Not to argue...but I thought it was 50 feet? (The distance NG could walk.)

Has there been a clear match for the backpack? It appears to me to be reasonably new. Haven't heard much about it though.
Closest idea from yesterday was an Outdoor Products brand bag, 20l-30l-ish volume. Pretty bang on as per pictures of these on Walmart pages.

I agree on it being newer. Nylon reflects pretty well, especially if it hasn't been used and the surface 'softened.'

One thing I clocked which I haven't seen mentioned: Suspect also has something bulky in his right jacket pocket - looks like a large rectangular object that can't fit all the way in and is partly sticking out at the bottom - you could see this when he turned around to grab the flowers.

That's a fair amount of blood drops to just leave at your front door. Even if you got a sudden nose bleed and left it for later, I think most people would have hosed it off or mopped it up as soon as they could.
Or, as happens to my elderly mom, NG could have nicked her arm and few drops trickled down before she even noticed it. Especially if she doesn't regularly use the front door as her main entrance. She could have been out there trimming bushes, got her arm snagged by a thorny branch, and didn't notice it immediately. Maybe she only noticed it when she went back into the garage, for example, not realizing she had left a few drops on the front porch. This is my THEORY as to why the blood is there and why it isn't a part of the crime scene. Wouldn't LE have cordoned off the porch if it was related? Have you ever, say, nicked a knuckle that started bleeding but didn't realize it until way after the fact?

IMO

Just my opinion, but this feels more like... leave no stone unturned than following up on leads.
Some mistakes appear to have been made early in this case (abandoning the scene early, miscommunications from early press conferences, for examples) and a retired officer with 20 years experience there (7 in homicide) indicated there has been a lot of turnover and many current officers only have two to three years experience, so are fairly green. ETA: this was in a Brian Entin interview featured on one of Tricia’s live YouTube shows.

And the crime(s) remain unsolved.

So, it is likely that those leading the investigation have decided it is wise to go back to the beginning, take a fresh look, and redo steps, perhaps with new and more experienced and detail-oriented sets of eyes. Something may have been missed that will now be caught. Seems like a good idea.

who burgles or kidnaps with an already stuffed backpack?

I am guess all his gear is brand new to avoid any DNA shedding. If we could id the mask, backpack, jacket that could be a start!
Pretty confident the backpack is an ozark trail from walmart and the ski mask also can be found on walmarts website. JMO

Ski mask: STAOEDU 3 Hole Full Face Mask, Women Men Thin Balaclava Face Mask for Motorcycle Bike Hunting Cycling Cap Ski - Walmart.com

Backpack: Ozark Trail Hiker Backpack 25 Liter, Black, Polyester, Adult, Teen - Walmart.com

How do you all think she was removed from the home? Through the front door?

There was discussion of bears and coyotes yesterday. Could the perps have left the house unlocked and these animals have gone in, and… eaten Nancy’s body? That might explain the blood by the door.
I believe investigators would have found scattered bones or something in the house if that were the case.

Yes, since there was a trail of her blood down the front walkway. 😕

I can't find it anywhere now but last Thursday evening I was watching the CourtTV livestream and their reporter mentioned that an adjacent neighbor also had her cameras disconnect that night. I've looked on the CourtTV website and YouTube channel and they don't have their livestream up from that evening... maybe LE asked them not to put that out there. But I definitely heard the reporter clearly.
Whoa. Now this is something new. Could this have been entirely random, someone just looking for easy entry to a home, any home, to commit a robbery? Interesting...

Hope FBI is checking Walmart cameras and purchases. That surely is a lot of ground to cover, as there are so many of those stores.

Agreed but I have been unable to find the exact style. LOL My first inclination was to go to LL Bean.

So around the cuffs---is that a different color on the inside cuff, like a sherpa fleece ?

Maybe something like this?

I recall listening to this too.

Actually I can faintly see the stripe in that photo as well.
Maybe. What makes me think he has the chest strap fastened is in the video how the completely full bag does not shift when he bends over. But 🤷‍♀️
