Here is the conversation with her mom after her second OBGYN appointment July 12, 2017. Remember this is where she tells Dr. Boyce she had a stillborn and buried the baby in the backyard.

Chanley Shá Painter on Twitter

Post confession to doctor that she gave birth/buried baby, BSR texts mom that she likes the lady [doctor] better [than Dr Andrews], and thinks she will continue to see her.

I wonder if BSR requested a different doctor when she made refill appointment?

Given Dr. Andrews was also her mom's ob-gyn, that may have been too close to home for BSR!

I thought the state was going to call her mother, and that's why the mother has not been in the courtroom? Maybe it is the defense that plans to call the mother?

Or perhaps the State planned to call her but decided against it..

The state subpoenaed Kim Richardson as a potential witness but didn’t call her to testify.

I think I read that this was after the police took her phone. She was messaging her boyfriend from her mother's phone.

I think BSR was texting Brandon from her mom’s phone at one point.

JMO

Thank you both, that makes perfect sense. I am so torn over my feelings about these texts that I didn't want to add further confusion.

Interesting. I wonder why they changed their minds.

I agree. I believe police kept BSR phone after Interview #1, and/or the texts were provided by carrier and service plan in the name of mom Kim. I think it was BSR phone in police custody.

From CourtTV:

Skylar to mom: “Weighed 149 lbs on April 25 at gyno visit; weighed 119 lbs on May 18”

If this group is any indicator, she will walk free. But she and her Mother...whether either or both deserve it or not...will not come out of this unscathed. Both have aroused disgust and derision in various segments of the public. There will always be some who blame one or the other for that discarded dead baby.
I would make in hung. I say GUILTY!

I find that a very interesting decision, especially given the State clearly didn't make it until this weekend at the earliest, and perhaps not until day.

Was Kim in the courtroom today? If so, was she there BEFORE the 2nd interview was played?

Wouldn't be surprised at all if the State's read of how the jury responded to watching the interview today helped make their decision.

So Brandon is not the father?

The father (TJ) testified he met BSR through her cousin, and they dated for approximately one month (Aug 2017). Said he never talked to her again after she broke up with him, and blocked him from all communication/social media. He said he was certain of Aug date as break up happened before he started his freshman year at Wright State Univ. MOO

Can somebody help find the answers to this:
I dont understand that message about her tummy from her mom:
Please find a way or U need to find a way ?????
My interpretations:
Find a way to what? Cut off her stomach? Make sure I dont know bc I dont want to lie to Dad anymore?
Am I missing part of that message?
I hope I'm missing something or the message is cut off.
This idea to keep taking dulcolax scares me, how long has she encouraged that?
I personally have heard of women bringing labor on with laxatives, large quantities. Was this before or after the delivery?

I watched most of the day on CourtTV on TV and I didn’t see her mom in the courtroom. Her dad was there but I haven’t seen her mom in the courtroom at all.

Thank you. Sure sounds like it was a last minute decision.

Well, I could not vote to convict her of murder on the case just presented.
