I think Trump should sue the federal judge for libel and defamation of character. The jury ruled. Trump did not commit rape under existing law. Hard fact.
It is outrageous defamation for the trial judge to come out and disagree with the jury, appear to overrule them, attempt to qualify a verdict as it was delivered, and blurt out a falsehood to gaslight the media sharks who continually circle. That’s libel.
Who is the judge to determine what most people’s definition of rape is? He doesn’t know any “most people”. He is an elite. I bet he thought most people would vote for Harris too. Sounds like he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. So… complete gaslighting.
The judge doesn’t make the law. The House and Senate do. He doesn’t get to pronounce after the trial is over what he thinks the law should be, and the verdict should be. He doesn’t get to declare an innocent person guilty. That is incredibly wrong in its face.
The Judge’s opinion on what the law should be carries no more weight than mine. Neither of us make the law. And he is supposed to be an impartial judge. Im sure the Trump team will use the boneheaded judges remarks in their appeals. Can we find just one judge up there who is not an egomaniac activist? One who will just do his/her job?
I would even continue the lawsuit against the Judge even if both cases are tossed out on appeal (which I’m sure they will be).
I thought the 15 million GS settlement was WAY too low, but I think the Trump suit against CBS seeking 2B is probably a little too high, - though they did use deception to attempt to sway an election. I have no doubt that was a greater attempt to sway sn election than JAn 6 ever was. Can’t wait for all of them to be pardoned, not that Biden has set the tone
I think the bogus ATL charges are dead (or close), the Jack Smith unconstitutional lawfare cases has been dropped. I think even Bragg’s congered up case is about to be dropped. And nobody is going to agree that its constitutionally ok for a president to be facing a trial (that started over a year earlier) when he leaves office, so Letitia’s is toast too.
Hopefully that’ll clear the lawfare and vexatious litigation slates, and give a new impartial DOJ more time to focus on Mayorkas, Wray, and a few others who I think may have committed treason against the US.
