I don't think any witness on this case had enough info to cop any deal.

Wait, I take that back, RN had enough information to get a plea bargain.

But RN's information supports one of their charges and she was actually involved.

I do think it is possible that the prosecution made an agreement not to prosecute someone for drugs if they gave information about Billy being a drug runner.

I think someone spilled the beans on that.

I'm not sure of the definition of witness as we speak of it here.
Anyway, your second point is a real possibility.

I agree. This is why I keep coming back to the methamphetamine angle. Possible white supremacist tattoos on Billy and he is accused of running drugs and murdering 8 people. I do think Billy was high on meth and probably running it too, and was probably hanging around a certain crowd. MOO.[/QUOTE]

I just realized. RN may have also had someone else to protect from something else entirely, so she may have had important information to trade. idk. MO.

Tattoo - Billy
Release Form (1 p)

What is interesting to me is that they located the place that gave him the tattoo because they have the release form that you sign before a tattoo.

It's interesting because if Billy said anything incriminating while getting it, the tattoo artist could be a witness.

The tattoo itself isn't a big deal but it's all about why did he get it? The 8 segments look bad but his attorney could say the tattoo artist is the one who decided 8 segments or the tattoo artist could be the one to say Billy insisted on 8 segments....
And 8 arms counting the claws! JMO

I thought so too, that it looked like he cut off a finger. But then I read @Betty P 's post about it likely being a glove used to cover hand tatts. If you click on the link she provided, I think those pics fit with what I can see of his hand. (But wouldn't those be some extreme measures, cutting off a finger to distort or remove the tattoo. And he'd probably be charged with tampering with evidence to boot!) AMOO

It must be significant since AC was wanting to take a picture of it.

AC probably wants a photo of Scorpion to include with testimony from the tat artist (if that person testifies). You can imagine... photo goes to establishing tat artist and his/her testimony.

Non Verbal bragging is my take. I am sure if its admitted defense will say he just liked it. He probably wanted to shout it to the world that he was a badass and killed 8 people, but could not so that was his next bet choice. G4 apparently had a desire for a tattoo also, allegedly.

BW probably had his done locally or either his release was found in the important papers too or somewhere. Since G4 was a truck driver he will probably say he does not remember in what town he had his done.

The order is for photographs of Defendant's tattoos (plural) so maybe more than the scorpion will come into question.

Anyway, your second point is a real possibility.

My understanding of witnesses in this case is anyone who is giving information like a tattoo artist, CN, George's EX M-I-L, relatives and friends about J & H's relationship, George's and Jake's EX wives, everyone first on scene that morning including LE, BCI investigators, all experts, neighbors if they saw or heard anything, etc...

...A ton of witnesses will likely take the stand.

Apparently FW is a witness for the defense. Be interesting to see who the defense witnesses are and who would be a good character witness for them if they have the second trial, Penalty Phase Trial.

The AG's office said that JM is considered a witness because he discovered a crime scene, he will likely have to testify to exactly when and what he saw that morning, possibly his wife also. BJM is a witness and the friends with her will likely have to confirm when scene #1 and #2 were discovered, same for DS and Kenneth's son who both discovered that crime scene.

Possibly, but why now? I think it's because of the mangled/bandaged hand. She wants to see if that tattoo is still there.

The Red Truck, you will need to go back to:

Thread 33

Post 948

Let's try to do a timeline on the red truck

  • 6/4/2012 - Pamela Franklin shoots her husband while sitting in a late model black car outside his Peebles, OH dental practice at 10 pm on a Sunday night. Franklin was apprehended in Peebles, OH - Adams County
Wife 'shoots husband' outside his Ohio dental practice | Daily Mail Online
  • 11/6/2012 - Pamela Franklin takes a plea deal in her husband's shooting; sentenced to 3 yrs in prison, credit for 155 days served - Adams County
  • 9/16/2013 - Title transfer on red truck - mileage reported as 197,682
Is it possible the red truck was in an LE impound lot for this period, possibly taken as evidence?

2015
  • 8/28/2015 - unknown title change - mileage reported as 197,682
  • 9/9/2015 - Title change (?) owner - mileage reported as 220,000

The whole page has Several comments and post made from info another poster had dug out. Hope it helps.

Like I said before, I doubt that Billy and his "7th grade education" (according to his lawyers) ran across the Valknut (his forearm tattoo of the interlocked triangles) while he was deeply immersed in reading about Germanic Culture out there on Flying W Farms. MOO: he was hanging with some people involved in other shady $hit that have appropriated these symbols for their own use.

CC, They are several people that are friends and family to the Wagners that are guilty enough to cop a plea deal, if you owned a business would you let someone park all their stuff on your land if they where accused of murder or maybe a family member around the same age that knew a little to much information that could get you life in prison not saying it could be any of those people, but it could be a lot of people that are friends/family with the Wagners, that could have reported them to the law, One question I would like to ask now that we have looked at this family for the last 2 1/2 years and why did it take so long to get on the Wagners trail , (They Should Have Been Arrested The First Week) IMO ????

And I'll end my meth speculation with this - it is easier to buy Anhydrous Ammonia if you have a farm and farm uses that justify it. Look up the reasons that Anhydrous Ammonia gets stolen, pretty interesting. Pure speculation on my part.

I believe she wants a photo for a couple reason. I did some research on defendants/tattoos. There are appeals revolving around tattoos in the court room. Appeals that have been won because Prosecutor had defendant walk over to jury and display tattoo. Apparently photos present less of a problem.
Could you imagine big bad billy freely walking around the court room, approaching jury...

I believe it was said in bond hearing that the W's were suspects early on. I would have to listen again and I also do not know what early on means in their world.

I was being sarcastic, hence the eye roll emoji. I agree though that BW's attorney was appeasing his client.

I know you were being sarcastic. I was reiterating that because I agreed with you.

But again...why now? Timing is everything.
