How does this search activity compare to Gabby Petito? Different circumstances but not in the sense of a search.
Verified evidence. IIRC LE had a known POI, her

The sheriff keeps talking out of both sides of his mouth.
I'm not one of the ones who found the APS card to be of significance, however, I haven't heard this theory before and it's definitely something to look into if it hasn't been already (by officials). Good thinking outside the box!Alternate theory on APS: What if NG had a scheduled appointment with the investigator for Sunday morning before church. Would an investigator show up at her house unannounced or try to contact her by phone or email first? Suppose she called previously because she suspected one of her friends or neighbors was being abused, so they scheduled to come to her house to discuss her concerns instead of her having to drive or take an Uber. The investigator went to her house on Sunday morning for their appointment, but she didn't answer the door, so the investigator left their card at the door. The investigator wouldn't call the police just because NG didn't answer the door at their scheduled time, they would call her later to reschedule. If NG did report suspected abuse, maybe the kidnappers were aware of her suspicions and kidnapped her to prevent her from talking. The sheriff wouldn't tell the media that the card was about an ongoing investigation into abuse. All MOO, just a theory.
Yes true and I forgot about the Circle K down the road from NGs! I don't know whether the video they saw there told them anything or not. We were talking several days ago in here about the two grey vehicles driven by people they investigated (one was the RR and the other was driven by the first person they detained whose initials escape me atm). I haven't heard anything more about grey vehicles tho.I keep thinking about the gas station camera that captured Kohberger's car in Moscow, ID. Those types of business security cameras must exist in Tucson too? I'm sure there are several directions they might have driven, but as you say, how many cars would be on the roads between 2 and 3 am? I wish there would be that sort of evidence at least suggesting a direction for LE to investigate. MOO

This is disgraceful!
The Governor or Attorney General should be brought in
They need to stand this Sheriff down
Let the FBI take full control now
Personally, I would be taking Legal Action If it were my family member
I don't know why the Gurthrie family isn't getting more involved on whats happening with this investigation into their poor mother
This sheriff is picking which networks he wants to talk to
Instead of holding Media Conferences. Communication is the key!
I also feel very sad for the neighbours who have not slept and are scared of what has happened to Nancy.
We still have not been told if this was a forced entry or not
We haven't even been told what clothes Nancy was wearing when she went out.
What a mess!

I would say it's an assumption that AG would call her mother to ask her to take an Uber. Perhaps, NG offered to take an Uber to go to AG's house to maintain her independence. Who knows? Why are we even delving into conjectures about family dynamics?I ask rhetorically, am I the only one who wonders how many other times over the years AG called her mom to tell her she'd have to use Uber for Friday night's game night with AG and her SIL at their house a short distance away?
I don't think we know the Guthrie family isn't extremely involved. In fact JMO they are absolutely as involved as a family can get in a kidnapping.View attachment 647370

Is there a source that AG called her mom to tell her to use an Uber? I’ve been away so missed that.I ask rhetorically, am I the only one who wonders how many other times over the years AG called her mom to tell her she'd have to use Uber for Friday night's game night with AG and her SIL at their house a short distance away?
Consider the following:

Yes, I know the Sheriff has softened that statement since he made it eight days ago.

I hadn't read about this gem show theory. Very interesting!I still think there may be something to the gem-show angle. Someone posted footage here of two people suspected of taking a box from the show a few days after NG’s disappearance. The footwear, clothing and gait are all interesting, let’s say. But the post was deleted.

As far as I'm concerned, LE has cleared the Guthrie family, and that's where it stands. I don't think it's fair to try to find a fifth leg on a cat just because it's a slow news night. Everyone is frustrated, and NG's entire family isn't sitting around having fun while this is unfolding.
These are adult children of an elderly woman who has been abducted and suffered an act of violence in her home. She's disappeared. She might never be found. They have to deal with this as her children, but also as the parents of her grandchildren and with the whole world watching.
- They have been victims of a crime.
- Their mother might be dead and her body can't be found.
- Their mother might be alive and suffering.
- Perfect strangers feel completely comfortable dissecting presence, absence, silence, words just because SG is a journalist and a public figure.
- Every time the phone rings they have to hold their breath waiting to see if there are any news.
Can we PLEASE, for the love of whatever it is each and every one of us believes in, stop speculating about the family? Put yourselves in their shoes for a second.
Imagine that once (in the most banal way) you did something to a parent, whether it's tell them to go to CVS themselves, or take an Uber, or not call until after 9 a.m. because you want to sleep in, or not answer the phone because you were just not in the mood, and then...Lord help us...something happens to that parent and the whole world starts speculating about how crappy you were to them and maybe you had something to do with what has happened.
My mother has been dead, of natural causes, for nearly ten years, and I still torture myself about the times I rolled my eyes at her chatter. Do we REALLY think that her children are not completely floored by the little things they did/didn't do while NG is missing?
These people, famous though they may be, are dealing with their mother's disappearance, and 100% guaranteed they have revisited every what if ad nauseam...all while the whole world is watching. There is not a bit of peace available to them right now, and it's heartbreaking.

I can't see a video on the link (maybe because I'm in Canada?) but THANK GOODNESS! I recall him saying this that first week and had looked everywhere, but it may have been a live hit and just no clip anywhere because it really so very insignificant. Other than she was actually able to walk up to the house, like the amazon delivery guy and media, IMOBrian just said on the NewsNation special that one of his producers saw the lady from Adult Protective Services put the card in the door.

I posted that video... not sure why it was deleted. I think if you go on X/Twitter and search for "Tucson gem show theft" you will find it. In the video they are actively stealing from a vendor and their face isn't really visible, so I'm not sure why they are entitled to privacy. It's also posted on Instagram in better definition by the owners of the gems that were stolen under their username 'mineralclassics'. I wish mods would let it be posted because the gait similarity seems like almost a perfect match to me.So if people planning to rob the gem dealers next door had typed in the dealers’ correct home address, they wouldn’t have been led to NG’s house by Google Maps. Is that correct?
