I've been wondering about Angela's medical issue. Do we know if the request was to see a Dr, or to a hospital perhaps? Maybe it's menopause.

Yup.

Doctor makes me think a Specialist who can order tests to get a diagnosis for
specific symptoms.

Hospital makes me think an illness requiring tests and/or treatments outside the scope of jail medical.

Menopause makes me think a routine mammogram because she turned 50.

So much relief  so much tension

They may change it to a status hearing, but it might take a while because GW4's attorneys have to meet with him and draw up the detailed plea agreement - like the one Jake has signed. It's a lot of paperwork, etc.

I hope that one of them is required to tell in open court what they did and how they did it.

1 coward animal down, 3 more to go. By pleading guilty, he avoids the death sentence.

At this point, I'm really asking myself how the 2 Wagner parents messed up so horribly? Not only do they produce 2 murderers, but they all 4 get together, plan the thing, and carry it out together!! I can't even imagine what those conversations were like.

This case is how I found websleuths. I was shocked and infuriated no one was arrested for 8 murders,an entire family, attacked in their sleep.

It brought me here too.

Looking forward:
Can a person who knows the murdering culprits of 8 individuals be charged for accessory after the fact for simply not reporting the crime? Or, must their participation be greater?

I feel like there will be more arrests, if so.

Jake was sick and postponed a hearing, there was speculation it was covid.

Covid is always a big possibility!
Cancer is the Big (C) I was referring to!!!! JMO

Oh wow. Just read that JW confessed. Wow.

What the heck is he smiling about? He looks like he is restraining himself from saying something?

We know Billy, Jake and G4 had favored guns. Do we have enough autopsy information to deduce what guns(caliber bullets) were used to kill each victim?

I don't believe anyone answered your question. But I see I don't have the caliber of bullet for each victim. Maybe @Cool Cats has that info somewhere....

OH Pike Co., 8 in Rhoden Family Murdered Over Custody Issue, 4 Members Wagner Family Arrested #57

Christopher Rhoden, Sr. (age 40): Nine shots (face, torso, extremities). He suffered was an apparent defensive wound to his right forearm that shattered bone. Also, at least one bullet went through a door before hitting him.
Dana Rhoden (age 37): Five (head). Methodically shot four times around the right side of her head & a fifth time under her chin.
Hannah Gilley (age 20): Five (head). Among the five bullet wounds to Gilley was one to her left eye.
Christopher Rhoden, Jr. (age 16): Four (head). With 2 of the shots in the top of his head.
Clarence “Frankie” Rhoden (age 20): Three (head). Two were “contact wounds” as indicated by soot from the gun on his skull.
Gary Rhoden (age 37): Three “contact” wounds (head). Shot twice in the head & once in the face. With one of the shots, the reports indicate the gun was pressed against the side of his head, leaving a "muzzle stain."
Hanna Rhoden (19): Two (head).
Kenneth Rhoden (age 44): One shot (thru right eye).
All eight victims were shot with the gun barrel touching their skin or very, very close to it – just centimeters or inches away, the coroner determined.

2 Things I would like to ask you Sluthers:
#1= What the He11 did Jake find so funny when Judge Deering ask him how plea on the murders of Hanna May Rhodens, Dana Rhodens and Hannah Hazel Gilley?
#2=Do you Sluthers think that Angela Wagner is sick and needs special treatment is the reason Jake confessed?

Personally I don't think it was actually a smirk. It looked like he had a lump in his throat when he said he was guilty of killing Hanna. Trying not to cry - just my opinion.
On #2 - I don't think so.

After 5 years...

Oh - forgot - I just checked the court site for all of them - no changes have been made on anyone yet. Will check it out later...

Wow, finally one of the beasts cracked. Now I hope the rest of them fall like dominos and that justice is served.
When I think of all the lost lives of the victims, their kids having to live on without them, the killers destroying their own lives, I just shake my head. What a waste. Moo.

Wow guilty on everything charged really. The state took the death penalty away, that's it.

Now the other 3 should see the writing on the wall and plea the same or face the testimony of JW in court against them all.

The Rhoden, Manley and Gilley families deserve full judicial closure and know none of the W4 will ever see the light of day outside of a prison.

JW told prosecutors he personally killed 5 of the 8 victims. I'm thinking the 3 he didn't were probably CRSR, GR and KR.

That was him screwing his face up trying not to cry when he did it for Hanna and Hannah, IMO. I think it was nerves one other time with the judge.

Maybe the jailer told Jake Wagner that Charles Reader would be sharing his jail cell is the reason he decided to admit to the murders????
I don't for one second believe that little I'm very sorry for what I did that JW spewed unsolicited (in error to a question the judge was asking him). Did you see his eyes every time he looked out into the audience, dead eyes. I think something bad already happened to him in prison.

I think there might be an unofficial agreement as to who's going to be his cell mate from now on. He'll have a little more freedom being off of death row. I'm thinking general population is a much scarier place than were he's been held. He got something besides life for spilling his guts, giving them the location of the murder weapons and vehicles. Jake Wagner pleads guilty to 8 counts of murder five years after Pike County massacre

So George, Billy, and Angela won't face the death penalty if Jake testifies against them. Has he 'testified' against them yet? How does this work if the other three go for the plea?
Yes he's given "testimony" against them, AC said he did. I'm sure he was deposed. If the other three accepted it will be comparable sentences and fines. It will be over judicial, criminally. Like Johnny B said there will most likely be civil cases down the road.

Wow! And on the fifth anniversary of their murders:

Special Prosecutor Angela Canepa shocked the courtroom yet again when she announced that Wagner has been cooperating with prosecutors for some time and that, with information he provided, investigators were finally able to recover the guns she said were used in the homicides as well as the vehicles that the family used to sneak onto the Rhoden properties, break into the homes and pull off what investigators have said were executions.

Wagner has, Canepa said, also confessed to personally killing five of the eight victims.

Thanks for the video.

Beginning at 1:49:00,

JW's statements gave them the weapons used (obtained as evidence) and info on vehicles used for the crime, including one used only the night of the murders, so at least two vehicles. He admits to shooting five of the victims, and admits they were all in on it the night of the murders.

It's looking like they all went house to house together. Maybe except KR's, hard to tell.

They tried to destroy the weapons, but apparently the weapons were still somewhere to be retrieved by LE after JW's statements.
Think the weapons were on FW's land? Always a possibilty when a family members owns acres and acres.
