Culver's is a fast-food type restaurant with inside tables and a drive-thru. <modsnip>

There are a lot of snowbirds in Arizona and this is a Midwestern-type chain.

I've never seen a Bitcoin kiosk at a Culver's.

It was a traffic stop and I'm pretty sure that was the safest pullover site. Culver's would have no significance to anything. Just happens to be near where this guy was driving.

Anybody in the home where they are executing the search will be “detained.” I wouldn’t infer everyone detained is a suspect.

I sadly agree that the switch from a press conference to a written statement could indicate they made a discovery they’re not ready to share.

I absolutely understand WS’s policies from a legal perspective, but it’s frustrating to not be able to freely talk about whose house it is and why it’s controversial?! I try to stay off X and Reddit because they’re so toxic most of the time, but I guess I have no choice but to dive in. Frustrating

It's to protect a seemingly innocent home owner. Anyone innocent shouldn't have their name connected to what's going on right now. You mention someone's name, and people run with it. Best to only share info that is backed up with main stream news sources. It's a very good rule.

Possible, but unlikely IMO due to the large amount of LE vehicles going into the scene. I wouldn’t think there would be this kind of response for ransom hoax. But, again MOO

If this person that was purported to live in a home that turns out not to be the home but literally across the street from the home, there would be levels of absurdity and coincidence about this case that will make me consider whether I am, in fact, living in an augmented reality shaped by an algorithm of chaos and malignancy.

Swat teams served a warrant at a house in the rain. 1 man and 1 woman detained. While the house situation was developing with SWAT, a white van was stopped and one male detained.

Lots of LE and FBI are at the house. Forensics are there as well. House location was 1.9 miles from Nancys.

BE had the scoop for the first bit. No other big MSM knew it was happening til 30-45min into his.

No word on how this is all related but we are told it is related to Nancy.
