I wonder if the "male friend" discussed by NH plays into this at all.

Sorry, can't link with my kindle...remember the Vincent Brothers case? He has a thread here somewhere. He went to Ohio for a "visit" with his family (something he hadn't done before), and while gone, his entire family in Bakersfield CA was slaughtered. It was proven in court that he drove a rental car (bugs indigenous only to western States in grill and car had never been there) 5400 miles. He is on death row...no cell pings, no gas receipts, and brother used his debit card so it would look like he was still in Ohio.

All that to say, where there's a will there's a way...JMHO

TY . Im sure talking to the ones they know were there they will find out the names of otheres that were. also debit and credit receipts.

We have a few sleezy bars around here that only take cash. Honkey Tonks!

I can guarantee that the police do have a complete list of everyone that is there. Do not forget that as I have stated many of the customers there are "regulars" Even those that were random probably knew someone there and the regulars have probably taken note of those.

True enough. Of course a show like The First 48 isn't going to concentrate on the cases that take a long time to solve or even go cold for a few years. But no matter what show it is, in comparison real life cases are more tedious, slow, and the finer details are not known until the legal portion begins (whether that's a trial or plea deal).

And the general public will always feel left out, like their favorite episode of CSI is on and someone unplugged the TV.

I'm surprised when people are surprised that LE knows more than they tell. I mean...this is not some new thing. Ever watch old Dragnet episodes from the 60's? Even fictional character Jack Friday kept information close to the vest. That's a given.

Columbo was my fave. I don't know how many people, like me, came upon Websleuths during Caylee's case. In Florida they have the 'Sunshine laws' where all discovery is available to the public. Even then, we were sure that LE must be holding some key evidence close to their vests that, during trial, would blow the case wide open. Didn't happen. :maddening:

I just wish there was something we could do to help. It seems everything moves so slowly when time is of the essence. That said, I understand LE has methods that help them gather information - like if a suspect knows a tidbit of info that they never released.

I would think that if he was at the bar that evening, and we don't know if he was or wasn't, he could possibly have a motive for Kelli's disappearance as well, seeing that he may have noticed Nick taking her home.

I agree...

The tall guy isn't the husband? Been confused about that.

I think the tall guy is her sisters either hubby or boyfriend.... early on she said she came from Fort Stewart when she found out and in presser the brother says the military runs in their family and pointed at him

I am pretty sure that is Kelli's brother in law. Her sister is married. I am almost certain that is her husband.

the one filed by her coworker.. yes

http://dig.abclocal.go.com/wtvd/docs/041912_kelli_bordeaux_missing_person_report.pdf

(says she was accounted for until 5pm on friday.... noticed missing at 8am monday... and reported around 1pm... nothing much else in the report)

Hello everyone...my first posting but have been following this all week. Does anyone else find it 'odd' that the initial MPR indicates BAR/NIGHTCLUB/LOUNGE when the person(s) reporting are co-workers and weren't with her (apparently) on Friday night nor did any of them (apparently) speak with her on the weekend? If she was first missed when she didnt show up for work on Monday.... why would BAR/NIGHTCLUB/LOUNGE be listed straight away? I don't know - just sort of find that odd, and I don't know why, for sure.....
