Actually, you can swap text, as well as, photos on those. Those phones do everything now.

Her phone should have had GPS on it.

With ATT, you can put a pre paid sim card in any phone...even an iphone.

*sent from my phone...auto-correct hates me*

Morning folks.

Just wanted to say there have been some great comments and questions since I was here yesterday evening. (left to watch NASCAR. Avid sports fan here). I really like the comment (I don't know how to quote) about the other female patrons at FB which has me thinking again. I also wonder about KB's draw to FB and who was the guy with KB when NH met her. So MB left for his trip 4/3 (Tuesday) had KB been to FB prior to that date?

Yesterday I said I was leaning toward LE had their man. However today I have crawled back on the fence thinking the person responsible for her disappearance could possibly be someone else in the area. Just goes to show they don't want me on any jury I'd be flip flopping with every statement until they show me that one piece of evidence that shows "beyond a reasonable doubt".

You guys have a great day. Keep those great comments and theories coming. I enjoy the reading.

Im sorry i do not see what attraction Kelli would have toward NH.
Im not seeing it!

I was thinking kelli went there to mees someone and the guy didnt show up
she leaves and NH drops her off at entrancebecause maybe she see the guy at her complex heck maybe he is on a bike!

Ya know peeps we could all write made for tv lifetime movies!
I meant that the conflict may have been within NH or a hypothetical other person.

Since I don't know Kelli, I have no idea whether she was attracted to NH or not.

I've been trying not to get into speculation since we don't have nearly enough substantiated info.

JMO but my guess is that people aren't likely to repeatedly go to biker bars unless they're interested in bikes (and/or the people that ride them) or at least they do not have an "aversion" to bikes. JMO, I think Kelli likes bikes.

I wonder if Kelli had gotten (or been offered) a bike ride from anyone there and someone didn't like that?

? for VOH ~ myself and someone else have touched on the following aspect ~

Did any particular Froggy regular act flirty toward Kelli or she with him? Not in a serious way necessarily but a fun way. Could Kelli have been a threat to any of the female regulars around Froggy? Considering she had come into Froggy's several times by then, could someone's 'old lady' have felt threatened by Kelli's presence?

Do you know of any wacko chicks, especially when they are drunk, who hang out at Froggy's?

I wouldn't consider Kelli's behavior as flirting. She is a friendly person and it's reflected in her actions, but I guess flirting is a matter of perspective. Most of the female regulars are relaxed as well. The ones that aren't are not the type to keep quiet. If something bothered them they would have thrown a hissy fit right then and there and most likely it would have involved their man. However, I cannot say I have seen Kelli's interaction with any of them.

Last Call Sports Bar
5395 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311

Safe place to hang out and have fun. Staff and patrons take no crap and just want to have a good time. Pool, darts, cornhole, jukebox, multiple tvs, video games and lottery machines! Upstairs lounge open on Friday/Saturday for 25 & older! Drink specials every night of the week. Often weekly hosted game tournaments~ poker, trivia, pool, darts, cornhole and even pot luck food on Sundays

Scrub Oaks Bar
5780 Ramsey Street
http://www.scruboaks.com/home.html

Last call is a good bar, but it is more of a club type environment. The music is pop and hip-hop generally. The crowd is more "in" Scrub Oaks is more of a formal place. It serves food. It's a restaurant as well. It's not a place I'd wear jeans to if I was eating there. Those are reasons enough she may have enjoyed Froggy's over those places. Some of us enjoy rock music and a more relaxed environment.

VOH- I think that you may have said something about KB on her way to becoming a regular at Froggys. However, her husband said that he had never been to Froggys - alone or with KB. He moved back to FL on April 3rd, and she has been missing since going out on Friday, April 13th. So, that leaves 10 day span for her to come to Froggys - unless she came without husband before he left town. How could she be on her way to becoming a regular? I know she played pool with her friend Justin. Outside of him,....had she come in there alone or with friends on frequent basis? Or was she becoming a regular just because she was friendly and fit in to the bar crowd during those past 10 days that husband out of town?

She fit in. The people were starting to know her and recognize her. In addition, most people that came to Froggys the first time and came back a second time - became regulars there. It's the type of place either it's your thing or it's not. It really depends what kind of bar environment you prefer.

I think their could be truth to what you are saying.I remember her husband commenting something along the lines that any friends they had their they both knew and were friends with.So its possible her friends at work also knew and were friends with her husband and she did not want it to come out later what she was doing while he was gone.Just wanted to add as I listen to VOH and her husband describe her nightlife its like they are describing two different people.(They only went out for wings and did not drink,a frequent person at FB)

I feel the same way. It reminds me of when I was in the military and about to divorce my husband. I got married a week after I turned 21. By the time we PCS'd to the next duty station (I was 23), I knew I no longer wanted to be married. By the time I was 24, my husband had moved back home to his family. And I was living like a single soldier, while my divorce was being finalized. My soon-to-be ex had no idea who I was hanging out with, or what I was doing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging anyone or pointing fingers. None of us are perfect and we all change as time goes by. But I just feel a similar situation is why Mike didn't know about NH, Froggy's etc. :moo:

He would have been charged with failure to register his vehicle and driving without insurance.

I do not know what would have happened if he told the agency he was homeless. However, I do know if it was me, I would have went to the agency and found out! The only way you can find the answers is by asking. For me, not going to jail would be extremely important and I would do everything I could to find out how to avoid that situation and abide by the law. Ignorance is not an reason, it is an excuse. It is his responsibility and therefore he should take accountability instead of shifting the blame.

There are halfway house's in Fayetteville, he would not have been homeless the courts would have ordered him into a halfway house until he had a job, home and way to provide for himself! He choose to be homeless and choose not to report where he was and what he was doing!

VOH, why would Nick pay KB's Bar Tab that night??? That's what you usually do if you are on a date... Which they were not, so they say...
Also, was bar tab payed before they left, or when he came back???
What time did they leave FB's??

Good morning everyone. The car situation is really bugging me. I've considered two things that just might be why Kelli called Nick for a ride to Froggy's. The car may have needed to be worked on, and was at the mechanics. She might have been having some problem with it. Or could it be Mike had her car in Florida? Either is a possibility because we know that Mike says he was buying another car while in Florida.

My question has always been, how did Mike get to Florida in the first place without a vehicle. Of course one of his parents could have picked him up, knowing in advance that he wouldn't be able to drive two cars back by himself. Or, he took Kelli's car down there, and traded it in on whatever it was that he ended up buying?

So, say Kelli didn't have a car handy for two weeks, there was no one at the apartment complex that she could hitch a ride to work with, what would be her next alternative transportation? A bus? Well here is the bus schedule. And, do we know if Kelli works on base or at the VA hospital?

BBM: I have thought the same thing and had those same questions as well.

Air travel. Bus. Drove with Friend. Kelli might have driven him down & then drove back. He might have had another vehicle of his own to trade in (not sure why it would be assumed that if he did have a vehicle to trade - must be Kelli's).

There are many potential circumstances that might answer that question.

And, there might have been nothing at all wrong with Kelli's car. Maybe she just didn't feel like driving that night. Her Mom is quoted as saying Kelli was going out to drink that night, so if she is the slightest bit responsible, the simplest (Occam's Razor) thought might be that Kelli merely left her car parked somewhere (work, apartment, friend's) while she was out drinking.

Sorry - still waiting for coffee to brew, and pretty hopeless without my first cup. What's the related theory? Bus stalker?

BBM: I have thought the same thing and had those same questions as well.

She would have worked on base. She would need to drive to her job. Perhaps she carpooled with someone, but if so, wouldn't that person have noticed she was missing sooner? Maybe she didn't drive to the bar because she didn't want to get a DUI, but with the bar being so close to her home, that wouldn't be that likely. Maybe she didn't drive because of parking, the lot at FB looks pretty small. Maybe she didn't want anyone to know where she was going, like they might notice her car? I wonder how close she was with her neighbors. Fayetteville is pretty transient, and it is quite possible she didn't know any of them, but perhaps Mike did, and she didn't want them to say anything about her being out.

You cannot be sentenced to a "halfway house" aka community corrections just for being homeless. However if being released from prison and have no where to go...then it can be determined the person can Parole to a halfway house. Halfway houses are Community Corrections...this just would not happen.

However, if he had advised them during his Registration he was homeless he more than likely would have had to check in with the Sheriff Dept monthy as long as his makeshift residence remained the same. Otherwise weekly, or even daily if his residence changed that often. IMHO

It is my understanding he had been staying with family when he was released. He was verified earlier in the month as living in Spring Lake. Supposedly he had been staying behind FB for a while, so either someone lied about him living in Spring Lake or he lied or his parole officer didn't really verify. He had been out of jail for a while, homeless for a few months. One thing I noticed is that on his interviews, he looked pretty clean. Unshaven, but clean. I wonder where he would have access to a shower?

But...The owner or so called owner had a taxi service or a car service
did Kelly call that bar for a ride?
And did they send NICK?

I think I recall reading they live on the "other side" of the city - but that memory is fuzzy.

BBM: Following Eileen's question, is anyone on here aware of any comments/interviews done by NH's parents or any siblings? Do we know if NH has brothers or sisters and if they have made any comments about his arrest or life prior to 4/13/12?
