yeah, i suppose they might be able to accelerate a lot of the steps, and just ordinarily don't because they're usually applying it to cold cases.It took about 3 weeks in the Kohberger case, but they did it because they knew it had to belong to the perpetrator. Here they've got a pair of gloves, which could have a bunch of innocent explanations.
Unless they have more information, I can't see them doing that.
But who knows, they may have found something in the house (blood, touch DNA on a particular relevant object).
