If you were trying to disguise yourself and you had a mustache, wouldn’t you shave it off? And if you were trying to disguise yourself and you didn’t have a mustache and you were trying to confuse people, might you add one?

that facial hair looks painted on to me. mOO

Blood on the porch only proves she was at the house at some point. It doesn’t prove she ‘made it home’ in the sense of being safely dropped off and left there. That’s a big assumption to jump to.
I still don't think that blood is related to the crime. Meaning, she could have lost a few drops of blood at any time, with her elderly skin being so thin and all. It's entirely possible the police only mentioned the blood because the journalist, BE, went up to the front door, saw the blood, and reported on it. That should have never happened. LE should have never let anyone near that house. Because we know the blood is NG's, and if LE thinks it was deposited there during the crime, then BE basically tampered (unknowingly) with the crime scene.

IMO

Burying her in that terrain would take hours. Dogs have already been there a few times and did not find anything. IMO, they are simply looking for things the kidnapped may have dropped like the door camera that was removed.
I wasn’t thinking she was buried as that would be relatively obvious for several reasons, I would think…I was wondering about cadaver dogs as they’re continuing to search in septic tanks, etc. Also, I had read this article about dogs being trained to locate electronic devices, etc. https://www.jconline.com/story/news...ces-canine-k-9-labrador-retriever/7356723001/

Suspect's jacket: It has a horizontal stripe and no logo. Very generic. Also the zipper looked kind of wide to me.
I was thinking the strip was part of the backpack. So sorry.

LL Bean sews their tags on, at least that's how all of mine are, it would be easy to remove. It could also have been a previous colorway/style as well. I wasn't saying "this is THE jacket" just a similar style with the thin trim.

What the?
It’s a genuine suggestion. The OP claimed no tyre tracks were found in the area and they wouldn’t have walked with her limited mobility.

I don't think the reporters should have been all up in her business clearly taking advantage like that.

But at least we the public got to see yet again how LE swoops in and disrupts and traumatizes people's lives, and destroys property.
It is my understanding that LE had a warrant, is that not the case? And Nancy Guthrie could have been behind that door. If they had a warrant, they had every right to get in there and try to find her, time is of the essence in this case.

Is it possible the suspects used a private helicopter to move Nancy?
The realm of possibilities are endless. Lets focus on what WE DO KNOW.

Someone early on said something about a wheelbarrow. I thought it was ridiculous but after seeing the makeshift blocker with the flowers, anything is possible in this case I guess.
Easy for one person to move a person unconscious/no longer alive. I don't even want to follow that train of thought.

Thank you for these very interesting insights! If he is merely a money mule, could his electronic devices still be useful in catching the kidnappers?
If he is a money mule then his electronic activity might connect him to the next layer but that would still be many layers from the real criminals. Like I said, it's a start. But that's about it.

IMO, TMZ has been nothing but a distraction here. Amplifying the voices of internet randoms looking for fame or a buck.

With regard to robbery being the motive, why would anyone rob someone that old at 2 in the morning? They had to know she would be home. And she was out for a few hours earlier that day so they could have broken in, taken what they wanted with much less risk of escalation.

I think the one he has on is old navy or something similar. I’ve owned those with reflector strips before.
I believe the reflective stripes are on the backpack, not the coat. MOO 🤷‍♀️

The horizontal stripe is likely the cheststrap of the backpack
No, you can see the unbuckled sternum strap. The stripe is part of the fleece jacket.

Ooops sorry 1/2 a football field. Still a good distance.

Not really, imo. Not far at all and limits activities for a mentally able women in constant pain with lots of interests.

My mom was about the same but at the farmers market, the mall, museums, art shows or festivals we used it. Don't want them getting tired and falling and there is not always places to sit handy.

That's why the transport chairs for active people with limited mobility are sold at hospital gift shops, pharmacy's and of course on line.

all imo

I hate thinking it too, but I think you're right. There's a reason LE keeps searching around both residences/neighborhoods over and over. They seem to think she's nearby and so do I. IMO
Are they using dogs right now? That would make the most sense.
Or they could be trying to spook the perpetrator.
