GUILTY NC - PFC Kelli Bordeaux, 23, Fayetteville, 14 April 2012 - #11

I don't recall it being mentioned, but is the MPI office involved in any way with the investigation? considering they have a missing soldier?

(military police investigations)

Army CID is involved; they are the ones who are now offering the $25,000 for one-year.

If NH did something to her, she is probably close by.

I agree. She's in his awareness space. I wonder what his alibi is for after he dropped her off at the apartments and if that could be verified.

if i remember correctly, she wasn't reported missing until she didn't show up for work, correct? in any case i think he had at least a half-day to a day if he was involved. the guy lives in a tent in the woods so i doubt anyone paid too much attention to his comings and goings however i do recall indication that he was verified as having returned to the bar at some point after dropping her off (correct me if i'm wrong).

yes, by her boss

yes, by her boss

If marriage was as good as hubby says, I would have thought he would have been the one to report her missing. Might have been interesting if her boss had not been the one to report her missing..

so the perp had basically thirty hours or so before she was reported missing. not that he would have known that, but you figure he'd at least know he had a few hours (esp if he sent the last text about being home safe). if it was nh, maybe he went back to the bar to have an alibi then did something with her later that night in which case she wouldn't necessarily be somewhere close or obvious.

bbm ~ It depends on who the perp is. The husband would be more likely to know that she wouldn't be getting together with anyone on Saturday and/or Sunday and have an idea of her usual weekend routine. He'd also know her work hours yet there was a confusing story spun at one time (by him?) on that subject too.

If this were the case, then she would have had to have been dead for a lengthy period while in his car and this type of scent would likely have been identified. My understanding is that his car has been forensically searched, and since no arrest has been made I'm assuming that not much was found pointing to an obvious murder and coverup by him in this regard. As such, if he did something by himself and in the heat of the moment, then she is more likely to have been disposed of nearby and in relatively quick fashion.

were there ever any searches done in the area(s) NH lived prior to staying behind the bar?

we don't have any info one way or another but in an earlier thread we discussed that if he did dump her somewhere it would make sense that it was a place he felt safe that would be unlikely to be searched by le (given the benefit of hindsight that she hasn't been found in a year). i'd definitely say the woods around a place he used to live, a friend's house, etc. it was mentioned that he took care of dogs for someone, so the area around their house would be a good spot too.

I think I'd be keeping my eyes on NH if he gets released. Places he goes, people he talks to may give LE a new direction to go in since it certainly seems they have stalled out.

The did search a pond near a house he used to squat in, "based on a tip" but found nothing. No word if they searched the area of Spring Lake where he had his address registered (his mom's house).

Police executed a search warrant on Nick's mom's trailer on Shady Grove Road; however, no search of the woods/water around that area has ever been carried out.

In this day and age with science and technology, it's hard for me to believe that so many people are getting away with murder. Looking around at this website, we are seeing way too many. Kelli is still missing after a year, that's inconcievable.

There seem to be a lot of gals missing after a night out at a bar. Tracy Ocasio, Terrilynn Monete, Kelli Bordeaux. What happens to these girls?? Are they being drugged, are they drunk, are they trusting the wrong people to help them get home??? All of them were last seen with a man, none of them have been seen since. None of the men have been arrested in regards to these cases. Even when they know who these gals are with, they don't have proof to lead to an arrest. At least not yet. These women need justice, these women need to come home, these women's families needs answers. IMO, JMO, MOO.

well it sounds like there are some areas that could be searched, if they haven't been...is there any searching being done still?

Good post! I feel the same way, and believe what is happening is that thugs are becoming smarter and no longer being caught off guard by DNA linking them to a crimes like was happening a few years back when advances in DNA allowed many cold cases to then be solved.

Regarding gals going missing or murdered after being in a bar at night - one common denominator is when she gives someone she's just met, or doesn't know well a ride home, or gets a ride from this sort of person - is the perp acting on impulse once alone in a car... considering they are not being caught seems they have a plan in place to attack/rape all along and just are waiting for a victim..
