I took this from Woe's above post. So, Mike hadn't been home with Kelli, or actually laid eyes on her for 11 or so days. I thought I had heard this, but glad that you found it again and posted it Woe.

? for VOH ~ myself and someone else have touched on the following aspect ~

Did any particular Froggy regular act flirty toward Kelli or she with him? Not in a serious way necessarily but a fun way. Could Kelli have been a threat to any of the female regulars around Froggy? Considering she had come into Froggy's several times by then, could someone's 'old lady' have felt threatened by Kelli's presence?

Do you know of any wacko chicks, especially when they are drunk, who hang out at Froggy's?

I'm also wondering why Kelli would choose Froggy's bar as opposed to the two bars about the same distance the other way from her home. There had to be something there that the others didn't have, or some person that drew her to keep on going there.

VOH- I think that you may have said something about KB on her way to becoming a regular at Froggys. However, her husband said that he had never been to Froggys - alone or with KB. He moved back to FL on April 3rd, and she has been missing since going out on Friday, April 13th. So, that leaves 10 day span for her to come to Froggys - unless she came without husband before he left town. How could she be on her way to becoming a regular? I know she played pool with her friend Justin. Outside of him,....had she come in there alone or with friends on frequent basis? Or was she becoming a regular just because she was friendly and fit in to the bar crowd during those past 10 days that husband out of town?

weird 'hinky' stuff

LE returned to Froggy's because somebody reported an aweful stench outside in the back. LE does not confirm stench but finds muddy sneakers in what could have been NH's lean-to (heard last night while relistening to ABC-11 videos, video dtd. April 19, 2:51 mins.)

In the same video above, they show the wooded entrance to Kelli's apt. where NH supposedly dropped Kelli off.

In subsequent videos, they show the front entrance to Kelli's apt. when explaining that NH dropped Kelli off.

NH states that in the first couple of times Kelli came into Froggy's he had asked her if she was single (note the slight difference - he doesn't ask her if she's married. You can be unmarried but NOT consider yourself single.) Kelli answered him by saying 'it's complicated'. NH goes on to say that he didn't know Kelli was married until LE told him that she was.

On April 26, Mike finally speaks out and says the last date that he saw Kelli in person was April 3.
New picture of Kelli is released but LE won't reveal who she sent it to.

My psychic abilities (that I don't have) lead me to believe her phone was thrown into the fire barrel at Froggy's.
I keep thinking about this even when I try not to.

adding ~ also I still wonder about those evidence cups in one large plastic bag that were collected from the back of
Poindexter's van early on in the investigation. Haven't heard any follow up on that or even why they would have
collected anything from that vehicle.

---Was she interested in someone who went there? Or did she like playing pool, and the other bars didn't have pool tables? Usually a young woman will chose the bar based on place where their friends hang out, or a cute guy goes that they're interested in,... and cheap drinks help. It appears that she was separated, and possibly not wearing a ring. Why didn't she go out with work friends or neighbor, rather than NH? Are most people married at Fort Bragg, so hard to find anyone to go out on Friday night?

They're both POIs in my mind. I don't think LE has officially named any POIs, have they?

Not "calling you out" at all. POI is a term I use as well, regardless of what official title LE or anyone else has used. Further into a case I'll sometimes use "perp," "suspect," and once someone has been charged I'll add "defendant." At this point I personally only consider NH to be the POI (or whatever term you like). I recognize others may see additional POIs (or whatever term is preferred).

I know, it's strange when you think about it, something made her prefer Froggy's. I posted two other bars above that was the same distance in the other direction, and one has pool tables and many more things, so I'm not understanding the attraction to Froggy's.

What are the coincidences that he happened to be the last one seen with her and oops when she is making the short walk to her apartment that night another pervert just happened to come along minutes later?

VOH said that she probably chose Froggy's because it was near to her place - I know the other ones are too but sometimes if you go to one place and like it there you might just stick with it. No rocket science involved. Possibly she went there for the first time with whoever (the guy she was playing pool with when NH says he met Kelli for the first time) and felt comfortable enough to go back there. Her going there alone is sort of weird imo but then again she didn't go alone because she asked NH to pick her up. (if true)

Alzheimer moment: Do we know who that first guy was? Was it the friend who visited her from Florida?

Ummm okay. I wasn't really commenting on MB being a POI or not, but if you need to see it that way go right ahead. I don't see him or NH or anyone suing because of that mistake in that article.

The main point...the important point...is media gets some case details incorrect and this happens all the time from national organizations down to tiny little regional publications. Acceptable? No. Common? Yes. It's why the only true source of real information is a legal document or testimony under oath.
