So, did Kelli want to be taken home early and Nick planned on settling the tab when he returned and did not return? (thus tab unsettled?)

Good thoughts. It is my understanding of how Froggys operates that once the tab is closed the records are not kept. The tab keeping system is simply writing it down on an index card next to the cash register. Once the tab is cleared, the index card is trashed.

I cannot answer the other question though.

Have they named the husband even as a POI?

I just posted an article earlier this morning stating they have confirmed he was in Florida. The Florida police said that the NC police had been in touch with them. I think the Florida LE verified he was in Florida,imo.

That would be some fast driving there and back and then accomplish everything else too, imo.

And boy wouldnt he be lucky that the last person known to have seen Kelli alive was a registered sex offender?

If you speed on I-75 the state troopers will zap you. They patrol that interstate continously night and day in every state he would have to go through.

I also read he is back in NC since his wife disappeared. So I dont think he had anything to do with this.

I think this is a case where the truth lays right in that bar that night and who saw her there and the sick ideas they may have had in thier head.

I am not buying MHs story either. It makes no sense that he would let a young woman off in the dark to walk the rest of the way home alone. (supposedly)

Sorry I hadn't seen the article where his whereabouts were confirmed. I guess my main concern is that they zero in on one suspect while the real offender is off the hook. If the husband's whereabouts are confirmed and he is truly cleared he has to be disheartened on many angles. His wife is missing first and foremost. Secondly she was going to a bar with someone she just met and kept it from him. I am not trying to put any blame whatsoever on the victim, but for a man that is difficult. It would be both devastating and confusing at the same time.

He is confirming his own whereabouts here, not LE. and

again, they do not confirm one way or the other...
I find it to be worded funny, giving the impression that they have confirmed it...but in actuality...I do not see that it has been confirmed.

Froggy Bottom's was empty this morning. I did not notice any police cars at all along Ramsey Street around 730 AM and I drove the entire length of it from before Froggy's South.

The reporter is reporting on what the police have told them. and the police told them that they have confirmed IMO that he was not with his wife the night she disappeared. No where does it say Mike just told them this and confirmed it just by his word.

LE doesnt take the word of any person. Their whereabouts are checked out and verified.

So I interpret it to mean LE has told the media that they have confirmed that he was not in NC when Kelli disappeared.
