So...did they pull out from the pond? And, I missed the info on pants belonging to Nick. Did they get them from the pond area or just in the woods? How far was his campsite from the pond?

1) Google streetview is by Froggy Bottoms. It is actually coming off the on-ramp (so going in the wrong direction) of 295. Where the Blue Moon truck is, Froggy Bottoms is immediately on the left (or North bound side) It appears to be older footage. You can see it at the later point in the video.

2) The gentleman outside of Froggys seen in the video is a customer, a regular. This is not Pointdexter.

Stories like these make me amazed I lived thru my 20s. I've done such stupid things with stupid people and am still here... I guess its just luck of the draw...

VOH - are there any other video surveillance possibilities in this area that police could be viewing for tips/clues?

Depending on what route is taken from the bar, there could be lots of video or no video. If 295 is taken, there is no video and the roads are pretty much empty at that time of the morning. If Ramsey street was taken, there are lots of gas stations and stores that have surveillance cameras. In order to go to Kelli's apartment from the bar, you must make a u-turn at a light. You must then pass a kagaroon-mart in a 24-hour gas station. They have cameras, I am sure.

Ur only about 80 miles down I95 from my workplace.
Never been to Fayetteville, NC, but passed it on I95 a thousand times.

I totally renamed the store! Perhaps it is from my comparison to other cities, but Fayetteville isn't "that bad" Though stories like this and other recent events don't make it sound that way. It does have it's parts though.

You and me both! I grew up in the 70's, so it was extra weird with all the serials out there...

By the time my daughters were growing up, I was a paranoid freak about their safety..still am even though they are in their 20's and 30's...

I hear ya! When my girls were growing up, WS wasn't around. If it had been, I couldn't have done it. I have one daughter that is just like me and has her own daughter now (in my avatar) and I feel for her. Thankfully she isn't on WS.

The bar owner – who would not give his name – said Bordeaux was at the bar Friday night with Nicholas Holbert. He said Holbert was not a bar employee but lived in a tent behind the bar and came there often.

The bar owner said a tab for $28 from Friday night was attributed to Holbert and Bordeaux, although he said Holbert does not drink. The tab was $28 for four shots and four beers.

Nick's campsite was behind the Froggy Bottom bar, the pond is 10 to 15 minutes away. However, according to a family that owns property near the pond, Nick used to live in a house on the property that is now abandoned.

It seems like Nick has only been hanging around the bar for the past few months. We don't know when he left the property near the pond or if he was living there as a squatter in an abandoned house.
