Back when I thought NG was missing from the actual physical church, I asked the question how was she supposed to get there? Who was picking her up? Why didn't that set off the alarm when she didn't answer the door, what with the blood apparent at the house door. Or maybe she was still driving although that doesn't seem likely. Yes and when I mentioned that yesterday, I was made fun of. I said yard worker. Regardless of their title, they would know an elderly wealthy woman lived alone and may have known she was related to a top news star at NBC. I mentioned maybe that person owed a cartel and received rude responses. As many years as I have been a member here, I am still amazed at how hateful others can be.
Funny, it’s not so funny today. Glad LE is finally gettting dna from the workers.

It appears to me to just be runs in the paint, steel doors like this often need to be repainted. I'm sure the AZ heat/sun can be harsh probably meaning its been repainted several times. JMO

It looks like powder coated metal to me, not that I'm an expert though. I thought it looked like an oil run.

It is interesting that NG watches a live stream from her daughter's NYC church instead of one in Tucson area. It seems like SG is very much the golden child. I was also watching some clips on SG's social media and she made Jenna Bush the godmother of her first child, which I thought was notable that it wasn't her sister. It may be that her sister does not share the same religious beliefs. On the other hand, SG called her sister her "spiritual life partner" in a clip of the her 2018 book that someone posted here.

I'm sure the family dynamics are interesting. Just like in all families I'm sure in addition to love, there are tensions and resentments and jealousies. It seems like AG probably did most of the heavy lifting with NG and, if it is anything like my experience as a caretaker (also to an mid 80s family member who is basically "independent"), the faraway siblings have no idea how much work it can be-- and I don't mean physically. It would be hard to see them traveling the world, having summer houses and NYC townhouses, and seemingly having no money worries while I stayed in my hometown.

i think this is somewhat unfair for us to speculate on at this point just from social media and other little things coming out now. maybe the sister isn't a churchgoer? she lives close to NG so that to me indicates some type of closeness, particularly with the other 2 siblings living far away on the east coast.

Many of us live in dark communities here as there are observatories around. Also, the area NG lived in is not known for crime.

We don't have streetlights in Tucson and that's never seemed to have been an issue. Much better for the observatories. Because many houses in wealthier neighborhoods in Tucson are spread apart and set back from the road, the ring cameras don't necessarily capture cars or people on the street.

Did LEcheck out the Uber drivers, like the one who took her to AG’s home the night of her disappearance.
Nothing against Uber drivers, I’m glad we have them. But I have heard some hair raising stories of rape and robberies with Uber drivers.
After all, they are just people.
My son uses Uber a lot and feels it’s very safe. Of course, he can handle himself I am sure. Me on the other hand? Not so much.

I have two jobs and two houses and kids and am roughly the same age as TC. I still help out with my moms pool and other things (provided it's equally close). At the very least I'd think he'd come by to manage subs and bids and help with things. I wouldn't leave a health compromised 84 year old to get job estimates and oversee work of contractors, and she supposedly had her entire roof re-sealed, sealing (roof and driveway) is a classic rip off quote scam done by low end contractors (a job that would take a few people and a decent amount of time)

As to her health you don;t think a person with a pacemaker and is on" life sustaining meds" as described by the police and SG is sick??? Yes, she is health compromised and elderly and your own statement points out "SG stressed her fragile health" which is not a ploy but a fact. Her own family described her as an "elderly lady that can't walk more than 50 yards". She's almost 90 with a freakin pacemaker and high blood pressure!

I’m thinking once the workers are set up on a schedule SIL would not need to be involved, unless there was an issue to discuss.

Well now that makes sense. Now I understand how she could be livestreaming a service, and people would notice her missing. Why did it take so long for this to come out?

It’s always important to keep an open mind when you’re following a criminal investigation, especially when details are scarce, and facts are disputed.

The longer this investigation goes on, the greater the possibility that initial suspicions and theories may be off base.

I’m still leaning a particular way, but it remains entirely possible that other options are in play. Namely, someone on the periphery of Nancy’s circle being involved.

Cases like that aren’t unprecedented. Here are two examples where someone outside the immediate family circle was ultimately responsible:

-Vermont (2024): 82-yr-old Roberta Martin was murdered by her 23-yr-old neighbor. He moved her body into nearby woods and burned/concealed her remains to destroy evidence and buy time before she was found.

-California (Paso Robles, 2018): 62-yr-old Nancy Woodrum was killed by a painter/worker who had access to her property. He transported her body to a remote area and dumped it. She was initially treated as a missing person until he led police to her remains.

Right? The first info was a “church friend” called NG, then AG. In timeline, out of timeline?
Yesterday, MK revealed NG was actually in an in-person church watch group, where she usually went to someone’s home, to watch together, in a small group.

Agree. The "churchgoer call" seemed significant to me because if family said that's why they went to NG's house and then there's no record of such a call to them, this is a huge red flag.

Many of us have lots of possible theories about all of us, but the huge question for me is as Starkville said, "Why was all of this hidden?". LE hasn't mentioned it since their first presser, took it off their initial timeline and no information been revealed about any of this. MO

• February 1, 1:47 a.m.: Doorbell camera went offline, erasing live feed.
• 2:12 a.m.: Camera software detected motion—initially thought to be a person but possibly an animal; no video recoverable.
• 2:28 a.m.: Pacemaker app disconnected from her phone, suggesting she was moved or incapacitated.

NG still drove, so it could be she was going to drive herself to the friend’s home.

This article said she “sometimes picks up at school and watches” her grandson, so to me that sounds like she still drives.

I still feel like the actual, unredacted 911 call (not the dispatch that they released), would tell us if there was a ransom note on site. I imagine that the 911 caller would've included that info in the call. To my knowledge LE hasn't indicated one way or the other if a ransom note was there, but they did state that it was clearly a crime scene.
