That last picture of her... notice the picture on the mirror. I wonder who that is.

A "person of witness"... wow, makes sense to me.

I have noticed several times that users have mentioned

It was Friday the 14th & Military pay day

Am I crazy or was it Friday 13th? And isn't payday for military the 1st & 15th?
Sorry I just want to make sure I haven't lost my mind!

Usually, but the 15th was on a Sunday so it bumped back to the 13th.
If what I'm reading is correct http://paycheck-chronicles.military.com/2011/12/07/2012-active-duty-military-pay-days/

Sorry- had to edit bc I put too many "http"s in..lol this is what happens when I stay up past bedtime :p

I couldn't agree more. I just think about how Ive met people and given them my phone number or visa versa and texted back and forth. I can't stand to talk on the phone and I see a common trend amongst my generation echoing the same sentiments. We grew up in an age of instant messaging, email and text messaging. It was always much more convenient to text back and forth than talk on the phone and it was something you could do all through the day. I hardly ever call people unless I'm going out and meeting up with them or picking them up or being picked up. Idk if NH even had txt on his phone bc most have speculated that it was probably prepaid and most prepaid phones I've seen don't offer a lot as far as that goes. I just can't see someone meeting someone a few wks ago, having hardly any contact with said person, and calling them to come give her rides to and from the bar and hang out without knowing if they'd even enjoy themselves around the person. To me, it's just kinda weird MOO.

VOH said she had been frequenting the bar and becoming a regular or something along those lines.

If she wasn't used to drinking she would have had a good buzz, 4 shots and 4 beers in 6 hours is a lot for someone not used to drinking. Probably not drunk but, a good buzz and especially if she hadn't eaten before.

I wonder if her car was at home or someone else had borrowed it. It seemed to be a sore subject for her sister.

Actually, you can swap text, as well as, photos on those. Those phones do everything now.

Her phone should have had GPS on it.

Yeh someone was talking about how much the prepaid phones have on em now. I know the Virgin prepaid phones do everything mine do and some have unlimited txting now so I wonder if maybe they used it to become more acquainted. Her phone is like mine and unless she turned the feature off- it should still be on. When i got my first iPhone i had read somewhere that turning it off would save battery time...hopefully hers was left on.

Also, VOH had made a comment earlier that they thought they read somewhere that the car was cleared. I think, if I understood correctly. I haven't heard or seen anything else about it.

There have been no clear reports on her car or the status of her car. I have been asking where her car was found and VOH only replies, "no comment".
There seems to be something hinky about her car but I do not know what it is or if it is even important.

I have a question.
Can LE get the suspected perps cell phone info, pings, call log, gps locations?

It doesnt seem that LE could just get that private info for just anyone. Do they need a search warrant or what?

Her sister is asked about the car in her first interview. She was not happy about being asked. I wonder if she was upset because KB may have let a friend borrow it and that is why she didn't have it that night.

Her and her "Friend" may have even become good buddies with Nick and started hanging out regularly. I wonder if they ever went swimming with him at that pond he lived near.

I wonder if she drove her car there and left it. She knew she had too much to drink and drive home and maybe planned to go back and get it the next day.
But I don't know why they would not share that info.[ If it is correct/ ]

IDK... I wonder if they may be able to get a warrant and serve it on the phone company without the perp even having knowledge of it. Or the perp may have one of those prepaid phones that can't be tracked.

It has been mentioned that her and Nick had prior plans that he would pick her up and take her home.

The reason I am asking is because it would make sense to me that LE could check NH cell activity and determine if he left the area or where his cell pinged, etc that evening, hopefully leading them to Kelli.

LE may not be able to obtain the records of others phones without affidavits and warrants but, her being military may elevate the need another way... KWIM?

He probably wouldn't hesistate to give his phone to be checked if it would help find her.

I think her is in jail for his own safety.

For some reason I think he may know who may have harmed her... he said he hopes she is found and he "wants closure for the family".

The perp must be a mean SOB.

Pre paid phones can be tracked as far as I know. My 13 yr old GS has virgin mobile for emergency use . I can log onto his account and see every call to/from and also log of all text messages made with all phone numbers. It also has tracking GPS. He was given the phone just in case he has an emergency and we need to find him. Read this forum too much/ phone was my idea.

Good morning everyone. The car situation is really bugging me. I've considered two things that just might be why Kelli called Nick for a ride to Froggy's. The car may have needed to be worked on, and was at the mechanics. She might have been having some problem with it. Or could it be Mike had her car in Florida? Either is a possibility because we know that Mike says he was buying another car while in Florida.

My question has always been, how did Mike get to Florida in the first place without a vehicle. Of course one of his parents could have picked him up, knowing in advance that he wouldn't be able to drive two cars back by himself. Or, he took Kelli's car down there, and traded it in on whatever it was that he ended up buying?

So, say Kelli didn't have a car handy for two weeks, there was no one at the apartment complex that she could hitch a ride to work with, what would be her next alternative transportation? A bus? Well here is the bus schedule. And, do we know if Kelli works on base or at the VA hospital?

Last Call Sports Bar
5395 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311

Safe place to hang out and have fun. Staff and patrons take no crap and just want to have a good time. Pool, darts, cornhole, jukebox, multiple tvs, video games and lottery machines! Upstairs lounge open on Friday/Saturday for 25 & older! Drink specials every night of the week. Often weekly hosted game tournaments~ poker, trivia, pool, darts, cornhole and even pot luck food on Sundays
UBBM. BBM.

Probably OT, but what goes on in the upstairs lounge of a "sports bar" that excludes "21-24"?

Back OT...

Again, just a hunch, but maybe Kelli likes bikes. I wonder if she was interested in a guy(s) who has a bike (or finding one)...and/or NH apparently did not ride a bike. So there may have been a conflict.

I dont know about that it could be but...
VOH said nick was at the bar that friday and left to go pick Kelli up!

NOW was it pre arranged or did she call the bar and ask for a ride?
and they asked NH to go pick her up?

If it was pre arranged then they had to have cell records of them communicating.. If not maybe someone in the bar snt NH for her!

Just a thought!
