I completely understand. But I have to say that when someone can not comment as to whether they were there or not there it would lead me to believe that either they were "not there" or the person is not sure if they were there or not. If you were sure that they were there, why not say, " they were there"?

I just don't want to release any information the police might not want released.

Maybe she didn't check the weather??? I really don't know why she was dressed the way she was.

Were other people at the bar that night dressed in shorts, tank tops, flipflops?

Everyone is different. The only time in 26 years my DH or I have removed ring, is when there was a sep and we were not together. Mr. Nurse would hate me, cause i would rag him forever about the lost ring. For me, it is a symbol of our love and that means he better not lose it. LOL

trust me I have ragged on him about it (to no avail) and after he kept loosing them we called a truce

I am not so sure, however, that we know all the "family dynamics" between Kelly and Mike.

I will say this: being married to a military member is not an easy thing and a lot of times is not fun at all (in my experience).

I'm sure their were. It's NC.

I live in SC, and on that night, I had on shorts and a short sleeve shirt.
It's just something we do down here.
Wear shorts most of the time, even when it's kinda chilly.

VOH, Is it your understanding that Froggy's is shutting down? I would just think with such a small amount due on the lease, that the owners would have paid it to continue operation of the establishment? Any insider news from your corner? Comments?

Yes, it is my understanding they will be closing, but not due to the amount due. Or at least that is what I was told.

From what i remember - not as a complete outfit. Some had tanks, some had shorts, some had flipflops - but to my recollection they did not have all three on together.

When I was 23 and going to the bars, I dressed like she is dressed. Even when it was cold out. So did the other girls that age. Also, she is from sunny Florida and probably is used to dressing this way.

VOH, May I ask, were you in shorts, tank top or flip flops on Friday night in question?
Was it Jimmy Buffet Karaoke night perhaps? ....

VOH, I assume you won't answer this, but did you see Nick leave and come back anytime before 1am or 1:30am.

What I'm trying to get at is if Nick left and came back prior to leaving with Kelli

Personally I think that is all the more reason she would be dressed warmer. She is used to Sunny Florida....

I had a friend visit me from UK, she froze and I mean froze......Then she visited in hot summer....She wanted to die....lol. If your not used to the weather in an area, as natives or long time imported folks are, you tend to not handle the climate as well as the natives. That has just been my observation. I could see someone from Sunny florida stepping off a flight not dressed for the weather, but ....I think there was a reason for the way she dressed that night...IMHO

Yo entiendes, Nurse. I am an Army brat..so I undertsand. Also, my DH travels for a living...we have a better financial state because of it...but there are unique problems. Actually, being married takes work, and compromise. I remember the early years of my marriage and if you did not know me and the intent of my heart, you might have thought my DH and I were not going to make it. Until LE looks at the husband, I will give him the benefit of my doubt. Moo

I had on flip flops and a "tank" but with jeans.

I can tell you Kelli and those she was singing with were singing some random songs anywhere from CCR to Grease Soundtrack. I think they did Blind Mellon, Usher, random stuff.

I don't believe he has a thing to do with this:moo:

I get cold quick too because I live in Phoenix. But when I was 23, my girlfriends and I would dress for attention when we were going to the bars. Not saying that she is but...we would wear less than what we should probably be wearing for the attention.

I can only state the obvious, even if I was buzzed. I would not meet someone after a night out with a friend at a bar, having them drop me at midnight or one a.m. in the cold wearing scant clothing, flip flops to wait alone in the cold and dark for them to arrive....I would if nothing else have them drop me at the waffle house or walmart, anywhere. But not in the dark and cold while dressed in summer gear.
Why not have them just pick you up at the bar?The two places are less than a minute apart by car.

Okay..Okay...I concede....lol.
I guess its just me....I hate cold feet...lol. I have been known to sport shorts, tank and combat boots....lol. Keeps the tooties warm...lol

I guess I am the abnormal one....
