At this time I feel bad for this guy.

A customer on door dash didn't get their tip, so they called one in for him?

Has anyone in here who was set on a theory changed their opinion on this case because of these new developments i.e. the man captured at Nancy's door?

I've been on the fence because there were pros and cons for either scenario i.e. family did it - stranger did it but now I just don't see a valid reason that family was involved - at least at this point.

That man does not look anything like TC to me.

Wow, I don't know what to say about the last 12 hours. Great that the door footage is now out there, but if this massive LE response in the last few hours was a knee jerk reaction to one tip, I'm conflicted (obviously just what was said in the interview with the the detained man's mother in law, so not sure if this is actually the case).

On the one hand, you'd want LE to do anything to bring Nancy home. But on the other hand, I'm sure we don't want them steamrolling around Arizona detaining innocent people either.

Yes. The twists and turns have made me veer in different directions.

This is utterly bizarre. Pretty much every component of this case to date. Just bonkers.

JMO.

Like Tricia stated this is pretty much unprecedented here.

Would you pay ransom without "proof of life"?
Nope. The only real proof of life released to public imo would be the 5:32pm Uber driver pick up at NG house

Well, so much for the case being solved...
Frustrating doesn't even begin to describe it.

And this Carlos POI...if it's him putting bushes in front camera...I think it was an assignment to disable camera footage. I believe based on all reported to media that a tragic incident happened to NG which NG was with intimate family members.

In this post, it says an investigator from Adult Protective Services left a card on the door of Nancy’s house.

This is the video from the new station with the card on the window.

One thing I did notice..the pic of the perp without the backpack...if it's the same guy, there's zero blood on his pants, which gives me a little hope and I don't think the inside of the house was a horrific crime scene.
My opinion only

They did process his house and car so it may not be the last we hear of him. The fact they didn’t ask him anything did they just want him detained while the search warrant was executed? I hope for his sake he didn’t have any involvement however something must have lead them to him and to search his house.
Someone could have called in a bogus tip to the FBI

Full interview from ABC15 out from CPjr.

The answer lies within where Uber driver dropped NG off. No solid proof of evidence that NG returned home after Uber driver assignment at around 5:30pm 1/31/26. I think the "suspects" at the home early morning 2/1/26 had family ties in some sort of way. Not random and the activity on 2/1/26 to me seems like a coverup to what happened that could have been tragic to NC night of 1/31/26

A few points of note (without me injecting my conclusions)

Crypto ransoms take a high degree of skill to pull off. POI would need to understand how to cold store BTC. Not on a hot wallet like Ledger. True cold storage takes sophistication and years of planning (storing keys and sleepy wallets with NO prior transactions). After the ransom is paid, POI would then need to use a crypto mixer like Monero or similar to breakdown the BTC, send it to hundreds of wallets, wash the hashes in thousands of transactions and then recollect the BTC once its been washed. After all that, they’d need a laundering scheme to convert the cleaned crypto into fiat. This person(s) would NOT send notes to the media. They understand anonymity and would avoid hot contact (I.e internet contact)

If you’re confused, you’re not the culprit. That gives a sense for the kind of person or persons skilled enough to pull off a crypto ransom. And that says nothing of the skill to kidnap someone. Those are two very different skill sets that rarely occur in one person.
Appreciate this crypto breakdown as someone with no idea
