probably meaning its been repainted several times. JMO

I don't see her needing much in the way of landscaping service however. I'm thinking probably had a quarterly service, unless she was picky about having leaves blown and everything deadheaded.

If her house was built in 1975, it always be in need of repairs! Never ending type stuff.
That is a very good point. And, I would not be surprised if everything is maintained very well with proactive maintenance.

Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, roofers etc. can all work as individuals- or small crews in regards to roofing, or be part of rotating work crews in regards to larger companies. Then factor in Mom's fridge died and a new one is being delivered / installed possibilities.

Wow, the total could what, 20 plus people if the contractors come from larger companies are are not self employed?

Back when I thought NG was missing from the actual physical church, I asked the question how was she supposed to get there? Who was picking her up? Why didn't that set off the alarm when she didn't answer the door, what with the blood apparent at the house door. Or maybe she was still driving although that doesn't seem likely. So I have the same question: how was she getting to the the friend's house?
