And as owner you don't have to answer to a company on mileage, etc. They could go anywhere anytime. Could be why the audit was refused in Oct 2016. (According to DOT link the other day)

I bet your right!

Thanks for all the information the other day.

And now we know Jake was a drug runner and we can guess whose truck he used!
Better to use his own than to use a company truck.

Hiding drugs amongst legitimate items to deliver.

Billy is the defendant in the motion, he is the one they are referring to.

Jake and George co-owned their truck an eighteen-wheeler
and worked for R & L Transportation.
They were on the way to pick up their truck for a job when arrested.

If they owned it, what happened to it?

Thanks! Billy pulling a gun on Angela makes more sense than Jake doing it.

Thanks!

Why were these people so violent with guns? They all sound like they were raised in physically abusive and controlling households.

Why have grandma be the mother?

Jake really did have a 2nd wife, no wonder she filed an incident report.

These Wagners are way worse (with prior acts) than I imagined. No wonder they were capable of killing so many people.

Jake the drug runner. Add to resume.

Doesn't sound like Rita would be safe if he was out.

This all is just as explosive as the Bond Hearing.
These prior acts are the nail on their coffins.

We always suspected someone was involved in running drugs in that family. How else do you explain the extra income for stuff? I'm surprised they all went to Alaska and lived in that house together for a year, stuck through those long AK nights. It's a wonder some of them didn't go ballistic.

To read of the violence in that family, some violence already known by GW4's ex, is very frustrating. The judge still gave custody of SW to Jake, just months after the murders, and let him take her away to AK with that whole murderous family. I'm still outraged the judge did that (and investigators and AG DeWine allowed it), all while that family was under investigation for the murders of that child's entire family.

I wonder what drugs are referred to? Chris Sr. and Kenny had a bunch of small plants at their "grow op". I recall some people being busted for manufacturing meth down near Bethel Hill Rd. the same week that the BCI raided the Peterson Rd and Flying W farms.

If they owned it, what happened to it?

They were on their way to pick it up when arrested so it will go where all their stuff is I imagine.

In storage overseen by a relative or confiscated as evidence.

Possible it could stay where it was parked to begin with - if that place it was parked at doesn't mind.

Someone has to be in charge of your estate when your in jail for 3 years. RW comes to mind, she is close to Billy and visits him, at least from 2 years ago.

I agree on Billy being the defendant. What are your thoughts on that bullet being placed under "the criminal enterprise that the defendant and his family/co-defendants make up?"

There's a lot of information here about the abusive activities of Jake and others prior to the murders.

Some things I wasn't aware of until now:

  • Jake's physically abusive behavior included trying to strangle Hanna
  • Jake had other people spying on her and reporting to him even after she left and returned home to live with her mom
  • Jake made surreptitious recordings of her and his interactions with her while at 2 different residences in the months just prior to the murders
  • Jake asked Hanna Rhoden not to tell others that her new baby wasn't his
  • Jake offered HMR money to put his name on the birth certificate
  • Jake limited HMR's access to her own family during the time she was living at his house
  • Jake and his family wanted his family to raise S.W. and to have the child think that Angela Wagner was her mother, not Hanna
  • GW4 and his family threatening to shoot Tabitha Claytor on the last night she lived with him at his home
  • As with Hanna, GW4 refused to let Tabitha contact her family while she was living with him, they also wanted her to allow their child to think Angela Wagner was their mother
  • Controlling behavior over Jake's second wife, Elizabeth Wagner, including all of her passwords, personal info, installing a tracking device on her phone. Had a PI investigate her. Same behavior as with others - no contact with her family, threats of injury or death, spying on her, etc.
  • Incidents of arson on their own properties for personal gain
  • Billy threatened Angela Wagner with a gun
  • Billy was transporting drugs and engaged in drug trafficking
  • Billy threatened and plotted to kill other people in prior instances
  • Billy threatened Chris Sr. with a gun a week before the murders
  • Having others commit perjury and obstruction of justice to cover up his crimes
  • Billy Wagner only moved to FWF because his father was ill. Otherwise they all lived together.
  • Engaged in counter-surveillance activities to keep LE from investigating them before, during and after the murders.
There are other acts listed, but they're things we already knew from news reports, indictments, etc.

(Italicized above by me)

If I was AW, I'd be getting pretty nervous with this info being brought out in the open. These two italicized statements, along with RN's confession, should weigh heavily in the case against AW. Guess that explains why the forged custody papers for both GW4's son and SW were written to give AW custody if anything happened to GW4 and JW. She wanted the little ones to think she was their mother. :(:(

That whole calling her "mom" thing is heart breaking.

Mark Collins says his client, Billy, becomes frustrated at times with the court proceedings and it showed Monday.

Monday’s ruling will delay these proceedings even further.

How did it show?

I can't find the video. Wish I could have seen it.

Wow...no wonder Mike Dewine used the word bizarre. After reading what JW did to new wife EW, I'm certain she will be called as a major witness for the prosecution. EW as well as TC are lucky to be alive.

I think TC didn't speak a word of what the W's did to her to anyone in LE. She probably felt she was under a death threat. She fled in the night, hid in the darkness, terrified. She must have thought saying anything against a W, the wealthy W's too, would result in death.

You mean the motion hearing video? I have it if that is what you need.

From above post I think you missed....

An article says they co-owned the truck which means, to me, they owned it not any company. Another article says they shared an 18 wheeler.

References are made to "their" truck being bugged, not a company truck. BCI would not be able to bug a company truck that belonged to the company that other drivers were also driving.

"I worked on my family's farm as well as drove an eighteen-wheeler, which I share with my Brother"

Jake worked on his family farm and drove a truck he co-owned with his brother George Wagner IV, custody records say.

BBM - CC, from above post "I think you missed....

I'm not sure what I missed.. Please cite your links.
Bottom line, did they own the rig or not?
