Done in poor taste and misinformation

What was the bad information? I followed this case but not as closely as many others did.

Do you have a link to watch online?

The remark he made about her getting him mad because made a derogatory comment about him being a sex offender is typical of the way killers, instead of having remorse, look to come up with something to justify what they did...

Well, good that he will not be able to harm anyone else. But I wonder, considering his previous lifestyle of living out of his car, how worse off he'll be n prison.

:behindbar You've got a good point, OldSteve -- When it rains, sleets, ices over or snows, he'll be nice and warm, and he can take a warm shower and shave, if it's his shower day. His food will be hot and fresh -- and occasionally good -- and he won't have to put a plastic tarp over his lean-to, or have to move if ownership of the bar changes or if it goes out of business. No having to sleep in his truck. Three meals, clean room, a mattress on a sort of bunk instead of a nasty (I'm guessing) sleeping bag, no worrying about $$ for gas or $$ for food. He may or may not have a canteen deposit benefactor, but if he gets a job, maybe after 3-4 months, he'll have enuff for canteen money. Tuff life, but I see it as a movin'-on-up kind of thing for the child molester, kidnapper, killer. He may even find a Big Brother -- and a variation of "child" molestation. What a pity that would be. :boohoo:

I watched this episode. I surely wasn't impressed with the way Kelli was portrayed.

Maybe it's good I cut off cable TV years ago. Now I get my wrong information mostly from the Interwebs.

Next Saturday, October 25th @ 10pm EDT on CBS

is "48 Hours" and the episode is about the KB case. I saw previews and they interview the P.I. quite a bit.

Should be interesting!

My Tivo is already set since I have a season pass to that show.

For those that miss it, it will be online at cbs.com some point after it airs (maybe up to a week later).

Show left out of lot of factual information

I stand corrected.

Saturday October 24th 10pm EDT

Set your DVRs, everyone!

Since show length is only 42 minutes, there are usually details left out in all these type of shows. Some of those details may be ones we case followers don't know about and would never miss, since only case insiders (investigators, DA, those close to the investigation, family) would be privy to all the information. Our awareness is limited to only those details made public.

THE HUNTER: SEARCHING FOR KELLI BORDEAUX

When a young U.S. Army combat medic goes missing, a bounty hunter takes on his biggest case ever.
Produced by Marc Goldbaum, Paul LaRosa and Jonathan Leach
Oct 24

"When Kelli Bordeaux went missing it was huge," Marshburn said. "It was all over the national news. It got attention everywhere."

"Why do you think that is?" "48 Hours" correspondent Troy Roberts asked.

"Because she was a young female ... Fort Bragg soldier. It's a story," he replied. "She's one of ours that protect us. So I felt the need to protect her. I'm thinking, 'You can help find this person ... That's what you're good at, do it.'"

After all, Marshburn, a newly-minted private investigator, makes his living as a full-time bounty hunter.

Inside a bounty hunter's pursuit
"How many criminals have you captured would you say?" Roberts asked.

"If I had to guess a number, over 500," Marshburn replied.

I would be interested to know what the locals thought about the show. Any one still here?

A lot of people (searchers) from the Fayetteville area are mad about being snubbed by the show.

The show should be called 48 seconds because basically that is all it takes to tell what transpired in the Kelli Bordeaux case.

This is the first case that I have followed from day 1 and then saw it on 48 hours. Seems like a lot left out of the show.
