nurse, I'm following you...could MH have been the designated driver for a others also?

well... that is what I am thinking:what: he "doesn't drink"... and remember when her sister heard from her that she was going out drinking that night? So yeah... was this guy like the DD taxi for people at the bar?

hypothetical of course

Thanks, VOH. Yes, I had assumed it's just a 'generic' report. But I guess I assumed it was the initial report and written up when initially reported straight away - so that in there sort of jumped out at me in that she got off work friday at 5 so that would be her last 'known' whereabouts according to the individual that reported it. I think. Sounds rambly, but makes sense in my head! :waitasec:

Exactly. I starred at that simple paper a long time. Her unit has nothing to do with this imo other than they missed her on Monday morning, couldn't find her after trying to track her down so reported her missing.

Ohhhhh hell....I think you mean NH and not MH but I'm thinking designated driver here.

I thought it was pretty fast for command to do something too. Had military two doors down looking for neighbor that didnt show up. They were trying to break in to garage. But they hadnt showed up for days. moo

so, he was the logical choice to drive her home if she wanted to leave earlier than the others.

Oh this angle makes sense as to why she would have called Nick in the first place!!!(not confirmed that she did, for the record)

I think we now know why she didn't drive herself.

now, how many others were with her from the start, if any?

I think that the folks in her military chain of command have some critical information. not showing up for formation at 8 am and being reported missing at 1 is a little quick in my opinion

The same thing happened when Maria Lauterbach did not show up for duty.

The MPR was filed very early. Imo, they want it on file quickly in case the soldier has gone AWOL although that did not happen in this case, imo.

imo

And also why he was always hanging around the bar.

A couple of points I've been wondering about.

Someone mentioned it earlier and I'm going to mention it again. What is NH's alibi for after he "dropped Kelli off"? Is his alibi credible?

If NH has something to do with this I wonder why he would choose the location he did to say he dropped her off at? I wonder if some sort of evidence will be found in between where he says he dropped her off and her home? He might say that something must have happened to her on the way at that point.

Another thing that hasn't been mentioned much is in regards to the husband. Central Florida to North Carolina isn't a short drive. Surely there are toll booths along the way with cameras. Surely the round trip can't be made on one tank of gas. He would have to stop to pay tolls and refill his gas tank. There would be some sort of record along the way if MB made this trip aside from having been seen in FL during the time frame..

mister nurse is a LTC... I will ask him about this when he gets home (re: time frame for filing missing p. r. on awol soldier.. because frankly when you don't show up for duty that is what you are: absent without leave)

Im guessing somebody. Why would u mosey on down to a bar by yourself on a friday night. Usually u meet friends. moo

And also why he was always hanging around the bar.

and, why the owner didn't know he drank. Because, the owner never saw him drink because he knew he was the taxi.

probably he was accepted (for whatever reasons) and began to feel at home there - another case of just accepting someone for who they say they are - not suspecting he'd hurt anyone, etc.

exactly....wonder if she mentioned it to others in her company, and they tagged along, being it's a free ride. Don't have to worry bout getting caught with a DUI.

no toll booths from there to NC....I've driven it down to Orlando from NC and I live in SC.
