I've said it before and I'll say it again...I'm not saying hubby had anything to to with her disappearance. However, my gut just says that they were not happy. Too many signs there for me. I know that each couple is different but I have a hard time believing that a happy wife does not tell her husband that she was going out. That a happy husband does not contact his wife for two days and if he tried to did not freak out after, I don't know...hour 8 of not hearing from her. That a happy wife goes out with a childhood friend that happens to a boy without her husband and that a happy wife chooses to spend the evening with another random, newly met friend while her husband is away. I'm sorry...I just don't believe it. Now, what does this mean to me? Probably nothing except that Mike is also a liar. I get it...when you are distressed that the bad in a person or a relationship automatically gets forgiven but still...marriages fail and/or get strained...why lie about it?

I can't stop thinking about this too. Somewhere I saw a picture of him practicing shooting a handgun. The source noted that a gun registration can't be located - I'm assuming that means it should be if you know where to look. :waitasec:

Don't know about that but my husband brought me to an indoor shooting range a couple of times so I would know how it feels to fire a gun. I think the place was in Fayetteville. The gun I used belonged to him and his gun is always registered. So, I guess, MB could be using someone else's gun who was there with him? :waitasec:
I'm not sure when you have a police record, if you're allowed to own a gun.

Handgun practice is different though from rifle practice - right?

No your not allowed to have a gun cant have one in your home either.
And i do not think a gun was involved!

If you ask my hubby, he'd tell you life is a bowl of cherries and I'm the best wife ever.

I do no feel the same.

MB probably does not want to put it out there because he's embarrassed or doesn't want to cause waves with the family right now. JMO

Ok...had to clarify...I'm not saying that women can't go out with friends that are boys and that some women hang out with men more than women but when you put it all together with everything else, I just believe that she was over Mike...

The shooting range/gun pics were on HIS Facebook page.

Same for me, my DH has guns and so do some of his friends. When we go to the range together we will swap guns and fire each others.

Not sure about the police record thing, but I do know that is true for a CCW permit in MI - if you have felonies - no CCW.

In my world, married people never go anywhere with people of the opposite sex..that's just how it is. Unless they're seperated.

SC the same here.
My wife and I both have a CCW issued by the State of South Carolina.

Felonies, no CCW.

I also have a Non-Resident Florida CCW and the same there, Felonies and no CCW.

I dont want to blame him either. Esp if he didnt have anything to do with it.
Id love to know what his alibi is and i hope its better than mom and dad.
He had fri sat he needed to verify his whereabouts... so who saw him
and when? where did he go and whith who? any bars? Where was he
Friday night overnight? he would have to go missing around 4pm that afternoon he could make it there and back by 8 or 9 am the next morning.

Didn't Nick say he asked about Kelli being married and she told him it was complicated? Maybe he assumed Justin was her husband. She might have mentioned he was out of town, so N texted to J thinking he was her hubby. I'm out on a limb here LOL.

Right, but this is what NICK said. Maybe Nick was trying to set the stage for pointing the finger at Kelli's husband...

This isn't directed at you pinki - I am just so annoyed that the only one talking publicly is a RSO.

If Nick didn't do anything to Kelli - he has got to be the unluckiest SOB on the planet!

Where's Madeleine? Sing it girl! lolololol!

We should write a song to the tune of ?, can you guess?

Media, they get their facts all wrong
Media, we can no longer re-lie on
Media, why are you so lazy?, check your facts please
before we all go crazy.

O'kay, I have sung this to the tune of many songs and none fit...what song please and TIA. Does everyone know except me, how embarrassing. Is it so obvious? Help!
I was very resistant at first to listen to Madeleline, because it means I can't go by what MSM reports and here at WS, that IS often what we rely on. But, I now have a little bug in my ear asking..is that what they really said? I have become very skeptical, and apparently for good reason.

If N didn't have something to do with this, I'll eat my shoe. LOL

Has anyone thought of MB possibly hiring Nick to do this? Out on another limb...but ya never know.

My world too Pinki - sometimes I feel so old fashioned!

If I spend time alone with any adult male that is not my husband, it is a co-worker or family member.

I hear ya!

I wouldn't rule anything out with knowing so little right now....

Interesting thought.

This is the hardest part of any missing person's case. The wait...

Hi all. Catching up.

Is the alligator population growing? This article makes it sound like they are not that common or plentiful. Almost a rare occurrance to see them? Just asking because populations can grow rapidly of any animal/reptile/amphibian if conditions are right. TIA
http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/3144525/

I'm not sure if it's increasing. I know a few people said they saw one in a near by lake the other day. I don't think they are as common as in FL or further down river, but there are some.

VOH... please do tell, the 4 or 5 times that you estimated seeing her at the bar did she arrive alone?

How many times did you see her in the company of her friend from Florida?
Did he go to the bar that last night?

Thank you

I have not met Justin.

Now here's another pesky question, why didn't some/any patrons leave the bar for at least an hour or more to go outside to have a smoke?
The barrels were lit.

Now is someone going to say that none of the patrons at Froggy's on Friday night were smokers? All the smokers left before 11:30? What? :banghead:
I've never known a smoker who was also drinking to go over an hour without having a cig. :moo:

Not everyone who smoked stood by the barrels. It's common for people, especially when the crowd dwindles to minimal numbers toward the end of the night, who do smoke to stand on the porch right by the door way to smoke their cigarette and still participate in conversation.

In addition, when I was referring to leaving the bar or coming - I meant like going home or just getting to the bar. I really have no clue who went out on the porch for a cigarette or not that night.

VOH-

Did you ever see NH, owner or someone wearing boots like the ones found?

What military guy found the boots, ... not the same one who told us about the texts?

I believe that I read Froggys has no basement,.. is there an attic?

What time does the bar open?

Any chance, NH has bar keys?

I cannot answer in regard to the sneakers.

Not the same soldier.

Bar opened anywhere from 7 AM - Noon, depending on staffing - I believe was the reason for variations.

I do not know if Nick had keys, I would think not.

Gun or no gun involved, it shows he's interested in stuff he's not supposed to be doing - not the little angel love bird clueless husband he seems to be presenting on national TV. Just noting this discrepancy.

I agree with you!
J did not come to visit her when Mike was there!
And they went to bars K and M didnt go to.
Just strange!

I think the marriage was over also!

Has anyone tried the lie detector applications? Find a good one? They don't work the same as a polygraph - they are based off of voice stress levels.
