I cannot imagine a scenario where the prosecutors will accept any plea that takes LWOP off the table.

I'm more interested if others will be implicated by Jake's confession.

Nor would the judge. Jake's evidence is more than enough to keep the rest of his family in jail.

I don't know why some folks here think anyone is going to weasel out of this. It's not going to happen. There's too much evidence, including eyewitness testimony from Jake. Come on.

Two shooters in each location firing simultaneous first shots might have worked. But it could also be that they didn't always. It seems like Chris Jr. woke up. He was shot twice in the top of the head while hiding between the bed and the wall, I believe, according to the autopsies. Chris Sr. had a shattered arm, which suggests a defensive wound. Kenneth was shot in the eye by someone with a gun in front of him. Gary had stippling on the side of his head (he could have been caught and executed while awake). So, there is a version of events -- and we just don't know -- where a good chunk of them were wide awake. My bet is Hannah Gilley and Frankie were sleeping; perhaps Hanna and Dana were; but I am not sure about the latter two and I am dubious about the others.

JMO for the most part.

Autopsy information:

Final Reports
Supreme Court orders release of full autopsies from Pike County murders

Redacted Reports
https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov...BCI/Pike-County-Final-Autopsies-REDACTED.aspx

The AR's released were not full autopsy reports. DeWine had the Ohio Supreme Court rule against releasing those, so that decision will need to be overturned in order to see the full AR's. In fact, no final AR can be viewed by the public or news media in Ohio now. It was a historically bad precedent for government transparency.

Those are preliminary AR's the news media were allowed to view. Nevertheless, it was helpful to finally read about some of those details.

Did GR have a driver's license? If so, did he have a vehicle?

I cant see anyone weaseling out of anything over these murders. The train has left the station. Thw worse they can do is commit suicide so they wont have to face judgment.

Oh but they WILL face their "final" judgment... just sayin'

Not sure if GR had a drivers license, I thought he did not. MO.
I believe he did not have a vehicle or drive a vehicle to UHR on that visit.
So, it was always my belief that the W's were totally surprised by GR presence, and that was the beginning of the over reaction at CRsr.

MO Theory Supposition
Betty, it has been a long time since I read the autopsy reports.
And even then, I didn't fully understand the implications of the words.
Since that time I have done a little reading about autopsy findings in general, and apparently it may be possible to determine during autopsy from blood work, if victims have an indicator of experiencing high level of stress prior to death.
maybe it was a hormone indicator.
Does anyone know anything about this?
That information would help to clarify who may have been asleep and who may have been awake.
I doubt that specific test, if done, was one of the items released to the public view, even though we may not have understood the words or their significance.
It would have been redacted, I think.
Anyone?

I listened to the one Pru2U posted a few pages back. Is it the same one?

This one was very good. Sad.
I could not locate the photo they referred to.
If anyone can post a link to the photo it would be helpful.
Apparently a photo of the wedding of Geo4 and his wife and all Rhodens were there. Altogether in one photo R's and W's - supposedly taken by DR.

Is it possible to post the link to the Pru2U podcast you mention and the link to the wedding picture. I've looked back several pages but maybe not far enough ~~ thanks

I don't know how to post links from my phone but link to podcast is on page 4 of this thread, about halfway down the page. Link to Instagram of the picture is in very last post on page 7 of this thread. Sorry my phone doesn't tell me the post numbers

Plea deals, hearings, and sentencing.... How will we ever learn the answers to all of our questions. So many unanswered questions. Will the media look into more details? Do I have to wait for the movie?
Where did they hide the guns? The vehicles, what kind of vehicles were used....
I need closure.

So true. It is my opinion that all-terrain vehicles were used. One of the banks FW used financed these type vehicles.

All terrain vehicles would be easier to hide ... and we have discussed their possible use. I think that big black suv type vehicle was seen on Union Hill Rd that night, AW's. That might be hearsay though, no links, my opinion. Who knows! Maybe both types were used. I hope we find out.

How loud are ATV's? Louder than a truck?

That depends, the legal limit on an ATV is 99 decibels (equals noise of a push mower, jackhammer, etc.) IIRC

BUT, you can modify the noise levels on any ATV to drop the dbs down. I am not sure what ones they had but since they deer hunted I would think they didn't have the super loud ones.. plus you can buy silencers for atvs.

So to give an absolute answer to you.. I can't with 100% certainty.

Yes. Cars and Trucks have better sound insulation than ATV's.

ATV's don't have room to haul all those security systems they dismantled along with whatever else they stole and brought with them, like perhaps changes of clothes and boots, weapons, phones, and who knows what all else.

A truck bed would be more realistic as a place to toss the outside security cameras. Added up, there probably was more of a need to have 2 regular sized vehicles as opposed to just one. Seems like it anyway..2 cent

Jake is a sociopath/psychopath. He's such a narcissist that he doesn't care and can't relate to the feelings or emotions of other people, even his own family.

He's done. He's not going anywhere but prison for the rest of his life. His family are in the same situation. It's all over except for the paperwork and technicalities. Those will take a while because each of the other 3 family members have to make their own plea deal, have it reviewed and sign off on it.

I assume when the time comes, each of them will also appear in court for the same type of hearing that Jake recently had, where Judge Deering asks them to respond on record to all the same questions, for each of the counts against them.

Following that, each will have a formal sentencing process, in which the penalties for each count and specification will be calculated and the formal sentence will be handed down. Some of them may appeal for things like visitation privileges, etc. It's just a formal process.

Each will be sent to a prison to serve their sentences.

Unless they are able to offer them significant inducements, it does seem that they don't have a lot to lose in going to trial and in maintaining their innocence. I'm not convinced that they'll all 3 take a plea deal. JMO

I agree on all points!

So, who is on deck when for the next court appearance?

We have not seen Jake's plea agreement. Kanepa is clever and thorough. It probably stipulated that if the others plea, no DP. If they decide to go to trial, then DP is back on the table. Does this sound reasonable?
