Here’s the Reuters report. Prepare to be enraged:

Wait! Hold up, instead of allowing FBI to utilize Quantico. This local sheriff wants to send evidence to a private lab in Florida. I’m so dumbfounded by this Sheriff.

I hope Locals remember this when they hit polling locations

Yes! My mom has always said if they take you off and kill you, you might never be found. So fight like hell right where you are so they have to do what they're going to do right there. 😢
Do we have the same mom? Mine told me if they take you to another locations you're already dead, make them do it where you are.

As soon as a I heard of this case it came to mind immediately, it's very likely something she taught her own daughters.

Ive felt sorry for him at times in this case but my sympathy has evaporated now - the sheriff needs to go.

He has been bloody useless from day 1 in this case and now it seems like he is hampering the investigation

I’m enraged so I only wonder how angry Savannah and the family will be with him
I'm with ya. When I saw the reports all over about him being at a basketball game I thought "gimme a break."

But this is just... Something else.

Happened too in the Gilgo Beach investigation. That took over a decade to solve:
"Timothy Sini, Suffolk County Police Commissioner from 2015 to 2017, said detectives were blocked from sharing information with the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit, which would have assisted with the profiling of the killer."

If the locals are blocking the FBI they have truly lost the plot! @#$&!

That's what I thought. He was comfortable with the bite light. He had used it before and chose it over a head light or flash light. So what professions or hobbies use this light? Yes something at night, or inside dark recesses. Not outdoor day light workers. Electricians, plumbers, etc.
Mechanics. I believe they also wear similar gloves to the ones he was wearing.

I’d like to know more about this before jumping to conclusions. According to the Reuters article, the county already spent a bunch of money doing DNA tests through this lab. This implies the lab already has comparative samples and reference samples, and it’s unclear if FBI has any of this. It may simply be far more expedient to use the contract lab at this point. Lot of pot-stirring going on lately.

SIL is very tall based on the family holiday pic. Way taller than 5’9”. Who is DE?
Nah, SIL is in pictures with NG and AG, in both he is only a little taller maybe 2-3inches and we know from LE that Nancy is 5'5

So I just did a google explore search. I did custom dates from 1/1/25 until 1/30/26. The only time her home was searched for was on January 18th, and it was searched 29 times. I am hoping that they were able to find out from where and maybe that is pushing the dates.
Oh that’s interesting and pretty significant. I wonder if SG by chance mentioned her mom or anything on the show that day that ticked someone off. What other events happened that day that could have triggered 29 searches for her home. I’m sure LE has checked into that but it’s worth submitting it as a tip.

A lot being said about the possible 'bite light' in lantana mans mouth and so I wanted to post up a run down of the most likely people to have such a light handy.

Common user profiles include:
Pilots (especially general aviation and night flyers) — They use models like the Flight Gear Bite Light with white light for pre/post-flight checks and red light to preserve night vision in the cockpit.

Theater technicians, lighting crew, stagehands, and wardrobe personnel — In tech theater and backstage work, bite lights (often called "bitelites") are popular for climbing ladders, focusing lights, quick changes in dark wings, or when carrying gear.
Mechanics, auto technicians, or anyone working under vehicles/dashboards — Hands are occupied with tools, so mouth-held light helps see tight spaces.

Performers or quick-change artists (sometimes in drag, costume, or low-light creative work) — Soft, teeth-friendly versions exist for hands-free illumination during fast changes or detailed work.

Jewellers and Crafting Hobbyists — Anyone who works regularly with crafts that require both hands to be free during intricate work.

DIYers, electricians, plumbers, or home repair folks — Anyone who's ever held a regular flashlight in their mouth under a sink or in an attic ends up appreciating a purpose-built bite version.

Outdoor/night workers — Like some night fishing setups (though "bite light" there more often means bite indicators/alarms), or cavers/explorers who prefer mouth-held options over headlamps in tight spots.
Jewelers and musicians you say?

I have been posting about this however technicians/laborers who go into small spaces and need hands free - like HVAC techs. She just had the roof (repainted?) and it appeared to have a lot of piping etc on it...this was reported earlier in the thread and was the roof the FBI was on that we watched from the drone (when they removed another camera?)

So the current description is a male suspect approximately 5'9" - 5"10" tall, with an average build.

But what kind of male suspect are they looking for?

Are they looking for a white male? A black male? A hispanic male? A middle eastern male? A oriental male?

What kind of a male suspect does the public needs to be on the lookout for?
"Large boulder size of a small boulder" comes to mind.
